从医学的角度看，我还是很认同美国这家医学中心的做法的，这样的话，至少新生婴儿就不会被遗传某些基因疾病了，从一定程度上来说，还可以抑制某些疾病的延续。

但是，谁又能保证克隆的新生儿不会携带什么我们目前还不能控制的的新病毒呢?这不是个危害吗?

纵使有了这个，那个的好处，克隆想完全的冲破几千年历史留下的伦理道德的栅栏，还是很困难的。所以从现在大多数人的观念来看，克隆还是很难被接受的，更不要说克隆人了。

我们假设一下，克隆被完全的接受了，甚至到了人人都想克隆自己的时候，那是不是就表明克隆的完全成功了呢?我想还不是的，看按“第六日”中阿诺.施瓦幸格的无助我们就明白了一切。克隆留给我们的是一大堆尚待要解决的问题和一系列的困惑。

其中的一个问题就在于：在这个张扬个性的时代，克隆没有突出时代要求，而且制造的只是人的复制品，只是物质形态的复制品，这种复制品没有自己的思想，有的只是被复制者的旧思想，没有形成自己的新思想，这显然对社会的发展没有推动作用，甚至会阻碍社会的发展。
