My Experience to Eat Buffet

Today, after school, my friends asked me to have dinner with them, I felt so happy and went the restaurant with them. Then I found they wanted to eat buffet, I was so happy, because I always wanted to have buffet, I could eat a lot of food. As we paid the money more than we usually spent, so all of us wanted to eat as more as possible, even though we were full enough, we still tried to eat. I would go the wash room many times, so that I could continue to eat. This summer holiday, I had travelled to Hong Kong with many other students. We went to Hong Kong by plane. Hong Kong is very small, but there are many people living there.

In Hong Kong, all of the buildings are very tall. There are lots of shops there and you can go shopping until about 11:00 at night. In Hong Kong, things are very expensive, so we only bought a few souvenirs.

We went to lots of places, such as the Avenue of Stars and Ocean Park. I like Ocean Park best. The park is very big. Sitting in the cable car, you can see two hills, lots of different flowers and the sea. Some students were afraid of sitting in the cable car!

We stayed in the Shu Ren College. There are many big trees around it. We had meals in the restaurants, but I didnt like the food.

Hong Kong is very beautiful. I like Hong Kong and I hope to go there again some day.

Dumpling is a traditional Chinese food.On the lunar New Year s Day,most

families make a lot of delicious dumplings.To make them,follow this easy

process.

The first step is to mix the flour with water.When the dough is ready,we

can begin to make dumpling wrappers.We use a rolling pole to roll the dough into

small,thin and round pieces so that they will be easy to cook.When the wrappers

are done,it s time to prepare the filling.Usually,we use meat such as beef or

mutton,and some vegetables such as cabbage or carrots for filling.You may

actually choose whatever you like to put into it.We must chop those things into

small pieces.Then put some salt,oil and other condiments into it and stir it

evenly.When all these preparations are done,we can start making dumplings.First

put a spoonful of filling in the center of the wrapper.Then stick the two

opposite sides together and then the rest.Don t just cover the filling with the

wrappers.The best shape of dumplings is that of a ship,because when they are

boiling in the pan,they look like ships sailing in the sea.The smell can make

your mouth water.

Our school is far away from the downtown. As a result, it is a good place

for students to study. We won’t be disturbed by the crowded people and the

noise. For me, I like the scenery in the campus, trees are around, especially

when I look out of the window in the break time. I will look at the scenery that

is far away, sometimes I can see birds flying. There is a road that circles the

mountain, which looks like a snake. When cars are driving in the road, I will be
