Before that, Andy had told his best friend Red that his dream---Zihuatanejo, a warm place without memory. After escaping, Andy lived a free life in another identity and made the prison governor arrested. Several years later, Red was approved to leave. for the promise to Andy. Finally, in Zihuyatanejo, they met.

The cruel prison life terrified me and the friendship moved me. The story goes to a happy ending---redemption. This film impressed me a lot. A sentence was said in the film: ’Some birds aren"t meant to be caged, but most birds will choose to stand it.’

In this film, as we can see, the Shawshank Prison, which enjails lots of people. They have been in the prison form many years ,so they won’t go abroad. Because they won’t and also they can’t. They lived here for years without hope, and they lived just in the small prison, where nobody knows what is their dream and what’s their hope. As I remember, a old man Brooks was released after he had been in the jail for 50 years. But he found that the world became completely different from the world he imagined. For example, he seldom see cars before. He felt very strange and helpless to the outside world He can hardly adapt to the new developed world. He would rather stay in the prison. So unfortunately he chose to commit suicide.

This film, Shawshank Redemption, teaches me a lot. It deserves to be one of the most overwhelming films in the Hollywood.

I watched Hachiko: A Dog’s Story days ago, eyes filling with tear. It’s really a fantasticly moving film.

The plot went as: A college professor (Richard Gere) took in an abandoned dog and they formed an unbreakable bond. The dog arrived daily at the correct time at the station, to meet his owner. After the professor died while away from home, the dog kept vigil waiting for his master for nearly a decade.

To wait for your love for a decade, which contains almost the whole life-time of Hachi, it’s an incredible dedication that we human beings never has. This is why the film strikes us a lot.

No one has the ability to show his love to only one person during his whole life, let alone make friends with only one people; have the food that never changes year by year; do the same damn thing without complaining and conciousness of exhaustion. We can’t! However, what we could learn from Hachi is that we should never forget the one we once loved.

A detail in the movie catches my eyes. One day when professor was on his way to school, Hachi fetched the tennis ball as he was taught years ago. But during the last several years, he never did like that, because to fetch a ball in this way is not his instinct. Why Hachi did so? He wants to entertain his master for more palatable food, for a hug? I’m afraid not.

Research and statistics prove that pets are more sensitive in human’s potantial deseases than us do. Hachi fetched that ball because he knew that his master is going to die because of his heart desease. It’s his only way to hold him back.

Hachi has been waiting in the weeds, waiting for his only fellow to walk him home. His hope has been floating in the breeze, carrying his loneliness and misery all above the ground. Maybe professor knows, but he could never come back.

从前有一个小女孩——一个非常可爱的、漂亮的小女孩。不过她夏天得打着一双赤脚走路，因为她很贫穷。冬天她拖着一双沉重的木鞋，脚背都给磨红了，这是很不好受的。

在村子的正中央住着一个年老的女鞋匠。她用旧红布匹，坐下来尽她最大的努力缝出了一双小鞋。这双鞋的样子相当笨，但是她的用意很好，因为这双鞋是为这个小女孩缝的。这个小姑娘名叫珈伦。

在她的妈妈入葬的那天，她得到了这双红鞋。这是她第一次穿。的确，这不是服丧时穿的东西;但是她却没有别的鞋子穿。所以她就把一双小赤脚伸进去，跟在一个简陋的棺材后面走。

这时候忽然有一辆很大的旧车子开过来了。车子里坐着一位年老的太太。她看到了这位小姑娘，非常可怜她，于是就对牧师(注：在旧时的欧洲，孤儿没有家，就由当地的牧师照管。)说：“把这小姑娘交给我吧，我会待她很好的!”

珈伦以为这是因为她那双红鞋的缘故。不过老太太说红鞋很讨厌，所以把这双鞋烧掉了。不过现在珈伦却穿起干净整齐的衣服来。她学着读书和做针线，别人都说她很可爱。不过她的镜子说：“你不但可爱;你简直是美丽。”

有一次皇后旅行全国;她带着她的小女儿一道，而这就是一个公主。老百姓都拥到宫殿门口来看，珈伦也在他们中间。那位小公主穿着美丽的白衣服，站在窗子里面，让大家来看她。她既没有拖着后裾，也没有戴上金王冠，但是她穿着一双华丽的红鞣皮鞋。比起那个女鞋匠为小珈伦做的那双鞋来，这双鞋当然是漂亮得多。世界上没有什么东西能跟红鞋比较!

现在珈伦已经很大，可以受坚信礼了。她将会有新衣服穿;她也会穿到新鞋子。城里一个富有的鞋匠把她的小脚量了一下——这件事是在他自己店里、在他自己的一个小房间里做的。那儿有许多大玻璃架子，里面陈列着许多整齐的鞋子和擦得发亮的靴子。这全都很漂亮，不过那位老太太的眼睛看不清楚，所以不感到兴趣。在这许多鞋子之中有一双红鞋;它跟公主所穿的那双一模一样。它们是多么美丽啊!鞋匠说这双鞋是为一位伯爵的小姐做的，但是它们不太合她的脚。

“那一定是漆皮做的，”老太太说，“因此才这样发亮!”

“是的，发亮!”珈伦说。

鞋子很合她的脚，所以她就买下来了。不过老太太不知道那是红色的，因为她决不会让珈伦穿着一双红鞋去受坚信礼。但是珈伦却去了。

所有的人都在望着她的那双脚。当她在教堂里走向那个圣诗歌唱班门口的时候，她就觉得好像那些墓石上的雕像，那些戴着硬领和穿着黑长袍的牧师，以及他们的太太的画像都在盯着她的一双红鞋。牧师把手搁在她的头上，讲着神圣的洗礼、她与上帝的誓约以及当一个基督徒的责任，正在这时候，她心中只想着她的这双鞋。风琴奏出庄严的音乐来，孩子们的悦耳的声音唱着圣诗，那个年老的圣诗队长也在唱，但是珈伦只想着她的红鞋。

那天下午老太太听大家说那双鞋是红的。于是她就说，这未免太胡闹了，太不成体统了。她还说，从此以后，珈伦再到教堂去，必须穿着黑鞋子，即使是旧的也没有关系。

下一个星期日要举行圣餐。珈伦看了看那双黑鞋，又看了看那双红鞋——再一次又看了看红鞋，最后决定还是穿上那双红鞋。

太阳照耀得非常美丽。珈伦和老太太在田野的小径上走。路上有些灰尘。

教堂门口有一个残废的老兵，拄着一根拐杖站着。他留着一把很奇怪的长胡子。这胡子与其说是白的，还不如说是红的——因为它本来就是红的。他把腰几乎弯到地上去了;他回老太太说，他可不可以擦擦她鞋子上的灰尘。珈伦也把她的小脚伸出来。

“这是多么漂亮的舞鞋啊!”老兵说，“你在跳舞的时候穿它最合适!”于是他就用手在鞋底上敲了几下。老太太送了几个银毫给这兵士，然后便带着珈伦走进教堂里去了。

教堂里所有的人都望着珈伦的这双红鞋，所有的画像也都在望着它们。当珈伦跪在圣餐台面前、嘴里衔着金圣餐杯的时候，她只想着她的红鞋——它们似乎是浮在她面前的圣餐杯里。她忘记了唱圣诗;她忘记了念祷告。

现在大家都走出了教堂。老太太走进她的车子里去，珈伦也抬起脚踏进车子里去。这时站在旁边的那个老兵说：“多么美丽的舞鞋啊!”

珈伦经不起这番赞美：她要跳几个步子。她一开始，一双腿就不停地跳起来。这双鞋好像控制住了她的腿似的。她绕着教堂的一角跳——她没有办法停下来。车夫不得不跟在她后面跑，把她抓住，抱进车子里去。不过她的一双脚仍在跳，结果她猛烈地踢到那位好心肠的太太身上去了。最后他们脱下她的鞋子;这样，她的腿才算安静下来。

这双鞋子被放在家里的一个橱柜里，但是珈伦忍不住要去看看。

现在老太太病得躺下来了;大家都说她大概是不会好了。她得有人看护和照料，但这种工作不应该是别人而应该是由珈伦做的。不过这时城里有一个盛大的舞会，珈伦也被请去了。她望了望这位好不了的老太太，又瞧了瞧那双红鞋——她觉得瞧瞧也没有什么害处。她穿上了这双鞋——穿穿也没有什么害处。不过这么一来，她就去参加舞会了，而且开始跳起舞来。

但是当她要向右转的时候，鞋子却向左边跳。当她想要向上走的时候，鞋子却要向下跳，要走下楼梯，一直走到街上，走出城门。她舞着，而且不得不舞，一直舞到黑森林里去。

树林中有一道光。她想这一定是月亮了，因为她看到一个面孔。不过这是那个有红胡子的老兵。他在坐着，点着头，同时说：“多么美丽的舞鞋啊!”

这时她就害怕起来，想把这双红鞋扔掉。但是它们扣得很紧。于是她扯着她的袜子，但是鞋已经生到她脚上去了。她跳起舞来，而且不得不跳到田野和草原上去，在雨里跳，在太阳里也跳，在夜里跳，在白天也跳。最可怕的是在夜里跳。她跳到一个教堂的墓地里去，不过那儿的死者并不跳舞：他们有比跳舞还要好的事情要做。她想在一个长满了苦艾菊的穷人的坟上坐下来，不过她静不下来，也没有办法休息。当她跳到教堂敞着的大门口的时候，她看到一位穿白长袍的安琪儿。她的翅膀从肩上一直拖到脚下，她的面孔是庄严而沉着，手中拿着一把明晃晃的剑。

“你得跳舞呀!”她说，“穿着你的红鞋跳舞，一直跳到你发白和发冷，一直跳到你的身体干缩成为一架骸骨。你要从这家门口跳到那家门口。你要到一些骄傲自大的孩子们住着的地方去敲门，好叫他们听到你，怕你!你要跳舞，不停地跳舞!”

“请饶了我吧!”珈伦叫起来。

不过她没有听到安琪儿的回答，因为这双鞋把她带出门，到田野上去了，带到大路上和小路上去了。她得不停地跳舞。有一天早晨她跳过一个很熟识的门口。里面有唱圣诗的声音，人们抬出一口棺材，上面装饰着花朵。这时她才知道那个老太太已经死了。于是她觉得她已经被大家遗弃，被上帝的安琪儿责罚。

她跳着舞，她不得不跳着舞——在漆黑的夜里跳着舞。这双鞋带着她走过荆棘的野蔷薇;这些东西把她刺得流血。她在荒地上跳，一直跳到一个孤零零的小屋子面前去。她知道这儿住着一个刽子手。她用手指在玻璃窗上敲了一下，同时说：“请出来吧!请出来吧!我进来不了呀，因为我在跳舞!”

刽子手说：“你也许不知道我是谁吧?我就是砍掉坏人脑袋的人呀。我已经感觉到我的斧子在颤动!”

“请不要砍掉我的头吧，”珈伦说，“因为如果你这样做，那么我就不能忏悔我的罪过了。但是请你把我这双穿着红鞋的脚砍掉吧!”

于是她就说出了她的罪过。刽子手把她那双穿着红鞋的脚砍掉。不过这双鞋带着她的小脚跳到田野上，一直跳到*?黑的森林里去了。

他为她配了一双木脚和一根拐杖，同时教给她一首死囚们常常唱的圣诗。她吻了一下那只握着斧子的手，然后就向荒地上走去。

“我为这双红鞋已经吃了不少的苦头，”她说，“现在我要到教堂里去，好让人们看看我。”

于是她就很快地向教堂的大门走去，但是当她走到那儿的时候，那双红鞋就在她面前跳着舞，弄得她害怕起来。所以她就走回来。

她悲哀地过了整整一个星期，流了许多伤心的眼泪。不过当星期日到来的时候，她说：“唉，我受苦和斗争已经够久了!我想我现在跟教堂里那些昂着头的人没有什么两样!”

于是她就大胆地走出去。但是当她刚刚走到教堂门口的时候，她又看到那双红鞋在她面前跳舞：这时她害怕起来，马上往回走，同时虔诚地忏悔她的罪过。

她走到牧师的家里去，请求在他家当一个佣人。她愿意勤恳地工作，尽她的力量做事。

她不计较工资;她只是希望有一个住处，跟好人在一起。牧师的太太怜悯她，把她留下来做活。她是很勤快和用心思的。晚间，当牧师在高声地朗读《圣经》的时候，她就静静地坐下来听。这家的孩子都喜欢她。不过当他们谈到衣服、排场利像皇后那样的美丽的时候，她就摇摇头。

第二个星期天，一家人全到教堂去做礼拜。他们问她是不是也愿意去。她满眼含着泪珠，凄惨地把她的拐杖望了一下。于是这家人就去听上帝的训诫了。只有她孤独地回到她的小房间里去。这儿不太宽，只能放一张床和一张椅子。她拿着一本圣诗集坐在这儿，用一颗虔诚的心来读里面的字句。风儿把教堂的风琴声向她吹来。她抬起被眼泪润湿了的脸，说：“上帝啊，请帮助我!”

这时太阳在光明地照着。一位穿白衣服的安琪儿——她一天晚上在教堂门口见到过的那位安琪儿——在她面前出现了。不过她手中不再是拿着那把锐利的剑，而是拿着一根开满了玫瑰花的绿枝。她用它触了一下天花板，于是天花板就升得很高。凡是她所触到的地方，就有一颗明亮的金星出现。她把墙触了一下，于是墙就分开。这时她就看到那架奏着音乐的风琴和绘着牧师及牧师太太的一些古老画像。做礼拜的人都坐在很讲究的席位上，唱着圣诗集里的诗。如果说这不是教堂自动来到这个狭小房间里的可怜的女孩面前，那就是她已经到了教堂里面去。她和牧师家里的人一同坐在席位上。当他们念完了圣诗、抬起头来看的时候，他们就点点头，说：“对了，珈伦，你也到这儿来了!”

“我得到了宽恕!”她说。

风琴奏着音乐。孩子们的合唱是非常好听和可爱的。明朗的太阳光温暖地从窗子那儿射到珈伦坐的席位上来。她的心充满了那么多的阳光、和平和快乐，弄得后来爆裂了。她的灵魂飘在太阳的光线上飞进天国。谁也没有再问她的那双红鞋。

翻开《安徒生童话》，我被书中精彩的故事所深深吸引。其中最让我难忘的是《丑小鸭》一文。

丑小鸭原是一个不知来历、被遗忘在一棵牛蒡底下的天鹅蛋，一只母鸭把他当作一只鸭蛋孵化出来。他一出生来到这个世界，因为长得丑陋，就处处挨啄、被排挤、被讪笑，成为全体鸡鸭嘲笑对象。后来一天比一天更糟了，大家要赶走这只可怜的小鸭，连他自己的兄弟姐妹甚至鸭妈妈都开始讨厌丑小鸭。鸭儿们咬他，小鸡们啄他，喂鸡鸭的那个女佣人踢他。终于他忍受不了这样的日子，离开了养鸡场。可是外面的世界也并没有让丑小鸭感到快乐。他又一次被野鸭嘲笑，被老母鸡、雄猫为难，被女主人用火钳夹，还险些被猎人用枪打死，差点儿被野狗吃掉，忍饥挨饿，这些都成为丑小鸭幼年时候的一部分生活经历。

丑小鸭面对苦难，并没有绝望，也没有沉沦，而是始终不屈地奋斗，这一切缘于他心中拥有一份崇高的理想。就是这种理想使他克服种.种困难，最终变成了一只美丽、高贵的白天鹅。

故事的结局是圆满的，我不仅为丑小鸭变成了白天鹅感到高兴，更为他坚持不懈、满怀希望、不屈不挠、争取幸福自由的精神所深深感动。

读了《丑小鸭》后，我懂得了这样一个道理：一个人只要有理想，并依靠自己的坚定信念，为之努力奋斗，即使身处逆境也不要紧，因为逆境总是短暂的，奋斗后得来的是幸福的甜果。

Pride and Prejudice is a chefdoeuvre. But my first impression of this story was from screen.

Its long long ago, maybe before I can read english books. I dont remember which movie edition I had seen. But I was impressed by the music, the scenery and the costume. I was very favor of a section of music in its balls. Its pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. Regarding to the characters, I liked Elizabeth, the heroine,though I didnt think shes beautiful. But shes smart. However, I didnt pay much attention to the plot. I thought its so long that it made me impatient and bored. By now, I havent read the whole story in English or its Chinese version, either. I owe it to my prejudice.

In fact, I didnt understand the story at that time. I didnt know why it called Pride and Prejudice. Of course someone was pride, but I didnt find where s the prejudice. I thought its normal, the way people treated each other in that. I considered prejudice would be very disgusting. But to the movie everthing was OK in my minds, except its length. Now, I think I have understood more about it. Im a prejudiced person so I cant find wheres wrong. I merely like to do the things I like. Everytime I meet somebody or something,my thinking about he or it all depends on my foregone experience and my mood of the time. I like it so just like it, if not so just not. Im a person thinking by heart not by brain. What is worse, I actually didnt think its wrong. I thought everyone is all like that.Everyone has his special way to cognize the world. So its individuality, not prejudice. But I think something is wrong. Though everyone can judge in the way he likes, he cant ignore other ones. You can like what you like and hate what you hate, but you should be objective when you meet external world. I think it means that you should consider things roundly, not just partial. Individuality is different from prejudice. What is it? I need to think more.

家里的儿童读物有很多，其中《格林童话》是我最爱看的一本书。虽然已经看了十几遍，可是里面充满趣味的故事还是深深吸引着我。这个暑假我又读了一遍，那些寓意深刻的故事，不仅带给我欢乐，更让我获得很多启发和教育。

《格林童话》里有一篇《小红帽》，讲述了一个快乐的小女孩—小红帽，离开妈妈去外婆家送糕点探望生病的外婆，半路上遇见了大灰狼。她并不认识它，忘记了妈妈的忠告，就轻易把外婆生病的事情，和住的地方都告诉了大灰狼。结果大灰狼骗取了外婆的信任，又迷惑小红帽，把她们都吃掉了。幸亏有个猎人经过这里，及时救出了她们。

单纯善良的小红帽轻易相信了陌生人的话，险些送命。生活中，老师和妈妈也经常提醒我们不要跟陌生人说话，《小红帽》这个故事，让我记住了这个道理。这个故事还提醒我，小孩子不仅要听家长的话，而且遇事要多动脑筋，对于陌生环境和陌生人的哄骗要提高警惕。读《格林童话》真开心，它使我开阔了眼界，也让我从中汲取到了宝贵的生活经验！

Black BeautyThe Autobiography of a Horse by Anna SewellSummaryBlack Beauty was the only book written by Anna Sewell, although its continued popularity among children, particularly girls, has justified that effort. Sewell was, remarkably, paid only twenty pounds for the book and it was published three months before her death, in 1877. However, its immediate success gave her great pleasure and she died in the knowledge that the book had indeed encouraged people to treat animals less cruelly.It is the autobiography of a horse, the black Beauty of the title, who narrates it. Through various owners who ask different tasks of Black Beauty, he grows and has numerous adventures. He goes from being a riding and carriage horse through being a mistreated town cab horse to eventual happiness in a secure home. Notably, the animal keeps strength and good temper throughout his suffering and the story was extremely influential as pro-animal propaganda but it is also an extremely exciting and moving childrens story.

前几天，爸爸个我买了一本书叫《格林听话》，使我很受启发。

在这本书里，最让我记忆犹新的就是《小红帽》了。它主要讲的就是：小红帽的奶奶生病了，妈妈让小红帽给奶奶送一些糕点吃。在路上，一只恶狼跑过来，让小红帽在山上摘花，自己帮她送到奶奶家。小红帽答应了。狼来到小红帽的外婆家，一口吃下了外婆。当小红帽来到外婆家时，发现“外婆”的眼睛大，声音尖，嘴巴长，牙齿尖的奇怪样子。这才发现是狼。小红帽赶紧喊救命。一个猎人走了过来，用枪射了狼两下，狼死了外婆也幸存了下来。

读完以后，我深受启发：狼为了想吃小红帽和她的外婆想尽一切办法但又失败了，让我们懂得了，做事不能像狼一样随便想出一些鬼点子，要向小红帽一样，遇到困难或危险都不退缩，而是勇敢的面对，大声呼救，这才是最好的办法。它还告诉了我们：千万不要相信陌生人的话，这样会吃亏的。

我们要向小红帽学习。

Here I am sitting on a couch alone thinking about what I have just finished reading with tears of sadness filling my eyes and fire of indignation filling my heart which revived my exhausted soul that has already been covered by the cruelty and the selfishness of the secular world for a long time. It is truly what I felt after reading Oliver Twist written by the prominent British author Charles Dickens.

The resonance between me and the book makes me feel not only the kindness and the wickedness of all the characters in the novel but what this aloof society lacks and what I lack deep inside. These supreme resources I’m talking about right now are somewhat different from minerals oil that we usually mention. They’re abstract like feelings and some kinds of spiritual stimulation that all of us desire anxiously from one another —— love and care.

Those charitable figures whom Dickens created in the novel are really what we need in life. They showed love and care to others just as the gentle rain from the sky fell upon the earth which was carved into my heart deeply.

Mr. Brownlow is one such person.

The other day he had one of his elaborate watches stolen by two skilled teenage thieves Artful Dodger and Charley Bates and thought naturally it was Oliver who was an orphan and forced to live with a gang of thieves that had done it because he was the only one near by after the theft had taken place. Being wrathful he caught Oliver and sent him to the police station where the ill-tempered unfair magistrates worked. Fortunately for him Oliver was proved innocent by one onlooker afterwards. With sympathy Mr. Brownlow took the injured poor Oliver to his own home. There Oliver lived freely and gleefully for some months as if he were Mr. Brownlow’s own son. One day however Mr. Brownlow asked Oliver to return some books to the bookseller and to send some money for the new books that he had already collected. The thief Oliver once stayed with kidnapped him. After that he disappeared in Mr. Brownlow’s life. Searching for a while Mr. Brownlow had to believe the fact that he had run away with his money. But dramatically they came across each other again a few years later. Without hesitation Mr. Brownlow took Oliver home for the second time not caring if he had done something evil.

Perhaps most of us would feel confused about Mr. Brownlow’s reaction. But as a matter of fact this is just the lesson we should learn from him. Jesus said in the Bible. “Forgive not seven times but seventy-times seven.” Why is that? Because forgiveness is our ability to remove negative thoughts and neutralize them so our energy may be spent on doing what we came here for. We cannot move forward in our future if past issues cloud our thinking. Stop put Mr. Brownlow into the list of your models. Always give people a second chance no matter what they might have done. That’s also a substantial part of loving and caring others.

Then there are Mrs. Maylie and Rose Oliver’s other benefactors. Maybe the reason they loved and cared Oliver was not because of forgiveness. In my point of view it was trust. They had faith in Oliver when he was considered to be a filthy burglar who tried to break the front door of Maylie’s at midnight. But this wasn’t how these two ladies saw the whole thing. They denied Oliver’s crime immediately and listened attentively to Oliver’s own description of his miserable life. They were deeply touched by Oliver’s strong perseverance and astonishing vitality. Accordingly they remedied Oliver’s body and heart and turned him into a different boy. He began to wear appropriate and clean suits which were tailor-made for him and receive education.

As far as we can see it is trust that helps us all live together without precaution. Sometimes trust can even lead us to miracles which we often expect to come about so why not trust? Trust yourself trust others and you’ll salute miracles every single day.

In the novel though the young Oliver again and again fell for conspiracies of those hideous thieves who tried to torture Oliver’s body and poisoned Oliver’s heart intensely he always lived on and tried hard to seek for his own life. Then I realized what supported him all through were actually beliefs. In most cases what you believe is what you’ll become. Believe that you are unlimited that you can do anything you commit to doing and when you do your accomplishments will know no bounds. You control your beliefs and that is how you ultimately control your life. It’s all dictated by your attitude.

In the final analysis love and care contain numerous forms there are love of forgiveness love of trust etc. but they all come from your beliefs in life. When someone tells you he’s deceived you forgive him anyway when someone tells you what he’s done trust him anyway and when you face adversities while chasing your dreams think about your beliefs then what hinders you will become a piece of cake in no time.

So find out “Olivers” in your life and do as Mr. Brownlow and Mrs. Maylie do: love them and care them which cost nothing but save much. They enrich those who receive without impoverishing those who give. They can be certain smallest words or actions but the memory of them sometimes last forever.

Charles Dickens said:“Love makes the world go around.” These immortal words have inspired and will keep on inspiring us to chant the melody of love and to say the prayer of care forevermore. Let us therefore enjoy life and treat other people lovingly. These principles are the roots and foundations of beliefs supporting this article and our mission together.

上学期，我们集体购买了《典范英语6》，通过一年的学习，我们的英语是在提高，学习了许多知识。

我们每次学习前都先听录音，这大大提高了我们的英语听读水平，使我们的听力题成绩有了一些提高，是我们受益匪浅。

二是我们在看，在读时，有许多生词，老师也让我们自己猜，然后自己查，这给我们下了很深的印象，也比老师告诉我们要好得多。

三是我们由教材中的故事，自己改编成话剧，有一些同学表演，更是英语融入了我们的生活。

总而言之，这套教材给我们留下了许多知识，是我们受益匪浅。

格林童话这本书，我已经看过好几遍了，但每一次阅读都能给我全新的感受。

格林童话是一个充满神话色彩的游乐园。在这里有美丽的公主、善良的小红帽、英俊的王子、可恶的大灰狼、可爱的小兔、温和的小羊……还有许许多多的小精灵。

这是一片奇妙的想象天空。在这里也许一只蚂蚁也有奇遇、一片树叶也有魔法，一块石头也有不可告人的秘密;这是一个纯净的绿色空间。在这里天空永远湛蓝，树林永远幽远，流水永远无邪，太阳永远温暖……

格林童话里到处体现着善良的寓意。《灰姑娘》这则故事中的主人公灰姑娘，尽管受尽了继母与姐姐们的欺负与侮辱，但心地依旧善良，最终获得了幸福。《青蛙王子》中的国王说的很对，当你遇到麻烦时候，别人帮助了你，你就要感谢他，尊重他，哪怕他是一只青蛙。知恩必报是我们做人的准则。只有做人要信守诺言，有诚信;才能受人尊重。善良的人终究会有好的结果，好人有好报。就是这个道理。然而，并不是所有的人都是善良的，恶毒的人总会遭到惩罚。《白雪公主》中的王后就是很好的例子。她千方百计，不择手段地伤害白雪公主，末了却为了那颗妒忌心而活活气死。《小红帽》故事里，大灰狼虽然吃了小红帽和她的祖母，但被猎人剪开了肚子，最后死了，小红帽和她的祖母也得救了。《渔夫和他的妻子》故事中，因为渔夫妻子无止境的贪婪，最后还是使自己一无所有。正是应验了那句俗语“恶有恶报”。

格林童话这些精彩的童话故事确实告诉了我们很多道理。愿每个人都成为善良的人，世界才会真正成为爱的人类家园!

At the beginning of this century, many new writers emerged with the introduction of many new ideas. Among them, Jack London was the most popular one.

His most famous novel is the call of the wild . Although it is a story about a dog, Buck, it vividly depicts the life in the primitive North where people rushed for gold and fortune.

Buck, used to belong to a judge, was kidnapped and sold to North. Then he became a member of a dog-team pulling a sled . In the days of pulling a snow-sled, he learned to conform to the law of nature and obey the master. Finally, he found a basic instinct hidden inside him, which enabled himself to survive the tough environment. This is the call of the wild.

When you read the story, you will feel that Buck is a man instead of a dog, struggling with his fortune and conforming to the law of nature.

Though short, it is really a thrilling story. What you never forget is the tough life in the nature, the brave and crafty dog. Maybe the wild is calling you to go ahead.

While writing for only 16 years throughout his life, London produced an amazing body of work among which, White Fang, Martin Eden, the Valley of the Moon are representative.

我读过许多童话，《海的女儿》却让我最受感动。

故事讲诉了海王国有一条美丽而善良的人鱼，美人鱼爱上了陆地上英俊的王子，为了追求爱情幸福，不惜忍受巨大痛苦，褪去鱼形，换来人形。但王子最后却和人间的女子结了婚。巫婆告诉美人鱼，只要杀死王子，并使王子的血流到自己腿上，美人鱼就可回到海里，重新过着无忧无虑的生活。可她却为了王子的幸福，自己投入海中，化为了泡沫。
