An unforgettable experience

My mom used to say that I was born to swim. But the truth is that I didn t know how to swim until the last year of my primary school!

Mom always said that I could swim in the basin when I was only two months old. I was surprised at the amazing fact. If this was true, then why was I afraid of water? I went to swim every summer, but I didn t make a little progress. I was worried and blamed myself several times. When I watched people swimming freely, how I wished I had learnt to swim!

不足之一：作文教学缺乏目的性

在平时的作文训练中，大多带有明显的随意性。先从作文题目的拟定说起，大多情况下，作文题目的拟定比较随意和盲目——要写作文了，才去找题目。而题目又往往从网上搜索或从往年做过的题目找，找到什么就写什么。这样的作文命题方式就造成了作文教学的盲目性。学校规定每两周要做一次作文，所以往往每周连堂的语文课就用来写作文，这样，只满足于作文的次数，根本不去管学生的作文水平提高多少或是会造成什么样的后果等等。一句话，作文教学没有方向性，没有设定明确又科学的目标。

通过上这节写作课，我感到习作指导课要取得成功，教师在教学设计中必须全面考虑到各种教学因素，才能产生好的教学效果。这节课中我觉得有几点做的比较到位

首先，在这节课，我通过让学生猜谜语，小鸭子图片，激起学生们的学习兴趣，学生积极发言。并教给学生写作方法，让学生有规律可循。

其次，通过本节课的学习，学生学会了按一定的顺序观察动物，那就是从头写到脚，先写小动物的头、身子、四肢和尾。在指名让学生完整的说小鸭子的可爱样子时，学生领会的非常好，综合了前面几个同学的优点，一下子抓住了小兔子的特点，并概括出了要按照一定的顺序写。

第三，生活习性方面的特点指导细致到位，，让学生知道从哪入手。教师出示下水文对学生是一种激励。

第四，师生评价，生生评价、修改有助于让孩子将作文写得更生动。让学生们拿出笔写写自己喜欢的小动物的外形，学生基本能把自己喜欢的小动物写的比较具体，能把小动物可爱的样子一一呈现出来，达到了预期的效果。

本课还存在一些不足之处：

1.在一些小的细节处理上不够合理，例如我问学生谁能完整的把小鸭子可爱的样子说说，我应该找几个好的孩子说一说，这样效果会更好。

2.教师语言组织比较琐碎，不够精炼，需要进一步改进提高，预设环节少，以至于有点前紧后松的感觉。

3.本单元的习作应该对学生有更高的要求。

4.给孩子留出一定的时间去写。

5.教师多用一点心思,就能创造出不同的课堂.

我会在今后的教学中不断地改进自己的不足，不断地提高自己。

[动物作文教学反思

第六次作文是写小制作，在指导学生习作前对孩子们上好它真的不报多大希望，作文教学反思。在我的印象中他们好像疏于动手，只在科学课上做过一次“风向标”，由于是课后完成，班级孩子没有几个做的，科学老师为此还批评了他们。

再就是前两天在科学课上老师和他们为了研究声音，一起做了一个“土电话”。这样一个动手实践后的作文，他们能完成好吗？我在心里反问自己。但无论如何作文指导课是要上的。记得那天上作文指导课时，我也并没有向往常是的指导很细致，只是让三四个同学说了说，你打算做什么？接着我就讲了一下本次作文的提纲。

分四段，第一段写为什么做这个小制作，第二段写准备工作，第三段重点写制作过程，最后写心情或劳动感言。在写的时候一定要借鉴《捞铁牛》一课的写法，用上表示先后顺序的词语。不到二十分钟就讲完了，害怕限制他们思路，也防止班级孩子都写一样的作文，这次我连范文都没有读。第二天孩子们交上来的作文内容虽然是五花八门：有做贺卡的，有用饮料瓶做东西的，有写做小秤的（这是我在课堂上提醒他们的如果不会做什么，就让家长和你一起做小秤，因为我们小时候都会做），有写做风向标的，有写做土电话的，有写做伸缩苍蝇拍的。

孩子们都把准备工作交代的很细，制作过程写得也很不错。没细致指导的作文居然也很成功，我窃喜。班中除了几个学生的作文要改，其余的只是个别语句不是很通顺，所以第二天我们就上作文本了。当天我就把第六次作文批完了。我就在想为什么孩子们的这次作文在我没有报多大希望的时候，却完成的这样的好。他们的认真是一方面，更主要的是我们在讲这一单元的文章时，尤其是讲《捞铁牛》文章时，我重点讲了准备工作的四部，并让学生讨论的为什么这四部不能调换的理由。

在接下来的第四段学生时又让学生用因果关联词语，说了当沙子减少时，所引起的一系列变化。正因为把课文这个例子讲好了，所以孩子们在作文时就自然而然的仿照这个例子了，原来关键是在这里呀。表面上看这次作文指导课只有一点时间，没有细致展开，但因在本单元学文时教师重视，所以单元学生学习效果就好。原来语文课文之间，尤其时文章和习作之间也有这样的联系呀。今天在我和孩子们身上终于得到很好的验证了。

观察是人们认识事物的起点，是迈向创新的第一步。如果学生对周围事物缺乏认识，硬要他们去表达，支反映则是不可能的。对学生来说认识世界的主要途径是观察。只有认真细致地观察，才能对事物有全面细致的了解，写出来的文章才会真实感人。如我教人教版小学五年级上册第三单元说明文时，学生写自己喜欢的一种水果时，我从培养学生的观察力下手，着重引导学生仔细观察水果的形状、颜色和大小，激发学生的观察兴趣，吸引学生积极参与，亲身实践，并懂得观察的重要性，学会观察的方法，养成仔细观察事物好习惯。

写作是运用语言文字进行表达和交流的重要方式，是认识世界、认识自我、进行创造性表述的过程。写作能力是语文素养的综合体现。写作教学应贴近学生实际，让学生易于动笔，乐于表达，应引导学生关注现实，热爱生活，表达真情实感。”大多学生作文时的所表现出的共性是“眼看着事物的形象，笔下却形容不出来。”所以在实际教学中，我们必须做到：

一、要浅化习作入门眼前闪烁

对于语文教师，特别是教启蒙作文的老师来说，切忌一开始就和学生讲述许多作文的理论、技法，这样会让学生感到枯燥而有压力，觉得自己根本写不出那样的作文而厌恶作文，丧失对作文的兴趣。习作入门课上，老师可以这样告诉学生：作文就是写你看到的、听到的、想到的；写你的快乐、你的忧愁；写一盆花、一棵草、一只小蚂蚁；写和同学做的小游戏；写考试得到100分；写你犯的错误??。必要的时候，教师可以现场示范，以自己的实际写作过程引导学生动笔，将自己的的身边时说出来。至于作文是什么，怎样才能写好作文，这些都需学生在长期的作文实践中慢慢去理解、体会。

二、练写观察日记，积累素材

学会观察事物，提高写作能力，从何入门呢？练写“观察日记”就是一种行之有效的方法，也是作文教学重要组成部分和不可缺少的一个重要环节。我们少年儿童热情敏感，充满活力，而丰富多彩的现实生活中，我们每天都能观察到许许多多的东西，如自然景物的状态，气候的千变万化，人物的音容笑貌，社会的各种现象等，而光观察不记录，那么有多少新鲜印象，有趣的事物、生动感人的场面难免会忘记，即便日后能回忆，也是朦胧的。所以，在教导学生养成观察习惯的同时，还要养成练写观察日记的好习惯。正如鲁迅先生所说：“必须如蜜蜂一样，采过许多花，这样才能酿出蜜来。”要提高学生的写作能力，就要提倡“观察教学，”特别是语文教师，在平时，要有意识引导学生去观察.在课堂上要经常指导学生练笔,使每个学生都能练出一双锐利的眼睛，学会观察事物，提高观察能力，养成观察事物的良好习惯。从而使生活周围的人和物烂熟于心，出口成章。

三、多做游戏，在玩中写，培养写作兴趣。

爱玩是孩子们的天性，用游戏的方法教孩子们写作十分有效，可以激发他们的想象力，提高兴趣，调动积极性和主动性，启发他们的创造性思维。将游戏融入到作文训练中，教学生玩中写作，写中再现玩趣，使作文成为最轻松平常的事。这样，学生有话可写，有情可抒，有感可发，再也不觉得作文是一件痛苦的事。

四、要引导学生积累

“读书破万卷，下笔如有神”、“不积跬步，无以致千里”，只有量的积累才有可能导致质的提升。没有大量的语言积累，学生是无法写好作文的。而小学生大多缺乏自觉性，只有不断的鼓励和督促，才能帮助他们积累语言，提高语言的储备量。可以布置学生每天摘抄好词好句，定期检查；可以课外向学生推荐一些名言、古诗词、儿童诗歌，要求他们熟读成诵，并学习运用；可以开展读书交流会、朗诵比赛、文学知识竞赛、成语接龙等有趣有益的活动。除了让学生多进行课外阅读积累词句之外，还应引导他们掌握更多的积累方法。比如从互联网上查阅资料，做实验，咨询别人等等。这样经过长期的积累和内化，学生写作的语言资料库不断丰富完善了，写作时遇到的障碍就会大大减少，作文兴趣也就更高了。

五、要写好作文批语

学生的作文是他们辛勤劳动的成果，因而强烈地期待得到老师的客观、公正、实事求是的评价——或热情地赞扬、鼓励，或诚心地帮助、指点。老师在作文批语中表现出的态度、情感、准确性直接影响学生的写作情绪和兴趣因此，老师对学生的作文要用赞赏的眼光去批改，并通过作文批语使学生得到知识上的满足，学习上的动力，心理上的平衡。

总而言之，作文教学中教师要注重培养学生的写作兴趣，激发学生爱作文的情感，同时，要培养学生勤于动笔的习惯，在生活中多积累一些素材，这样，学生就不会再视写作为难事，无话说可以变成有话说，不会写可以变成会写，用词干巴可以变成行文流畅，千篇一律可以变成百花齐放

Oceans becoming more acidicThe worlds oceans are slowly getting more acidic, say scientists.The researchers from California say the change is taking place in response to higher levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.The lowering of the waters pH value is not great at the moment but could pose a serious threat to current marine life if it continues, they warn.Ken Caldeira and Michael Wickett, from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, report their concerns in the journal Nature.Increasing use of fossil fuels means more carbon dioxide is going into the air, and most of it will eventually be absorbed by seawater.

Once in the water, it reacts to form carbonic acid.Scientists believe that the oceans have already become slightly more acidic over the last century.But these researchers have tried to predict what will happen in the future by combining what we know about the history of the oceans with computer models of climate change."This level of acidity will get much more extreme in the future if we continue releasing CO2 into the atmosphere," said Dr Caldeira."And we predicted amounts of future acidity that exceed anything we saw over the last several hundred million years, apart from perhaps after rare catastrophic events such as asteroid impacts."If carbon dioxide release continues unabated, ocean pH could be reduced by as much as 0.77 units, the authors warn.It is not absolutely clear what that means for marine life, however.

Most organisms live near the surface, where the greatest pH change would be expected to occur, but deep-ocean lifeforms may be more sensitive to pH changes.Coral reefs and other organisms whose skeletons or shells contain calcium carbonate may be particularly affected, the team speculate. They could find it much more difficult to build these structures in water with a lower pH.In recent years some people have suggested deliberately storing carbon dioxide from power stations in the deep ocean as a way of curbing global warming.But Dr Caldeira said that such a strategy should now be re-considered."Previously, most experts had looked at ocean absorption of carbon dioxide as a good thing - because in releasing CO2 into the atmosphere we warm the planet; and when CO2 is absorbed by the ocean, it reduces the amount of greenhouse warming.

本次英语考试以中考题型命题，加强对基础知识的考查，侧重考查学生综合运用语言的能力。命题材料贴近学生生活，难度适中。其中听力笔录要点和书面表达失分较多。我所教两个班级19班比20班在人平，及格率和优秀率方面稍高。

从本次考试所反映的现状来看，今后的教学中应注意：

1.加强单词听写和课文背诵的落实工作，多关注课文文本知识。

2.狠抓基础知识，加强写作训练。书面表达能客观地反映学生英语基础知识掌握情况，并且一直是学生的薄弱环节。

3.继续注重英语阅读教学。阅读理解在我们的各种测试中所占分值越来越大，而且选材也更趋广泛化。因此课堂教学中要侧重“篇章”，强调“含义”，将语篇教学贯穿于课文教学和阅读理解教学中，利用语篇教学扩大学生词汇量，增强语感，丰富文化知识，提高学生分析问题和解决问题的能力。

4.注重兴趣培养，慎防两极分化。从试卷分析中可以看出，每个学校都不同程度地出现了令人担忧的“两极分化”现象。初学阶段一定要注意激发培养学生的学习兴趣，关注学生的情感，营造宽松，民主、和谐的教学氛围，保护每个学生的自尊心和学习英语的积极性。只有这样，掉队的学生才会减少，也才可能大面积提高人平。

5.注重课堂“时效性 ”，在优化课堂组织教学、合理设计教学活动，加大训练强度和密度的基础上，注重因材施教、分层教学。既要使大多数学生掌握好基础的知识与技能，同时注重知识的扩展和规律性知识的总结与归纳，让好学生也能获得充分的发展。

6.加强听力训练，营造语言环境。课堂上一定要加强对学生的听力训练，坚持用英语组织教学，尽可能利用多种教学资源让学生接触地道的语音、语调，多听英、美人士的录音材料。

“写”在学生所必需要掌握的听、说、读、写、译五项基本技能中作为一项产出技能，不仅反映了学生所掌握的语言知识，也反映了他们的语言技能，可见其在中学英语教学中起到十分重要的作用。

第一，营造良好的英语写作氛围，培养学生的英语写作兴趣，使学生拥有一个良好的写作动机。在指导学生进行英文写作时，我没有很好的解决学生写作的动机。学习动机与学习兴趣是相辅相成的，只有不断地激发学生的学习兴趣，才能引导他们将兴趣转化为良好而稳定的学习动机。根据第一篇作文中所得到的反馈信息，我在第二次的写作任务中，将全班学生分为五个写作小组，让小组的成员在写作前进行交流，讨论作文的主题以及需要表达的主要内容等等，并且过后让小组成员阅读其他组员的作文，如此一来，不仅加强了同学们之间的合作与交流，也培养了学生们的写作热情及兴趣，学生们的写作动机也越来越明确。

第二，在课堂内外帮助学生丰富他们的知识。从反馈信息中可以看出学生的知识水平相当有限，这一问题主要表现在学生无法根据作文题目给出具体的信息，例如，题目为：Do you have a cold? Write about what you should and shouldn’t do.由于对生活的观察程度不同，一些学生在写作时，无法就题目所提出的问题给出具体的建议，而另外一些同学若是已经掌握了相关的主题知识则会感到有内容可写。可见，学生对于写作的主题知识的不熟悉，会导致了写作过程受到了影响，内容也难免显得空洞。为了提高学生的知识水平，在课内，我依据教材内容，对教材所涉及到的文化知识进行补充及拓展，在课外，我鼓励学生仔细观察生活中的点点滴滴，并且勤于阅读课外书籍，勤于实践，从书本中、社会生活中获得种种经验，用以指导以后的英语写作。

第三，在教学中实抓学生的写作基本技能。英语写作基本技能主要包括能正确使用标点符号，能够正确运用语法知识使文章语句通顺，能在文章中表达自己的观点和态度等。在学生们所写的作文中，写作技能较差主要表现在词汇较为缺乏、语法不正确、标点符号运用不正确等。其中，标点符号是英语写作中最基本的技能，但学生们却将中英文标点符号的用法弄混淆。许多学生喜欢用逗号来连接两个句子，而不是分号或连接词，这在汉语中是可行的，在英语中却违法了规则。

我认为在平时的教学中应该多加强调标点符号的用法，对于学生常出错的用法可以在课堂上为学生们进行分析并给予纠正。并且，学生在遣词造句中经常会按照汉语的方式去进行，这就是所谓的“中式英语”。老师在写作教学中，应当鼓励学生加强训练，练习造句，练习汉英互译，并且要勤于模范优秀的范文，这样才能加强学生的英语写作基本技能。

总之，我们在英语写作教学中应按照《英语课程标准》的要求，并结合学生的具体情况，在教学思路上求实创新，帮助学生养成良好的写作习惯和掌握有效的写作方法;培养学生的学习能力、观察能力以及想象能力;拓展学生的文化视野，不断提高学生的写作能力。
