I have a good friend, and her name is Lucy. We have known each other for

more than five years. When I am in trouble, she will be the first one to give me

A boy lives near my house and I never know his name. Every day, he will

bring some food to the homeless dogs and cats. Sometimes when I am passing

There was once a little boy that wanted to be a good captain, but he knew

that he was too poor to do that. So he made up a plan to go a world called

Penny. It was a funny name but he didn’t mind. He also thought that his family

wouldn’t let him to go on such a long trip, for Penny that world was a

hundred100 miles more away. It was a very, very long journey for a boy only 10

years old to do.

He insisted that he would go away on a night when nobody could find him, so

he set off on a day in March, 1981. He got his purse, starting his journey with

bare feet. On his way, he met a little girl wishing so much for money. He picked

up his purse, but found out that he had but only a little bit of copper coins,

which was not enough for her.

He stopped a while for about 10 days to find a job to earn money. He was

always kind, and was willing to help others when they were in need. At last he

got 100 cents which were 100 silver coins, then he sent the little girl the

coins wealthily. However, he still kept the copper coins in emergencies.

After two more days of journey, he arrived at a place where it was icy and

cold. He knew that he couldn’t make it to Penny in time, so he made a

comfortable shelter to stay in until spring. He started off in 1982. When he at

last reached Penny, he found a good job, and paid it off with the copper

coins.

He preferred the money to his whole family. He got $100 for the kind people

who helped him when he was in trouble as a return. It was good that nobody ever

questioned him where he was that whole time when he went back; but he was still

glad that he could help his family. When he recovered, he felt a little bit sad,

and lay down. The next morning when his parents came into his recovering house

to take him home to rest, they found his two hands clasped on his white covered

sheet bed, as if he had been dead.

His parents were shocked; they knew that it was the boy’s last sleep, they

cried bitterly all night long, while there was still a smile on the hero’s

face.

A year has slipped away from our laughter between our eyes, and we should say goodbye to you. Although we only wanted to work for a short year, you left me a deeper impression than the foreign teacher who taught me for five years.

I used to think that Chinese class is a boring thing, but since I know you, I like Chinese class.

First of all, I think you love to encourage classmates. When I answer questions in class, if the answer is right, you will look at me with happy eyes and ask me to make persistent efforts. If I got it wrong, you encouraged me with a gentle voice and spoke to the whole class about my problem. Whether I am right or wrong, I feel happy.

Secondly, I think you are very earnest and meticulous in doing things. For example, when we borrowed arrows from the grass boat, you not only let us learn the surface meaning, but also took us to study the text deeply. Many people like music. It has many sorts: soft music is graceful, rock

music fast, classical music GREat, light music relaxing, and children, music

interesting.

You can pick and choose whatever you like. Now popular songs are in

fashion. If you like music, you usually like singing, too. I am no

exception.

My brother and I like pop songs, and my parents like to listen to soft

music. We are a musical family. Do you like music? Is your family full of music,

too? Music is really GREat! I like it very much.

As the saying that an apple a day, keeps the doctor away, so apple is good

for our health. My mother always puts apple on the table, but I dont eat it a

lot. Now I realize the nutrition of apple, so I start to eat an apple every day.

My idol in my heart is liu xiang. He is the world famous athlete. In all

kinds of game， he has won 50 gold MEDALS， 13 silver and 6 bronze MEDALS.

In the 2004 Athens Olympic Games， he won the mens 110 m hurdles hurdles

world champions at a stroke， become the pride of Chinese people， but also the

pride of Asia.

Because of hard training and competition， liu xiang has left a lot of

injuries， especially tendon injury is serious. In 2008 the Olympic Games， liu

xiang as pain failed to enter the finals， I regret to quit.

He to the United States after treatment， and participated in many

international and domestic competition， repeatedly won the champion， second，

third， also broke the records.

This years London Olympic Games， liu xiang took part in the game again，

sadly he injured in the preliminaries and fell， but he stubbornly stood up， with

I am in real life， whenever encounter difficulties to retreat， the thought

of liu xiang， the tenacious spirit， will inspire me to go to overcome. So， he is

my idol in my heart.

In the Northern Street of Paris, there sat an old man with white hair and a

Although this noble man which we are talking about helped the old man, but

he also remembered what the other people did. People asked him many other

questions, and the noble man of course answered them all. Some of the people in

town that didn’t want to help the blinded old man were locked up in jail for

their cruelty instead of kindness.

The moral of this story is, when you see somebody that is in need, go and

help them and you will feel better in the end.

On Sunday morning, I and ching-ching, clearly three good friends go to

outdoor outing, we passed through the stream, and the woods, we play a fun game:

“Mom, I want to be a pirate one day, and find treasures in buried islands

just being a regular boy like usual…”

His mother laughed so very hard, “Then why don’t you ask the sorcerer of

the wicked castle?” his mother suddenly added, “What do you mean of: Wicked?”

“Well,” replied her mother, “It all happened in…” “Wait!” shouted Jack, “There

is no time for you to explain the whole thing, if you could show me this ‘Wicked

castle’ then I could be a pirate sooner or later.

And so his mother showed him a riddle clue, which had many words written on

it, “All you have to do is answer the riddles and you will arrive at your

destination;” so Jack took the map, and head out for the wicked castle

immediately, “Now let us see, two choices to make; which one is it that I need

to take?” then he suddenly felt a little twinkle among his eyes, he looked at

the map; “That’s it!” he opened the map and placed it upon him. “Now, I just

need to figure this one out.”

He read it out loud, “Choose the path that has round hard things the most…”

then he thought about it, he looked at each side; first, he checked the left;

“There is nothing very hard on this side, or even round!” the he checked the

other side, known as the right; “Look, there is a pile of rocks here, they are

very hard; and round, and there are plenty of them!”

He walked to the right, and then he went straight on. At last he came to a

big castle, it has many traps; and so Jack decided to use the map and find clues

so that he won’t get lost…

He first came to the front door, and then he opened the map, read the

riddle; “Watch out for the monster, with two pairs of wings; and come in the

spring, it is giant, I warn you…” then he answered, “The only flying thing that

has two pairs of wings is a dragon fly!” when he said “Dragonfly”

d-r-a-g-o-n-f-l-y; a giant dragonfly flew past his eyes!

“Whoa!” shouted Jack, he then read the riddle, “look around you; use the

one, as sharp as a knife;” Jack looked around himself, then he found a big sharp

needle; it was huge! He used all his might and picked it up, and then he sprang

it to the monster. The monster fell down immediately, as if dead.

Then Jack had beaten the giant ‘Dragonfly’d-r-a-g-o-n-f-l-y, he was ready

to see the sorcerer. He was casting a spell when Jack came in, he interrupted

him; and so the sorcerer shouted, “What are you doing stranger?” he asked, “Can

you make me a pirate?” “What! Nobody has ever done that spell before;

never!”

And so Jack had to keep on being a normal boy, he was satisfied sometimes,

but also was glad that he didn’t turn into a pirate. “The map is ‘the only

magical thing’ in this world…

Last week we did a survey about good places in our city. This is what we

learned. Most of high school are great. No.10 high school is the best of all. It

has the best teachers and it is the most beautiful. People’s hospital is the

best hospital in town. It has the most comfortable seat and the friendliest

service. Modern Cinema is better than any other movie theater. It has the

biggest screens. Xiwang Clothing Store is the most popular in our town and has

the best quality clothes. Hefei 168 FM is the best radio station. It has the

most news and the most interesting music. I hope our city can get better and

better.

My school is very beautiful. It is in Guicheng, near the Qiandeng Lake. Do

you know it? It is Nanhai Experimental Primary School. I like my school very

much.

There is a big playground in my school. We have P.E. class on the

playground and we often play sports on it , too. Our teaching building has five

floors. My classroom is on the fifth floor. It is big and clean. The computer

rooms are on the third floor. There is a library on the second floor. There are

many books in the library. I often read books here. There are some music rooms

and art rooms in the teaching building, too.

The teachers in my school are very kind . The students are very polite and

smart. I am happy in my school.

Since I went to school, my teachers always take Lei Feng as the example.

They want us to be a nice person as this great person. Lei Feng likes to help

people, and he will do everything for them. The sad thing is that he died at the

early age, but his spirit will be remembered all the time. He is my hero and
