学校举行了垃圾分类，在小区的门口也放了很多垃圾桶。

我还是发现很多人把铁棍子扔进“不可回收”垃圾桶里，学校门口的垃圾桶，分别是：不可回收垃圾桶、可回收垃圾桶、其它垃圾等等。

在家里，为了不让妈妈整理辛苦，所以，我把用过的纸巾都扔进了垃圾桶的“嘴巴”里，不

What Can We Do for the Environment

our environment is becoming worse and worse，what can we do for the environment?I think each of us can do a little bit to help with this problem.

The first thing we can do is to use cloth bags instead of plastic bags when we go shopping. It helps to protect the environment. The second thing we can do is to reuse the old textbooks as possible as we can. We should also never forget to turn off the lights when we leave the classrooms in order to save energy. Nowadays, peoples life has changed a lot with the development of modern technology and economy, which has put lots of negative effects on the environment.

Why this? Because, firstly, some factories are pouring wastes into rivers, lakes, seas and so forth; secondly, because of human activities, a great number of plants and animals are losing their lives; thirdly, using modern machines and chemicals is bad for the environment. Besides these, there are a lot of human activities which have done or are doing harm to our surroundings.
