我家门前有几株杨树，可气派了!

杨树的个头儿很大，足足有两层楼那么高;粗壮的树干笔直笔直的，好像要直冲云霄似的。纵横交错的树枝围绕着树干，好像一只只有力的翅膀随时准备高飞呢!那繁茂的、绿油油的叶子，像极了翅膀上一片片美丽的羽毛。你瞧，杨树妈妈扑扇着那强劲有力的翅膀，漂亮的羽毛“沙沙”地唱着动听的歌儿，好像在欢迎风婆婆的到来呢!夏天来临时，杨树下面的阴影就成了我和小伙伴们嬉戏玩耍的凉爽乐园，我们的欢笑声总是传出很远很远。

可在春天时，我发现杨树上有许多白花花的小毛毛，像棉花似的，风儿一吹，那一团团的小毛毛就开始在空中跳舞;又好像是下雪了似的。我兴奋极了，忙喊：“妈妈，妈妈，下雪了!快来看呀!”妈妈摸着我的头，笑着说：“呵呵，傻孩子，这哪是雪，是杨絮。”“杨絮是什么呀?”我不解地问妈妈。很遗憾，妈妈也没能说清楚，看来我只有自己查阅资料找答案了。

我翻开了我的《十万个为什么》还真找到了答案：原来杨絮是属于植物类花，是杨树的种子。因为春天是种子的成熟期，果实开裂后种子借助白絮在空中飘荡，寻找合适的生长地点，这是杨树繁殖的重要途径。但并不是所有的杨树都有杨絮，只有雌株杨树产生杨絮，雄株杨树是没有的哦!大街上到处散播杨絮会造成环境污染，还会影响人们的呼吸道健康。所以人行道上不适宜中雌珠杨树，应种些雄株杨树。

可是我的问题又来了：怎样才能预防杨絮产生的不良后果呢?妈妈的生活经验还真是丰富：家里有纱窗的可以关上纱窗，必须出门时一定要戴上口罩，或者穿得稍微严实一点……

原来是这样，植物的秘密还真不少呀!看来以后我一定要留心观察，多读书来了解更多的植物的奥秘。

It was the third day of our winter holiday. Today, there are many business in my mothers company. So my mother told me to help my uncle who is the manager of my mothers company. I sat in my mothers office and help her answer the telephone. While I was free, I was writing my homework. Although I also have a lot of time to do my homework, I still do it. Because in my mothers office, I had nothing to do. If I did nothing, I was wasting my time and my life. I cant do the foolish thing. We should take good use of our time.

As is well known, books teach us to learn life, truth, science and many

friends. This is the reason why our parents always encourage us to read more

books.

Reading is a good thing, but we must pay GREat attention to the choice of

books. It is true that we can derive benefits from good books. However, bad

books will do us more harm than good.

今年元宵节的晚上，我和爸爸、妈妈、爷爷、奶奶一起去城墙上观灯会。节日的城市被华丽的街灯装扮得无比美丽，街道两旁的树上也挂满了各色各样的彩灯，像天上的星星，热闹非凡。

城墙门口早已人山人海、一片喜气洋洋，还未进城墙内，目光就被门前的京剧脸谱吸引了，那脸谱人物头戴王冠，身着披风，背插靠旗，真是威风凛凛。妈妈告诉我红色的脸谱象征忠义、耿直，我转过头来，竖起了大拇指。随后，我们就跟随人群登上了城墙。

站在城墙上，一眼望去，那一组组五光十色、千姿百态的花灯映入我们的眼帘，这一定是一场可以让我们大饱眼福的视觉盛宴，观灯的人们再也压抑不住心里的兴奋了，人群中的孩子们狂跑着高喊道：“好漂亮!”年轻人们迈着悠闲的脚步感叹道：“好美啊!"老年人们竖起大拇指赞叹道：“制灯者们心灵手巧，真牛!”

突然一声清脆而洪亮的声音使我停止了脚步，噢!原来是一位戴眼镜的叔叔在讲解《四大喜事》这一灯组，好奇的我也挤了进去，此时我也知道了《四大喜事》分别是：“久旱逢甘露”、“他乡遇故知”、“洞房花烛夜”、“金榜题名时。”

我们继续往前走着，突然眼前出现了一只乌龟背着一只鸵鸟的灯，真有趣，我忙喊：“奶奶，快来快来呀!这是长寿安康灯，是以战国时期的龟驮凤鸟铜灯为原型，辅以编钟二龙戏珠图案。祈福人们平安长寿、吉祥安康。”我给奶奶念着灯上面的介绍，奶奶笑着说：“今年的灯做得真好，动作表情活灵活现，好!好!”今年的花灯真是与众不同啊!“金猪迎宾”灯、“滴公英”灯、“新年民俗”灯、“能源革命”灯……看得我目不暇接。

城墙上的每一盏盏灯都仿佛是天空中一颗颗璀璨的星星，把夜空照耀得那么明亮;城墙上的每一组灯都仿佛是一盒彩笔，把元宵节勾勒得那么多彩、那么生动!

来到长江堤坝下，我和同学罗文精心挑选了一个漂亮的“热带鱼”风筝，这个“热带鱼”风筝由红黄蓝三种颜色组成，后面还拖着一条小尾巴。我们拿着自己选购的风筝迫不急待地来到西门渊的沙滩上，只见天空中五彩缤纷的风筝都在展翅翱翔。看！那只灰白色的“飞机”飞得多高啊！好像在云层中穿行。这边的“大蝴蝶”也扇动那对又长又宽的金翅膀，在天空飘来飘去，最漂亮的要数那只"蓝猫"风筝了，总是张开嘴巴对我笑咧……

“快！把我们的热带鱼也送上天去。”罗文提醒我说。“好！”我光顾着欣赏而冷落了我的“热带鱼”了，它可能等急了。我让罗文举着风筝，自己拿着线轴向前跑，“热带鱼”顶着微风徐徐升高，我正得意洋洋，突然，“热带鱼”失去平衡急速栽了下来，我的心猛的提了起来。我对罗文说：“我们再来一次，我们俩要配合好，不让风筝失去平衡”。说完，我们又按刚才的动作再来了一次，等到我喊一声“放！”罗文赶紧松开手，我举着迎风飘扬的“热带鱼”又跑了一阵子，边跑边放线，还不时回头看看，这次我们成功了，我们的"热带鱼"已经稳稳当当地飞上了天空，一颗悬着的心才放了下来。看着“热带鱼”越飞越高，我和罗文高兴地叫嚷着。

天空中的风筝越来越多，有红色的“小燕子”黑色的“老鹰”雪白的“小鸽子”，……它们争奇斗艳，令人眼花缭乱。

天空一下子阴沉了下来，云朵蹦了出来，紧接着雷公用力地敲击着雷鼓，小雨点儿都一个接一个地跳下来，它们有的在屋顶上玩滑滑梯，有的在雨伞上跳舞，有的在和小草、小花说悄悄话，诉说着旅行的快乐。

“沙沙沙，沙沙沙”无数个小雨点儿都一起演奏起大合唱。“轰隆隆，轰隆隆”雷公也为这首大合唱打起了节拍。花儿们静静地聆听着，并轻轻地跟着节奏摇摆着。雨中，人们打起了一把把小雨伞，雨点儿快活地跳着，雨伞成了最耀眼的“花朵”。雨点儿落在汽车上，为汽车洗了个澡。

渐渐地，雨小了，雷声也小了。一道美丽的彩虹挂在了空中，五彩缤纷，漂亮极了。经过雨水的冲洗，花朵变得更加娇艳，更加精神，小草变得更加新鲜，汽车变得那么干净。太阳公公回来了，他慈爱地看着人们，把自己的温暖再一次地撒向大地。鸟儿们又停在树枝上唱起了歌。

Computers are affordable for almost all people nowadays. As a result, an

increasing number of college students take computers to their dormitory to

browse website, watch movies and play video games and so on. This phenomenon has

caused lots of public concern. Some people believe that computer does bad to

students’ health for college students spend more than five hours staring at

computer without break every day. However, for other people, they are positive

to students’ owing computers because students can search for the newest

information. Standing on my point, I’m more tending to the first opinion.

Reasons are as the following:

Firstly, computers will transfer students’ attention. If students take

computers on campus, they would spend much time on computer than on study. For

instance, lots of my classmates usually play computer for amusement once class

is dismissed instead of going to the library to read more books to enlarge their

knowledge circle.

Secondly, students spend lots of time on computers which hurts their

health. It is quite often seen that students stay in dormitory for almost a

whole day without any breaks playing computers. It is all known that computers

have radiation which hurts eyes and skin.

To be honest, students can use computer to search for the updated

information that they want. But for the reasons above, I firmly believe that

students shouldn’t bring computers to college.

我爱中国菜 I Love Chinese Food

Chinese food is famous all around the world. A lot of foreigners speak

highly of the delicious food when they come to this big country. For me， I like

spicy food， so hot pot is my favorite. I can eat what I like and put the food in

the spicy soup. The hotness makes me feel so cool. No matter where I go， Chinese

food is always my favorite.

Today we visited Red Star Farm.

Early in the morning, we met at the school gate and went there together.

About two hours later, we arrived. On arriving there, we were given a warm

welcome by the farm workers. Then one of the workers showed us around the farm.

We were very glad to see the crops and vegetables growing so well. At noon, we

had a picnic happily.

After the picnic, we enjoyed ourselves in the sunshine. We listened to

music, dancing and singing. Some were talking happily and even two of our

classmates played chess. How time flies! It was time for us to leave though we

didnt want to. It was really an unforgettable visit for us.

今天我们参观了红星农场。

一大早，我们就在校门口，走到一起了。大约两个小时后，我们到达。一到那里，我们是由农场工人的热烈欢迎。然后其中一名工人向我们展示了农场周围。我们很高兴地看到庄稼和蔬菜长势那么好。中午的时候，我们有一个愉快的野餐。

我望着我的画，心想：这下总画完了吧，于是我去找老师，老师一看我画的画，说：“你画的不错，就是有些乱。我一听，下决心：我以后一定要把画画得干净整洁，争取不涂改!!!

As we all realized that every one of us will fail during our life. Take me

for an example, I fail in my exam. In fact, failure always does appear, which

also means that failure is a daily occurrence, however, when facing the failure,

different people have different attitudes.

Some people hold the view that failure is the meaning whenever they could

not be successful. Thus, if meeting with failure, they will feel so nervous that

they have no idea what they are supposed to do. As time goes by, they become

more and more dispirited while eventually, they could do nothing well.

On the contrary, there are some people tending to believe another idea.

From their point of view, failure is outstanding due to the fact that it can

give them plenty of encouragement. Therefore, if facing failure, they will be

quite courageous and then try their best to beat it, finally, they make their

dream come true.

From my perspective, failure is neither an excellent thing nor an

appreciating thing. Sometimes, it is capable to offer us with encouragement,

however, it can also make us unconfident now and then. Thus, if encountering the

failure, never could we be scared. What we should do is to face it bravely and

never give up.

In summary, I wish when failure appears, each one of us could confront with

it bravely and beat it, if possible.

金矿玩的就是坐小火车了。一列小火车开过来了，小火车还挺长的，大概有20节车厢吧，我们四人正好坐满一个车厢，车厢里非常干净，座位是我最喜欢的蓝色，坐上小火车，我和妹妹就开始吃零售，玩玩具，妈妈给我们拍照片，外婆笑盈盈地看着我们玩。突然一片黑乎乎的，妈妈告诉我们，这里面原来是工人们采矿的矿洞，当时就是用这种小火车运送矿石的，现在让我们游玩的人坐小火车体验这里的景象，我觉得，那些工人可真厉害，能开这么长的一条矿洞。

金矿吸引人应该是黄金博物馆了，那里面有黄金戒子，白金项链，抱金砖等遍地黄金，有许多游客在这里买到了喜爱的东西。

遂昌金矿要真好玩，我下次还要去遂昌金矿玩一次，带上我舅舅他们一起去。

I love holidays,because during holidays ,I can do everything I like,and

study something new.Now the summer holidays is coming,Im going to do something

meaningful.

I like English,I spell words well,but I can not speak English very well.So

I want to improve my English in the holiday.I will read English every moring,and

then I think my English must be improved. I will also learn to swim.I think it

今天，科普大篷车进校园了。吃过早餐，我们怀着好奇的心进行各种科学试验。场面可热闹了。

展出的物品有二十五件，有滚出直线，有非涅而头镜，有窥视元突，有离心现象，有看得见摸不着的，还有有记忆的花……最有趣的是锥体上滚。讲的是把锥体放到轨道低端，观察轨道上锥体的运动。锥体为什么能从轨道低端向高端滚动呢?

原来锥体上滚的时候，它的重心随之降低。在重力作用下，物体有降低其重心的运动趋势。简单测量一下就可以知道，物体在轨道高端时，其重心最低。所以锥体就可以向上滚了。滚出直线讲的是一个圆围绕一条直线进行旋转，那条线叫内摆线，如果定圆的半径恰好为动圆半径的两倍，内摆线将成直线。

这些科学物品真神奇，可我却不懂这是为什么，我以后要努力学习科学，了解这些科学物品的神奇之处，这真是难忘的一天啊!
