According to a recent article on Newsweek concerning children’s’ education,

there is an increasing number of parents worrying their kids to an extreme

extent, depriving them of independence and freedom by keeping them around

parents all the time.

Some people applaud this phenomenon, suggesting that kids’ safety is the

most important. Thus, they’d better not enter the hazardous society without

supervision unless they become adults. From my point of view, some of their

opinion is correct but keeping children away from independence is a completely

erroneous decision. The reasons are as follows:

their parents, as their comprehensive skills such as communication skills or

and accidents aren’t on a rapid rise. It is the abuse of mass media that make

crimes and violence more scary. The parents, who love their kids so much, are

completely forced to live under the illusion that our society is full of riots

or threats of accidents. Thus, kids can be allowed to have more freedom such as

walking to school by himself, for instance.

From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw a conclusion that

kids should be given more freedom by parents’ effort. At the same time, parents

should take many factors into consideration such as the time restriction for

children and the evaluation to kids’ maturity and capability. Only then can they

enjoy a safe and meaningful childhood.

大家忙得不亦乐乎。时近中午，树差不多都植好了，我们望着自己亲手种植的树苗在微风中摇曳，心中有种说不出的喜悦之情。大家不禁畅谈起来：“几十年后它定会长成一棵参天大树。”、“我要每个星期都来看它。”……我的眼前仿佛浮现出树苗长大时的样子，仿佛闻到了一阵阵清新淡雅的桂花香，仿佛看到了一簇簇洁白的桂花，繁星点点，如一座喷花的飞泉，仿佛感受到它那蓬勃向上的旺盛生命力。

这次有意义的活动不仅放松了我们的心情，还使我们亲近了大自然，更让我们为家乡增添了一份绿意。这次活动真让我快乐！

很久很久以前，动物们在森林里快乐地生活着，大树尽情地沐浴在阳光下，郁郁葱葱的森林变成了动物们欢乐的游乐场。

过了几天，剩下的人类在沙尘暴中全部死去，地球上再也没有生命了。

My Father

There is always a brilliant image living in my heart. That is my dear father. Seen through the eyes of many other people, father seems to be a very ordinary person. But he is quite extraordinary in my eyes, I have never lost my wonder at his good-personalities such as diligence, devotion, care, optimism ever since my childhood.Being a farmer, father works very hard in the fields all the year round. He works from dawn till dusk every day and even till midnight when it is the harvest season. He seldom enjoys leisure with other farmers even if the farm work is not much. He chooses to live a busy life with reluctance to stop for a while.

Father devotes all himself to our family. As we are poor, he always tries his best to support our family and afford the tuitions for my brother and me. For the whole family, for brother and me, he never stops working laboriously in the fields throughout the year. Now he has got a wrinkled face and white hair because of excessive hard work, looking much older and weaker than any other person of his age. In spite of all this, father never complains to us. It is his full devotion that were living a better life now. It is his full devotion that both my brother and I are able to study at college.Father shows much care to us children and my mother as well. Whenever there is any delicious food on the table, he just leaves it to us while he takes the simple one himself. If my brother and I fall ill, he will not hesitate a moment to get some medicine for us or take us to see the doctor. My mother suffers a bad disease. Father looks after her very carefully. 春天的曲江公园，风景如画，一片片新绿的树林，一簇簇鲜艳的花朵，亭台楼阁，小桥流水，别有一番风趣，引来老年人的游玩，晨练，更为公园增添活力。这时一位植物指导员走来，笑眯眯地对我说：“我们马上去植树。”听到这些大家高兴的一蹦三尺高。

在植树指导员的带领下，我们绕过了小溪，走过了小桥，来到了一片未开垦的农田里，一条清澈的小溪穿流而过，可真是植树的好地方呀！

指导员门用树枝在地上画了一个圈，那就是我们植树的范围。地方选好了，可以挖坑了。说起挖坑，大家都争先恐后地嚷着要挖，经过大家七嘴八舌的争论后，大家一致同意由大力神吴浩来挖，只见他拿过一把大铲子，重重向地上一个猛插，再用脚一蹬，狠很一刨，一些土被刨了出来。大家高兴极了，就这样他一连挖了两三下。突然吴浩的脸色一沉，脸都涨红了，手颤动了几下，怎么挖夜也挖不起来。暴性子徐浩文推开吴浩，一把拿过铲子，猛虎下山的硬砸向了那个洞，只听咚得一声，冒出了火花。只听见咚得一声，冒出了火花。只见徐浩文的手都发麻了，像一个泄了气的皮球，唉！又失败了，智多星居伟眼睛一闪，用小铲子把上面的一层土挖下去，原来有一块大红砖正深深地埋在土中，居伟用铲子把旁边的土挖松了许多，大力神用手摇了两下，再一拔，顽固的砖头终于拔了出来，大家高兴的手舞足蹈，我们松了一口气，初中二年级作文《我们班的植树节作文》。

挖土可是用力气，但放树苗是技术含量较高的活，沈保民便跑向坑去，用手把树种了下来并且扶正，居伟又后退了几步说：“再向右一点，停下停下再向左一点。”一旁的吴浩说：“树歪一点没有关系。”居伟解释道；“根不正，苗也会歪的。”经过几翻调整树扶正了。

种树虽然不是容易之事，但培土也不是好干的，吴浩刚要将大泥块放进，就被细心的屠悦拦住了，只见她用手将泥块放在手里揉一揉，捏一捏，将那泥快揉成了细土，埋了进去，当埋到一半时便用大泥块埋了起来，又在外围堆了一个碗形。

比起培土来浇水再容易不过了，性急的我赶紧用桶打了一桶水，就要浇。又被屠悦拦住了，只见她用手捧起水洒了上去，水都被树吸收了。树种完了，看着那挺拔的树苗心中不禁欢喜起来。

时间很快就过去了，我们这才依依不舍地离去，只见那排排挺立着的树苗为那光秃秃的农田添上新绿，也许再过几年那里会是一片绿树成荫的树林，我们种的那棵树也将会成为一棵参天大树。那也会是老年人快乐的乐园！我们的忙碌也是值的。
