所以，好的立意应该力求做到：
一、 方向要正确
所谓正确，就是立意要符合客观事物的本质和规律，表达出来的思想观点和感情要健康、积极向上。立意正确是写好作文的基本要求，也是评价文章的重要标准。一般来说，我们的立意要与我们目前国家社会倡导的公德相一致，要与当前的时代精神相一致。如：歌颂真、善、美，抨击假、丑、恶，提倡以人为本、爱国、诚信、环境保护、无私奉献等等。决不能表现一些厌世消极的思想，或者是为那些腐败分子、迷信分子歌功颂德。
二、 情感要鲜明
情感的鲜明是指在文章中的情感指向要明确，该批判的批判，该歌颂的歌颂，并且在你的语言中要饱含感情。最好不要出现那些让读者都想不透的模棱两可的情感倾向。这不仅仅会减弱对主题的表现，也会伤害到语言的表现力和感染力，同时也影响了读者的阅读兴趣。感情的鲜明最忌的是故作姿态，夸大其辞，没有分寸，这样反而会让人感觉作呕。所以说，我们的感情表达真实可信才会感人，才会打动人。
三、 思考要深刻
深刻的思考就是要求我们能透过事物的现象去挖掘其内在的本质，思考出对人生，对社会有意义和价值的东西，能在一般人认识上再进一步，能发现别人没有发现的那一点，并能给人以启示。思考的深刻需要我们对眼前的事物作仔细深入的思考，找到事物的内在联系，并能用文章的语言表达出来。

+ 加入清单写作是一种语言输出的过程，这种语言输出的能力不是一天就练出来的，而是要经过长期不懈的训练才能获得。然而在实际写作过程中，有的学生感到无从下笔，即使能写，也仅仅是简简单单的句子；有的学生甚至对英语写作望而生畏，消极应付；总体上学生存在严重的英语表述上的困难。写作能力不高主要表现在：母语影响、词汇量少；单词造句、搭配不当；不懂句型、语法不通；信息不全、条理紊乱；语言连贯性差，缺少锻炼；缺少整体的谋篇布局和前后呼应。因此，如何有效地改进英语写作教学，结合自己的教学心得，我认为，培养学生的写作能力可从以下三方面入手。
一．扩展语言输入，奠定写作基础
英语作为一门语言，它具有一定的工具性和人文性，它的结构应是：词—句—篇。“词”是基础，“句”是过渡，“篇”是则是目的。整个训练遵循“词不离句，句不离篇”的原则，由浅入深，循序渐进，不断提高。为了提高学生的写作能力，我在日常教学中，尝试了“词、句、篇”三步曲的写作教学。在教学中做到 “教、学、用”三者的统一。
（一）巧记单词
书面表达需要一定的词汇量，学生书面表达时容易忘记单词或把汉英词汇等同起来。因此，要求学生坚持每天听写、默写、循环记忆单词，掌握巩固词汇。还要求学生给出与单词有关的同义、近义、反义和词形相似的词，使词汇量得到最大限度的复现。
（二）用词造句、连词成句
造句是英语写作中极其重要的一环。可以说，会造句就会写作。要学会造句，需要注意以下几方面。
1、熟练记忆词汇和短语
这个环节是最基本、最重要的。记忆单词和短语时，可以从五个方面入手：词性、拼写读音、意思、用法。抓住了这一点，就像打好了万丈高楼的地基。否则，写作就无从谈起。
2、熟练记忆各种句型和结构
在牢记词汇和短语的基础上，还要记忆各种句型和结构，为造句进一步打下坚实的基础。像There be / How many / How much / be+adj / be+V-ing / make sb. do sth /plan/wish/hope/want to do sth.等句型和结构。在表达某个意思时，注意让学生尽量使用学过的结构造句，不可随心所欲地造出汉语式的英语句子。
3、掌握各种时态及语态的含义和用法
要写出一个英语句子，就要明白时态和语态。也就是说，谓语动词使用什么形式。这就要求学生对八种常用时态和两种语态非常清楚。因此，熟练地使用各种时态语态对于造句尤为重要。
4、掌握句子类型和成分
简单句的五种基本句型是句子类型中最基本的型式，每个英语句子都是以它们为模型写成的。掌握了它们，适时引导学生扩大句式，鼓励学生利用课文中的句型造句。另外还要训练学生“一句多译”的能力。有时候，拿到一个中文句子，可能不会译，这时，就要想办法，换成其他的表达方法，迂回曲折，达到目的。通过这样的训练，可以增加学生的多渠道的语言思维，提高应变能力，从而避免“中国式”的英语。
（三）连句成篇
此项训练的主要目的是培养学生把语法项目、教材内容和文章体裁有机结合起来的能力。
1.要求学生仿写。掌握在英语学习中所学到的连词。只有连词才能把句子连成语篇。
八年级所学课文都有一定的篇幅，老师在引导学生理解课文的基础上，可要求学生用所学过的短语和句型，用自己的话把课文的基本内容简要的表达出来。如在教授八年级第二单元阅读理解，说明篮球的发明者是谁？是在说明情况下发明的。在老师的帮助下，学生可以吧短文改编为对话的形式展现出来。这样既吧学生的读、说的能力和写的能力同时训练了。也大大的提高了学生的兴趣
2.列出提纲，引导学生写作。
引导学生书面表达有许多形式，教师要从学生“学”的角度来设计教学活动，使学生的学习活动具有明确目标，并构成一个有梯度的连续活动。我首先采用给出文中的关键词或短语，整理素材和文章要用到的信息和关键词。帮学生做好铺垫和理清思路，让学生的大脑里有东西，这样学生才有可能写出东西来，帮学生树立信心，克服心理恐惧，从写作中获得了成功的快乐，树立了写作的信心。
3．注重平时的词句积累
鼓励学生收集好词好句，以便于在写作时能信手拈来。
二．进行有效指导，扎实写作训练
1.巧设课堂，限时作文
训练时当场发题，促使学生瞬间接受信息，快速理解信息，迅速表达信息，提高实际应用和应试能力。这一步是关键，也是学生的难关。首先必须使学生明白书面表达题既不是汉译英，也不是作文，不可任意发挥，要求的是将所规定的材料内容经整理后，展开思维，目的在于考查学生运用所学英语知识准确地表达意思的能力。必须要求学生在写作过程中牢牢记住以下口诀：“先读提示，弄清要点与格式；时态语态要当心，前后呼应要一致；句子结构和搭配，语言习惯莫违背；文章写好细检查，点滴小错别忽视。”学生明确目的并掌握要领后，要严格在规定时间内完成作业。训练的初级阶段，每次时间可放宽一点。随着学生写作能力增强，时间相应缩短，逐步做到20分钟内完成任务，决不能养成拖拉的坏习惯。
2．优化习作批改，及时讲评
作文的批改与讲评是写作教学的最后一个环节，也是其重要的一个环节。由于班级人数多，批改的工作量很大。因此，教师可以让学生动手参与，互相评改。由于学生之间的了解更深刻，他们之间的相互交流往往能收到很好的效果。而当学生意识到教师并不是他文章的唯一读者时，他们会更认真地写好作文。因此，让学生相互传阅和批改作文不仅增加了写作时的真实感，更重要的是，能训练学生的语言意识和语境。

+ 加入清单笔者无意中读到一套中英文对照的《美国语文——美国著名中学课文精选》（以下简称《美国语文》），惊叹美国在编辑排版、知识传授和“学什么、怎样学”等问题上充满想象力的同时，也发现了我国的作文教学存在的若干误区：
一、忽视对生活实践的指导，写作理论先行。
在作文教学中，我们许多教师重视对写作理论的教学、轻视生活实践的指导。写作理论是很重要，但如果把它摆到第一位，可以说没有把握写作课教学的关键。事实上，学生写作的薄弱环节是他们缺乏鲜活的生活经验和经历，缺乏对生活的感受，归根结底，是缺乏独立深入生活、感受生活和发现生活的能力。所以有人说“我们不缺乏才情，却缺乏生活；我们不缺乏生活，却缺乏对生活的感受”。
客观上讲，我们在写作教学上“理论先行”，是人为地在学生头脑中事先划定一个框框，禁锢和限制学生对生活的自由表达。
而《美国语文》最见功夫的地方，恰恰在于范文之后“问题指南”里的“文学和生活”“阅读理解”“思考”“文学聚焦”，以及“点子库”“微型写作课”等，这些设计在紧贴现代生活方面确实创意非凡，着眼于培养、提升学生在面对实际生活时所需的各种应变与应用能力，重视指导学生的生活实践。
上世纪中叶，日本语文教育界在反思长期的作文教学后，提出了“生活作文运动”的口号。这也应引起我们的重视。
二、忽视培养学生独立、主动地收集与研究相关写作资料的能力，学生动手能力较差。
在让学生读过《富兰克林自传》后，《美国语文》提示学生将《自传》传达的内容与富兰克林作为一名政治家的事迹进行比较，找到．新的发现，并把这个发现写成一篇论文。这就需要学生利用多种渠道查找资料。接下来，《美国语文》还要求学生了解富兰克林更多的成就，制作一张集中表现这些成就的海报。这完全就是我们所说的“写应用文”了。成就富兰克林的地方主要是费城，他对这座城市的贡献也最大：帮助建立了公共图书馆、消防局，创办了那里的第一所大学，使费城成为“所有殖民地中第一个拥有路灯的城市”，还在那里参与起草了《独立宣言》。《美国语文》要求学生制作一本费城旅游指南，指南里要表现出他的这些成就，并包含一些相关的历史照片等。在学习了林肯的《葛底斯堡演说》后，《美国语文》要求学生从图书馆或互联网上，找到关于葛底斯堡战役的照片或图片复印件，用文字把它们结合在一起，制作成一幅拼贴画，同时还要求学生制作一个互联网页，提供与美国内战相关的信息与图片，用一个流程图来说明网页所要包括的链接。这些客观上要求学生多利用图书馆、互联网等现代文明成果。
三、奉行一套相对单一、封闭的社会价值理念，使学生的思想和心灵受到某种程度的抑制，导致学生作文思想观念狭隘。
在美国人眼里，林肯这个形象是神圣的。但《美国语文》在介绍他的时候，把他和他的“敌人”罗伯特"E"李放在一起，教材编排时却又不像我国所常用的为反衬而抬举前者，而是认为他们同等重要。罗伯特"E"李是美国历史上最优秀的军事将领之一，南北战争时期担任了南部的最高军事首领，他对故乡弗吉尼亚的忠诚高过对国家的忠诚，所以，当“北方佬”为废除奴隶制、维护联邦而发动战争，打到他的故土时，这个虽然也反对奴隶制和支持联邦的军事天才，还是回到了弗吉尼亚，带领家乡的民众，拿起了“自卫”之剑。如何评价他的行为和信仰？这在美国没有唯一答案，每个人都有自己的答案与理由。至今美国南方许多人都认为，当年“北方佬’，发动的南北战争是“侵略战争”，现在南方有不少历史博物馆，专门陈列“北方佬”的“罪证，以及南方百姓在那场战争中受到的灾难。这体现了一种多元化的价值理念。与此相比，我国传统的价值理念比较单一、封闭，使学生的思想与心灵受到一定程度的抑制导致他们作文思想观念的狭隘化。
四、轻视个体而出现价值认识标准的偏差．导致了文章主题的偏差与恤化。
《美国语文》在不动声色的描述背后流露的是对自由个体的重视，而我们通常以为“只有大河满了，才有小河的满”，其实这是一种本末颠倒的看法。在这方面，历史对我们的教训是最为深刻的。现实地说，社会上绝大多数人都是普通人，驱动他们迸发智慧、才华、力量的最佳要素是他们的个人利益，我们不应鄙薄这种利益，而应该正视它，为它制定公平、公正、透明的规则。重视个体的利益价值，树立以人为本的价值标准，才能让学生发掘生活中一个个精彩的生命世界，写出一篇篇精彩的文章。
五、过分强调文章的道德价值，将作文教学等同于思想政治教学，抑制了学生的想象力和学习热情。
复旦文科基地班有一次招生的作文题目是“我们最缺少的是___________”。应考的都是重点中学出类拔萃的文科生，许多专家、学者都认为应该能涌现一些好文章，然而结果令人失望。绝大多数学生都是写诸如《最缺少的是精神文明》《最缺少的是道德水准》之类的颂词，只有一篇《最缺少的是睡眠》反映了学生的真实生活。这说明现在的作文教学流行一种“揣摩作文”的风气，学生小小年纪就已经在考虑怎样迎合老师、社会和公众，投其所好。
可以说，现今的作文教学很大程度上已经偏离了作文教学本身的要求，进入了许多‘非作文”的误区。在中小学语文教学中，作文本应是最生动活泼、最能激发学生兴趣并让学生充分发挥想象力和创造力的课程，然而，在应试教育桎梏下，它却越来越走入了死胡同。
《美国语文》最成功之处在于非常注意培养学生的想象力和自由真实地表达生活的能力—想象力是创造力的灵魂，一个富于想象力的民族无疑也是富于创造力的民族。我们过分强调文章的道德教化作用，注重主题先行，将作文教学等同于思想政治课，偏离了作文教学的根本。

+ 加入清单说明文阅读是三大文体阅读中考点也不少，难度最浅的现代文阅读。但总观教学效果，并不是很理想。
教学设计都是由知识到技能，由浅入深。授课时先介绍说明文的文体知识，再开始技能训练。在讲评中修正学生的答题思路。在材料选择上，都是典型的说明文，文后考点都是相同的两个考点，一是概括说明内容，二是指出某段运用的说明方法及作用。教学设计及训练程序，看似不存在什么问题，可学生难以领会，原因在哪呢？
首先是学生对说明文的阅读量不大，还不能准确地把握说明文的特点，对说明对象的特点不能精确地把握。
其次是教师评讲过程中，不能抓住关键环节，特别是涉及到答案的细节积累。如某种考点的提示语，相同的句式，以及在文中的位置，甚至题后的分数的暗示作用，学生在答题技巧上积累不多，得到的答案就不够精确了。
另外，学生对说明文的名词术语理解不透，胡乱写答案。如问说明方法的，学生就不去辨别，不从说明方法的定义上去理解，想到什么就写什么，心中无底。
还有是说明文的练习量不够，以为简单就可以少训练，在学生记忆中没有形成“定势”，常常会与“议论文”相混淆。
基于以上情况，以后说明文阅读训练可作如下调整：
（一）多读一些典型的说明文，加强学生对说明文的感性认识。
（二）一节课只讲一个考点，强化学生对该考点的训练。
（三）让学生积累一些答题技巧。这些技巧知识可在训练前听写，以加深印象。
（四）训练形式要多样化，可尝试让学生自己出题作答，以增加趣味性。
（五）进行阶段专题测试，以便发现问题，及时修正。

I read the Chinese version of “Camille” a few years ago. At that time I was deeply moved by the main character Marguerite Gautier. “Camille” or “The Lady of the Camellias” by Alexandre Dumas, fils, is the story of Marguerite Gautier, a young courtesan, or kept woman, in Paris in the mid 1800s, and how she falls in love with a young man, Armand Duval, and then tries to escape from her questionable past. Unfortunately, it comes back to haunt her and she ends up returning to that life and dies painfully and alone, but with the knowledge that she was a noble woman at heart. When I first began to read the book, I did not care for Marguerite or her attitude or lifestyle, but as I got further into the narrative, I realized that her saucy attitude was a front to cover the lonely woman that she really was. She felt used, abused and unloved, until the gentle Armand Duval came into her life and showed her that he loved her as a person and not for what she could do for him. It must have taken great courage for Marguerite to leave the life she had lived for so long, knowing all along that it was probably too good to be true and would not last indefinitely. And it also showed that Marguerite really loved Armand Duval for she could even change herself for him.
However, happiness didn’t last for long. When M. Duval, Armands father, came to her, pleading for her to leave Armand to save both Armands reputation and that of his younger innocent sister, Marguerite saw a way to become pure of heart, if not in body. She felt that it was her duty, because she loved Armand so much, to do this even though it meant giving up her own happiness and hurting Armand temporarily. She reluctantly returned to her former life, knowing that some day Armand would forgive her. Sadly, she died in debt and basically alone, except for her one female friend, Julie Duprat, who helped her during her illness. She had her journal sent to Armand after her death, explaining why she had made the choices she had. I think Dumass last few lines about Marguerite being the exception, not the rule were quite true, and I also agreed with his view that while her lifestyle could not be condoned, we as a society assume that all of these type of women are cold and heartless, while this may not always be the case. A person can make the wrong choices in life when they are young, and try to redeem themselves, but sometimes past situations prevent them from changing their lives, even though they desperately wish to do so. This applies to both men and women in many different types of circumstances: involvement in crime; drug or alcohol abuse; gambling; prostitution; financial problems; poor marriage choices; etc. And this is the fact, which exists in the whole society.
As far as the other characters in the book, I think Marguerite was right in saying that no one truly cared about her, but only wanted something from her, the only exceptions being Armand and Julie Duprat. Of course, the Comte de G. and Comte de N. wanted her body and appearance. The Duke needed to “wake up and smell the coffee” and realize that she could never replace his dead daughter. If he truly cared, he could have helped her leave her lifestyle without “keeping” her himself. And lastly, Prudence was a blood-sucking leech who used Marguerite almost worse than the men. I also think she was jealous of the fact that Marguerite had so much more courage than herself and someone truly loved her.
