I am Alice. I am a student of No.1 Middle School. I study in Class Two

Grade Seven.

There is a map of our school on the wall. The playground is in the middle

of the school. On the left of the playground, there is a library. I like reading

very much, so I often read books in the library. There is a teaching building

behind the library. We study in that building. My classroom is on the second

floor in that building. The teachers offices are in that building, too. Where

is the sport hall? Oh, its on the right of the teaching building. I have P.E

The 15-Day Celebration of Chinese New YearThe first day of the Lunar New Year is "the welcoming of the gods of the heavens and earth."Many people abstain from meat on the first day of the new year because it is believed that this will ensure long and happy lives for them.

Noodles are eaten to promote longevity and raw fish for success.On the eighth day the Fujian people have another family reunion dinner, and at midnight they pray to Tian Gong, the God of Heaven.The ninth day is to make offerings to the Jade Emperor.The 10th through the 12th are days that friends and relatives should be invited for dinner.

After so much rich food, on the 13th day you should have simple rice congee and mustard greens (choi sum) to cleanse the system.The 14th day should be for preparations to celebrate the Lantern Festival which is to be held on the 15th night.

I was only nine years old when I learnt how to use a computer. My mother is my first teacher. I know how to type, how to copy a file, and how to visit a web site on the Internet. My school life is very common. I get up at six o’clock every morning from Monday to Friday. And the I would go running with my classmates, as our head teacher says health is the most important thing. After running I have to do morning exercises on the playground. Then I can have breakfast. Having breakfast, I need to have morning reading. Oh, I almost forget that all of the students have to do some cleaning before breakfast. There come the various classes. Then noon comes. Having lunch, I will go to sleep. Firstly， during holiday， so many people swarm into the travel spots that we can’t enjoy ourselves to the full。 For most people， they want to travel because during holiday， they can have several days to relieve themselves by traveling。 However， so many people crowd together will make their tour lose the original fun。

Secondly， during holiday， price will be rising drastically。 It is known to all that you need to spend much more to buy things or taking bus or any other transportation since many retailers will raise goods’ price during this holiday to get fat profits。

All in all， travel during holiday is not a good choice for us since its inconvenience in traveling among a huge crowd of people and also the dramatically high price for goods and transportations will let us pay extra money。

For most western countries, Christmas Day is the biggest festival, and all the people will have the long vacation, just as Spring Festival in China. With the development of globalization, Christmas Day is celebrated by people around the world. When the day comes, Christmas trees can be seen in many shops and some products have the great discounts.

One of the main reasons for people to love Christmas is that they can get the great discounts from some products, which saves them a lot of money. For American people, Christmas Day is the great moment for the families to get together and enjoy the family hour, while for some people they just treat it as the shopping day.

Hainan is the southernmost province of our country. I heard the scenery was picturesque and the temperature was suitable, so Id like to see it. In this year I again begged mom and dad in the travel agency, the newspaper, I finally have a chance to see the South China Sea Pearl - Hainan face!

What impresses me most in Hainan is all kinds of tropical fruits, tall coconut trees, gold and golden beaches, and the boundless sea. Now, let me give you a brief introduction of these things.

Lets talk about the fruit of Hainan first! Because of the warm climate here, many kinds of fruit are produced. Is eating stinky smell fragrant durian, nutrient rich pitaya, eat like egg yolk like fruit, carambola star like, with sweet and sour sapodilla, have long durian like jackfruit, a thin meat, sweet emperor banana, a body is a treasure of coconut...... Many kinds, right?
