看到了一幅漫画，使我心潮腾涌，久久不能平静。漫画的主要内容是这样的：一个有着榆木脑袋的的伐木工人在无情地砍伐树木，一个森林卫士——啄木鸟出现了，它看见这个人在毁坏它们的家园，它看到这个人脑袋里的贪婪虫、欲望虫、金钱虫、利益虫……它不停地琢着那个人的脑袋，“这段木头里一定有虫……”它一直啄着，直到那个人离开。
看完这幅漫画，在哈哈大笑的同时，我进一步思考到，这不就是在讥讽我们身边那些只顾个人利益，不珍惜资源，不保护环境的那些人吗？

Concerned people have made some proGREss in environmental protection. Governments of many countries have established laws to protect the air, forests and sea resources and to stop environmental pollution.
Still more measures should be taken to solve environmental problems. People should be further educated to recognize the importance of the problems, to use modern methods of birth control, to conserve(保存） our natural resources and recycle（再循环） our products. We are sure that we can have a better and cleaner place in the future.

人们都说，保护环境，人人有责。可是近几年来，人们处处扔乱扔乱放垃圾，地球的每个角落都充满垃圾的气息，环境也越来越恶劣：大片的森林被砍伐，碧绿的青山变成戈壁，美丽的草原成荒漠，清澈的河水成浊流。树木少了，青山秃了，草原荒了，清水黑了，使人们生存的环境变得一来一恶劣，蓝天混沌，空气污浊，生活的环境被许多有害的东西所“侵占”，病毒就趁机钻进人们的体内，人类常常被一些不知名的疾病所威胁。
人类有时是在不自觉的伤害着自己，当你走在大街上，如果随便吐一口口痰，你知道会是什么结果吗？一口痰含有几十万个病菌，当太阳晒着时就会大量繁殖，迅速传播。如果你有病就会把病菌传给别人，如果别人有病也会把病菌传给你。同样，当你砍伐一棵树，当你踏平一片绿草，当你把脏物倒进河流，你难道没有感觉到这是在破坏环境，伤害自己吗？
保护环境，人人有责！但最关键的还是要唤起人们的环保意识。现在我们的大多数人都有了一定的环保意识，也能注意保护环境，但破坏环境的行为还在某些人身上重演。希望大家都能保护环境，从我做起，从小事做起，养成良好的习惯，不随地乱扔垃圾，见到垃圾弯腰拣一拣，见到别人乱在地上吐痰说一下，对我们身边的小草，树木多一些关爱，那么，我们的环境就会更美丽，我们的生活就会变得更加和谐。

小时候，长辈们总是经常跟我讲起他们小时候在小河里戏水玩耍时的情景。那时候，绿水如带，清澈见底，口渴时随手捧起就能喝一口。树木葱葱郁郁的，野花和嫩草，山山洼洼，坡坡岗岗，一片生机勃勃。天空明净湛蓝，新鲜、轻盈的空气像波浪一样摇荡着，滚动着。
现在，看不见清澈见底的湖水，只看见浑浊不清的被严重污染的湖水。看不到树木葱郁，树木成林，只看到一座座高楼大夏，工厂拔地而起。看不见天空明净湛蓝，只看见天空一片浑浊，乌黑瘴气。吸不到新鲜的空气。而这些都是由于我们人类所造成的，我的心一直很内疚，我们人累为了自己的利益，，竟制造更多的塑料品。这些塑料品是用地底下用了几千万才能形成的石油制成的，浪费许多地球的起源。有时候，我在想：如果我们人类再不好好地爱护地球，地球会不会消失呢。人类为了赚钱，竟在地球上建造更多的工厂。这些工厂排出来的废气，在大气层中形成了一件“塑料衣”。这就是导致全球暖化的原因的其中之一。
