一、转换思维，确立英语在各学科中的重要地位

首先老师必须帮助学生确立这样的观点：英语是主课，不是豆芽课。在小学阶段，不论是老师，学生，还是家长，可能都看重语文，数学的学习。在小学的英语教学中，老师主要是以游戏为主，关键是学校和教育部门对英语的评估不如语文数学那样重视。所以学生普遍认为语文，数学很重要，英语是豆芽课，学英语就跟玩似的。到了中学，仍然主攻语数、理化，依然把英语当副科。一个学生亲口跟我说：我一直都以为初中英语跟小学一样，是豆芽课。我心痛不已。在入学之初，班主任和英语老师都应反复强调英语这一学科的重要性，让学生引起重视，才能为以后认真学习作好心理准备。

其次要纠正的一个观点是英语无用的观点。我们的老一辈是喊着：“学好数理化，走遍天下都不怕”;“我是中国人，不必学外文”的口号完成学业的。时至二十一世纪，虽然中国已改革开放多年，学英语之风已吹遍大江南北，但在我们这样的小地方，那些口号遗留下来的观点仍然存在。学生们仍然死抱数理化，对英语极其忽略。因为他们认为自己将来用不上英语的，既进不了外企，又成不了CEO，就更别说出国了。所以英语在毕业之后是基本无用的。殊不知，正是这一观点制约了他们的发展，如果他们学好了英语，其余各科也很优秀的话，他们是可以很好发展的，他们一定能走出小城，走向外面的大世界，实现他们更高的社会价值。所以老师应该讲道理，摆事实让学生明白学好英语的重要性。

二、背单词从科学方法入手，避免走弯路

很多初一新生按字母顺序背单词，有些老师也确实这么教的，比如自行车，bike,老师就领着学生念：B-I-K-E，bike。学生自然就学会了这样背单词，即使后来老师介绍了更科学的方法，学生却难改已经养成的习惯，这种方法就一直用到初三，乃至更高的年级。

初一单词量不算很多，本身课程比较轻松，有足够的时间，还能应付。到了高年级，单词量增加，课业加重。学生再也顾不上单词了，即使花了很多时间，单词还是记不住，这就影响了听说，阅读。成绩下降，兴趣降低，学习跟不上了，最终只好放弃学习英语。

老师应在学生开始学英语时就教学生科学背单词的方法，避免学生走弯路。我在了解了马承老师字母，音素，音标的三位一体教学法后，就教学生根据音标背单词。当对字母，音标熟悉到一定程度，只要会说那个单词，就基本上会拼写这个单词。看着生词也能准确的读出来，学生不必花大量时间在单词上。

老师还可以利用学生小学语文课上学的拼音，把汉语拼音和字母，音标建立适当的联系，有利于学生快速记住英语音标的读法和写法，能更快入门。

另外，有些学生一背单词，就翻到书后面的单词表，逐个记忆。其实这种单纯记忆单词是很容易遗忘的。我们老师应该引导学生多读课文，在课文中背单词。这样记下来的单词才能活用，也有利于培养学生的语感。

三、明确中英文化差异

任何一个民族都有其独特的文化和思维方式以及语言的构成方式。西方人的思维、习惯是有别于咱们中国人的，英语语言也是有别于汉语的。英语老师都明白这一点。但老师却没重视这种差异给学生学习带来的困惑。没有及时告诉学生这些差异，这就容易导致学生用中国人的思维方式去理解英语中的一些现象，而且百思不得其解。

我认为初一新生一入学就该明白这一点，学会接纳认同其他民族的文化，了解他们的思维方式，树立文化差异意识，避免用汉语套英语，用汉语的顺序说英语句子，用中国人的习惯去衡量西方人，造成很多考试中的失误和面对西方人时的尴尬。

因此，英语老师在教学中要注意文化的问题，在语言中教文化，在文化中教语言，使二者互相促进。文化的学习既是外语学习的目的，也是外语学习的手段。如果英语教学一旦提升到文化的高度，就会富有情趣。比如：西方人不喜欢“13”这个数字;在中国人眼里，红色是喜庆的，而在西方人眼里则是危险的标志。比如东西方人对赞美的回答，比如中国人和英国人在闲聊方面的话题选择等等都与文化有关。

四、养成大声阅读的习惯，杜绝哑巴英语

很多学生进校时精力充沛，兴趣浓厚，读英语很卖力，日子一长，兴趣没了，声音小了，到了二，三年级，就成默读了。有老师抱怨：早读课比晚自习还安静!

习惯成自然。老师让学生一开始就养成大声阅读的习惯，并随时观察，发现学生有读不出的时候要想办法。我曾在班上给学生讲李阳老师拿着喇叭带领一群人在长城上喊英语的故事，我也带领学生在早上喊读英语，经过几次练习，也颇有成效。

同时我在课堂上也要求学生大声说英语。一个有趣的活动是让教室里相隔甚远的两个同学随意问答，这也可以改变学生因害羞，害怕而不大声说英语的状况。

还有就是避免学文盲英语，有的小孩子读书，嘴里喊得响亮，眼睛没看到书上，即使知道怎么说，却写不出来，或者写别字，这种学法是必须要纠正的。

五、学会做笔记，好记性不如烂笔头

小学老师总告诉孩子们，把这记在这里，把那记在那里。中学老师不会这样告诉学生，这就要学生知道怎样做笔记。而且英语知识点相对零散，课堂上很容易理解和记住，却由于不是系统的，所以极容易遗忘，学生必须时时记笔记，经常复习。有些学生开始没养成记笔记的习惯，后来明明知道那是该写的东西，却懒得动手。考试时到处找别人的笔记来背，其效果当然不理想。

所以学英语之初，就要学生准备笔记本，要求他们作笔记，老师还可以不定期检查，以督促学生记笔记。

在初学英语时，老师应指导学生怎么做笔记并形成习惯，比如：课文里的短语，重要句子，就直接在短语，句子下划线。一些词，句的转换，就直接把替代的词句写在该词句旁边，这样可以在课堂上节约时间。而一些词语辨析，重点句型及例句，大块的语法，比如时态等就得写在笔记本上，省得在书上见缝插针，复习时不好找。另外，学生应在笔记本上写明单元，课题等，以方便查找。

学生要有一套自己的做笔记的符号，老师也可以介绍一些。比如：短语就划直横线，重点句型划波浪线，重点介词，连词等就把该词划圈。这样学生在读课文时就可以重点注意这些有符号的词句，在读书的同时，也可以把这些知识点顺便过一遍，比单独复习省时省力多了。

课堂上，老师首先教会学生基本的课堂用语，问候语。课后老师可以主动用简单的英语和学生打招呼。老师把目标语言呈现后要少讲解，多操练。操练的方式也是多种多样的，可以两人对话，可以小组对话，还可以实行男女生之间的对话。老师可以自己编一些简单有趣的句子写在黑板上，让学生读。也可以设置情景，让学生编对话。这些活动不仅可以提高学生听说读写的能力，也能提高学生学习兴趣。

在教了字母，音标之后，应该鼓励学生自己拼读，预习单词和课文，不知道意思的单词自己去查词典。初中阶段建议学生使用双语词典，要让学生有意识地去看英文注解。

培养学生自己总结知识的能力，自己总结已经学过的句型，短语。鼓励学生造出自己的句子，用英语表达自己的思想。

现在学英语的渠道很多，学生可以自己选择简单有趣的读物，磁带，光碟，或在网上下载简单的听力，还可以通过网络结交到笔友，在英语网站上学英语。只要正确选择使用这些东西，都可以提高英语，并且会让学英语变得越来越轻松。

在我的生活中，有许许多多的事情，有伤心的、开心的、难忘的，一桩桩，一件件，就像天空中一颗一颗闪烁的星星，数也数不清。其中，令我最难忘的一件事情是：三八妇女节给妈妈洗脚。

三八妇女节的那天晚上我对妈妈说：妈妈，我给你洗脚吧！妈妈高兴地说：好啊！我先拿出洗脚盆，再往洗脚盆里接水，水接好了，我把水放到地上，说：妈妈，开始洗了。妈妈开心地说：好！当妈妈的脚放进洗脚盆后，我就把双手伸开始给妈妈洗脚，首先把脚趾缝轻轻的仔细地搓了搓，接着又洗了脚背，然后搓脚心和脚后跟。当我给妈妈洗脚后跟的时候，只觉得脚后跟有一层粗糙而且又硬又厚的皮，我奇怪地问：妈妈这是怎么回事？妈妈听了佯装怪怨地说：这是每天接送你上学走路多了磨成的。我听了以后想：妈妈每天真是太辛苦了，我一定要努力学习以更好的成绩来报答妈妈。妈妈的脚洗好了，我拿下擦脚毛巾，仔细的一点一点的给妈妈擦脚，从脚趾到脚背再到脚心脚后跟。擦好了，妈妈高兴地说到：你真棒！

这真是我经历过最棒的一个妇女节啊！不过这只是一个开始，以后我一定要帮妈妈做更多的事情。

My school is at Haimen Town. It is very big and beautiful. There are forty-three classes in it. When you come to our school, you can see the modern teaching building. Our teachers work and do practice in it. Behind the building, there are two classroom buildings and a school library. In the library there are thousands and thousands of books. After class you can borrow the books you want and also you can read them in the reading room at any time. Beside our classroom, there is a big playground. At about 4:30 p.m. every day, many students play football, basketball and some of them play tennis. All the playground is alive.

Our school is a model school in Jiangsu. I like my school very much.

今天，妈妈要和她的同学一起举行一场盛大的同学聚会。

我兴高采烈地和妈妈坐着一辆黑色的小轿车赶往永泰的酒店。在坐车的时候，我感到头晕目眩，于是打开车窗，想要呼吸一下新鲜的空气。当时，我看见外面，车水马龙，川流不息。看来，今天去酒店的人还真不少!

到了酒店，我完全被震惊住了。这里实在太美了!光彩夺目的灯挂在天花板上，四周还有着许多银白色的大柱子。我踩着深红色的地毯，看到窗户旁鲜花朵朵，芬芳迷人。窗外还有一个大喷泉，喷泉池里有许多金鱼正无拘无束地游来游去呢!

坐了一上午的车，我的肚子饿得咕咕叫，于是我飞快地跑去吃午饭的地方。我坐在椅子上先津津有味地吃着饭前点心。没过多久饭就端上来了，这些色香味俱全的美味佳肴不断诱惑着我的味蕾，香得令我口水直流三千尺。我迫不及待夹起一道道菜，狼吞虎咽吃起来。

吃完饭，我们一起在会议厅里玩游戏、回答问题......最令我难忘的是一个踩气球游戏。游戏一开始，我和其他小朋友脚上都绑着三个气球，但我很快 就把其他小朋友的气球都踩爆了。到最后可活动的范围缩小了，难度也增加了许多，我只剩一个气球了，对手也只剩一个气球了。然后我连连向他发起攻击。对方躲 无可躲，只好自己踩爆自己的气球，把胜利的机会让给我。我的手被评委举了起来，我赢了，太开心了。

下午，我们去泡温泉，尝试了各种主题的温泉。到了最后一个温泉时，我舒服地泡在水里，感觉自己就像喷泉池里的小金鱼，自在又轻松。

晚上，我做了一个甜蜜的梦，梦到的就是今天的经历。不知不觉，我笑了。

这次和妈妈一起去参加她的同学聚会，我玩得真开心。

昨天晚上，由于妈妈还在店里加班，我秘密地与外婆“联络”，给外婆通风报信，让她准备一桌丰盛的酒菜，给她一个惊喜，顺便用我攒下的零用钱给她买一束鲜花。

第二天一起床，我就按计划行动：“啊，妈妈，今天是你的生日，不如我们到外婆家去 ，好吗?”由于前几个礼拜一直没空去外婆家，所以妈妈便爽快地答应了。

到了外婆家，妈妈一进屋，眼前突然一亮，只见桌上摆上了各式各样的小菜，外婆在厨 房里忙得热火朝天，妈妈看了立刻跑进厨房和外婆抢活干，趁这个空挡，我假借去找我哥哥玩的名义悄悄地溜了出去，顺利“出关”以后，我直奔鲜花店，准备给妈妈挑选生日花束，我左寻右找，后来，我看中了一朵康乃馨，我便叫店家给它包装了一下，包装好了，我忍痛把我那少得可怜的零用钱给他，但想到妈妈拿到花那开心的笑脸，心里喜滋滋的，在回家的路上，我看着那朵康乃馨，只见它青枝红瓣，衬在银色包装上，显 得分外妖艳，那上面扎了个大大的蝴蝶结，并带有“祝你生日快乐”的字样的卡片。

到了大门口，我轻轻地推开门，弯着腰，驼着背，神不知鬼不觉的走到妈妈身后，待妈 妈转过身来，我“哗”地一跳，随即把掩在身后的花拿出并把早已准备好的祝福语说了出来：“祝你生日快乐，青春长在，身体健康，工作顺利，这是俺的一片心意，请笑纳 !”妈妈听了老怀安慰地说：“小仡懂事了，我的心血没白费啊!” 大家看了会心地笑了。

“慈母手中线，游子身上衣，临行密密逢，意恐迟迟归，谁言寸草心，报得三春晖!” 是啊，妈妈是我们在世界最亲近的，她们为我们不知付出了多少心血，我们向她们报恩，也是理所当然的!

今天，我真是哭笑不得?就在我距离猪圈还有两三米的时候，耳边响起了一阵奔跑声。(反正不怀好意)天哪。老妈 哎 到底会点啥!还有大人们抽完的烟头，外加那些三无食品的包装袋，有点在马路上，有点在河里面。吃完后，花花把西瓜皮放到水里，西瓜皮浮在水面上，它跳了进去。

Whenever I visit her in the nursing home, she is sitting at the table in the common dining room, her head in her hands, rocking. Medication has eased her anxiety, but nothing moves her from her stupor except occasional moments of fear, too deep for medication. This is a room that has no windows, that lets in no light, in which an overlarge TV is constantly blaring, sending images that no one looks at where the floors are beige tiles, the walls cream colored at the bottom, papered halfway up with a pattern of nearly invisible grayish leaves. Many of the residents sit staring, slack-jawed, open mouthed. I find it impossible to imagine what they might be looking at.

When I walk into the dining room on the day of my mothers birthday, I see that she has already been served lunch. The staff has forgotten to hold it back. Though I told them a week ago that I would be providing lunch. She hasn’t touched anything on her tray except a piece of carrot cake, which she holds in her hands. The icing is smeared on her hands and face. I dont want my friends to see her smeared with icing, so I wet a paper towel and wipe her. This fills me with a terrible tenderness, recalling, as it does. a gesture I have performed for my children. As I wipe my mothers face, I see that her skin is still beautiful I hold her chin in my hand and kiss her forehead. I tell her its her birthday, that shes ninety years old. "How did that happen?" she asks. "I cant understand how that could happen."

I enjoy summer vacation very much.Becausesummer vacation is the longest vacation of the year. We have more than fifty days to rest. Though it is very hot, we can either go to swim or stay in the air-conditioned room.

In the evening, I like to go shopping with my friends.We can eat many things in summer, such as ice creams, watermelons, grapes, and so on.In summer, I always go on a trip with my parents. Its a good chance for us to visit some nice interesting places.

This week I didn’t do many wonderful things. I went to learn developing film with my classmates on July 1st. It was easy and we all got good marks. Chinese people are now face to a serious problem--pollution. And this problem is a little bit different from others--the goverment can not solve it by themselves. We need everyone to protect our environment. But we also know that it is very hard to call everyone to join us to protect the environment. But it seems that they have found the way to let everybody know it. In a report, Anhui Daily called on residents to help protect the river against pollution. I am so glad about it. And i believe that somewhere the pollution must stop.
