In my opinion, two of the most critical causes of this waste material problem are the increased consumption and a shortage of space for landfill.

To begin with, modern lifestyle has contributed greatly to the increasing amount of waste and garbage we produce everyday. In other words, we have turned into a materialistic and mass-consumption society where we use more and throw away more than ever before. To solve this intractable problem, every citizen needs to participate in producing less garbage. 放学了，我走路回家，一边走一边看到周围的马路上都有一些塑料袋，饭盒，喝完的饮料罐……我不由得感叹：电视上整天在播：“保护环境人人有责”，可是，为什么人们根本没有听进去呢？难道还没有意识到环境的恶劣吗？我正想着，一辆飞快的汽车飞驰而过，留下了一阵浓浓的黑烟，我连忙捂住鼻子，咳嗽了几声，唉，要是每天都要在黑烟下度过，不就被熏死了吗？现在科技发达，马路上大都是汽车，为了方便出行，都买了车，这日子怎么过啊？

我想了想，不能让环境继续恶劣下去，我要借这次的作文大赛，呼吁人们，也提醒人们，更要想出解决的方法。首先是塑料袋，虽说现在大商场都用环保袋，但其实顾客没有带环保袋时，一样可以提供塑料袋给客人，我认为，这种做法非常不对，如果顾客没有带环保袋，那就由商场来提供环保袋，除了大商场，餐饮行业更需要用塑料袋、塑料饭盒还有一次性筷子，对于这个，我有一个提议，可以把塑料袋也换成环保袋，塑料饭盒可以换成胶饭盒，一次性筷子换成家里用的那种筷子，因为塑料袋不仅仅污染环境，重要的是，它非常容易破，环保袋而且可以循环再用，塑料饭盒换成胶饭盒这样里面要是装了酱油或者汁又不会轻易漏出来，而且也可以循环再用，还能环保，一次性筷子用掉一次就要丢掉，实在太浪费了，家里的筷子恰恰相反，我家的筷子就用了10多年了，一双筷子用不了多少钱，洗一洗又可以用了，既省成本又环保，多好啊！

除了白色污染，还应该提醒人们多植树，净化空气，还有，现在的工厂排出一些污水一样污染环境，要珍惜水资源。我提议让工厂都加上一个污水处理站，把污水处理掉，不要把污水排出来。

人们，希望20年后的家乡不是一座废墟，请大家保护环境，不然现在美好的生活就永远不复存在了。

三月是学习雷锋月，学校组织我们班去“红领巾”路捡垃圾，大家不要笑哦，虽然捡垃圾是一件不起眼的小事，但是那可是保护我们的大环境啊！

小鱼对小鸟说：“你知道吗?我们这个小水池已经死了十几条鱼了!”，小鸟说”对呀!这里的空气一点儿也不清新，都要把我闷死了!”。

树木们在森林里谈到：“现在的生活很危险，要不就是被一些顽皮的孩子把树枝弄弯;要不就是被人们砍伐掉。总之就是不好过。”

爬行动物们也说：“哎!我们的日子也难过呀，就怕被人们吃了，或被关进动物园里，或被放进马戏团里表演节目。这真是一个可怕的世界呀!”

我们这些不文明习惯不光会对植物、动物不好，对自己也没什么好处。有些人就是因为空气污染而死亡的，有些人因为水污染而得病，还有的妈妈生下来的孩子就是畸形的，还有一些男人吸烟把树木点燃，还引发大火，森林被烧毁、生态被破坏。就这样，地球慢慢变成了宇宙中的垃圾堆。

地球是我们生存的家园，破坏地球环境，就是破坏我们人类自己。所以，我们人类要保护环境。保护环境，我们小孩要从小事做起，把垃圾丢到垃圾箱里，还要把他送到正确的箱子里。希望每个人都少坐汽车，多骑自行车，倡导绿色出行。节约用水，减少浪费。让地球妈妈的病渐渐好起来。让天更蓝、水更清、草更绿、花更艳。变成最美好的地球!

水里的小鱼也慢慢多了，森林里的树木也旺盛起来了，动物们也有一个幸福的家园了!这应该才是我们美丽的家园，把原来的坏习惯改了，保护环境。
