university entrance exam in July this year. Everyday, I buried myself in

studying. I had to review each required subject and do lots of exercises.

Besides, because I did bad in mathematics and physics, I had to do much more

exercises than other courses, which made me discouraged. I spent more than ten

hours a day in studying. When I was tired, I watched TV or listened to music for

a little while. But It was a big pity that I couldnt go to the see cinema. In

addition, I had to refuse all the invitations of friends and relatives. I only

called them or sent messages in the New Year’s Eve. I desperately hoped that

there is no exam but I know it’s impossible. The only thing I can do is to study

hard to get good scores and can be admitted to Tsinghua University.

This summer vacation, I joined a social practice to be a part-time tourguide. There I found something that impressed me a lot.

People who love traveling are always finding places to take a vacation, which caused a lot of troubles.For example, I found that some people were used to dropping out the trash everywhere. They just regarded the sightseeings as their houses, which cost a lot to clean it up. Besides, some one should write down their names on the trees and walls. 听完这个故事，我想有一些人会对此感到不屑吧，那是因为他们对奢侈浪费的现象已经见怪不怪了。我们时常看到，有些人只不过是洗洗手，却把水龙头开得很大；时常看见在空无一人的教室里风扇还在呼呼作响；时常目睹美酒佳肴摆了一桌，顷刻间却成为垃圾。“一粥一饭，当思来之不易；半思半缕，恒念物力维艰”，“历览前贤国与家，成由节俭败由奢”。自古以来，我们中华民族就以勤俭节约为荣，奢侈浪费为耻。试问，当节俭被放入史册，当浪费成为了时尚，我们不该感到悲哀吗？

勤俭节约是我们中华民族的美德，是五千年文明古国的优良传统。从厉行节约的晏婴到“一钱大守”刘宠，从一代名相魏征到民主革命家孙中山，都为我们留下一份份忧苦万民、勤劳天下的珍贵遗产。老一辈无产阶级革命家鞠躬尽瘁、艰苦朴素的光辉事迹，更是彪炳千秋。中华民族正是具有这种精神，才能生生不熄、不断繁衍、兴旺发达。勤俭节约还是我们国家的建国方针，建国初期，毛泽*东主席曾说“要使我们国家富强起来，需要几十年艰苦奋斗的时间，其中包括执行厉行节约，反对浪费这样一个勤俭建国的方针。”正是这一方针，才使我们年轻的共和国医治了几十年战争的创伤，甩掉一穷二白的帽子，屹立于世界民族之林。

我们知道，改革开放后，国家的经济在不断提高，但是，我国尚未达到中等发达国家的水平，还有相当一部分地区是比较贫穷落后的。在城市里，还有许多下岗工人靠社会救济金金生活，在农村，还有许多孩子因交不起学费而失学。在西部山区，还有许多人为解决温饱问题而奔波。我们国家还没有富裕到可以比阔斗富的时候，勤俭节约的美德不能丢。勤俭是建立在“勤”与“俭”的结合上。只有勤奋才能创造劳动成果，只有节约才能珍惜劳动成果，两者相加，劳动者创造的成果才会越累越多，社会才能发展进步。反之，则是社会衰败，文明倒退。“历览前贤国与家，成由勤俭败由奢”。历史上多少人，贫困时勤俭节约，奋发有为，终于成就大事，又有多少人富贵时骄奢淫逸、声色犬马，使千万家财、百年基业毁于一旦。历史教训告诉我们，即使国家足够发达了，我们的生活真正富足了，勤俭节约的美德也不能丢。

古今中外勤俭节约的故事不胜枚举。朱元璋的故乡凤阳还流传着四菜一汤的歌谣：“皇帝请客，四菜一汤，萝卜韭菜，着实着香；小葱豆腐，意味深长，一清二白，贪官心慌。”朱元璋给皇后过生日时，只用红萝卜、韭菜，青菜两碗，小葱豆腐汤，宴会请众官员。而且约法三章：今后不论谁摆宴席，只许四菜一汤，谁若违反严惩不待！毛泽*东一生粗茶淡饭，睡硬板床，穿粗布衣，生活极为简朴。一件睡衣竟然补了73次，穿了20年。经济困难时期，他主动减薪、降低生活标准，不吃肉、水果。还有雷锋、格朗台、严监生等这些伟人在勤俭节约方面为国人做出了表率。

皇帝伟人都如此节约，而我们现在呢？现在，有许多餐馆都非常的浪费。客人们为了扩大排场，只有几个人，却要点一满桌子的菜。客人们吃饱后，却有一大堆菜没吃完，没办法，只好全部倒掉。这样，既浪费了钱财，又浪费了粮食。

大家都知道，巴西是全世界水资源最丰富的地方之一，但当地人民还是很节约，用完水会很自觉的把水龙头关上，也没有人接一盆水，实际只用一半，另一半白白流失的情况，水龙头坏了也会及时的修理。还有，在英国的一些学校新发的课本只准用铅笔写名字，在书上也不能写其他的东西，还要保存完好，如过违反任意一条，都要处罚并买一本新的给学校，这种做发是为了让下一界学生接着用，做到尽量少浪费纸资源。

节约与我们每个人都息息相关，一滴水、一张纸、一度电，司空见惯。但是这一点一滴慢慢随着时间的推移，这数字也慢慢增加，不久后，这数字一定大得惊人。任何资源，它是有限的，如果我们每人都浪费一点，长年累月之后，可能就不复有存在了！

现在的全球变暖就是体现浪费最好的例子，那我们该怎么做呢？就我而言，我有以下办法：一、用完水龙头、电器以后及时将其关闭。二、打印机的纸最好把两面都用上，用过的纸还可一留下来打草稿。三、送家人的礼物最好不要买包装华丽的，偶尔还可以自己做。四、浇花时，把花盆放在另一个大盆里，以防外漏。五、水用完了还可以二次利用，比如：洗脸水可以冲厕所、淘米水可以浇花。六、出门时，天不黑又是晴天时尽量少开车。七、吃东西是能吃多少要/做多少。八、不与别人攀比物质上的东西，尽量用物美价廉的。

在我们学习语文时都接触到不少关与勤俭节约的词，比如：积少成多、集腋成裘，和一些名言佳句：由俭入奢易，从奢入俭难；欲求温饱、勤俭为要。还有一句流传千古的诗句：“谁知盘中餐，粒粒皆辛苦。”这都体现了勤俭节约的传统美德，我们每个人都应该把它牢记心头！

节俭节约高中作文五：勤俭节约

勤俭就是勤劳节俭，包括努力工作和节约用度两个重要方面。我国自古就以勤俭作为修身治家的美德，《尚书》说：“惟日孜孜，无敢逸豫”。《左传》引古语说：“民生在勤，勤则不匮”。《周易》提出：“俭德辟难”之说，《墨子》有：“俭节则昌，淫佚则亡”之论。古人认为能否做到勤俭，是关系到生存败亡的大事，不可轻忽。在现在社会，经济增长和物质消费的观念已经发生很大的变化，但勤俭作为一种美德，作为一种工作态度、生活作风或治国方针，还是要大力提倡的。

有许多的历史人物都以勤俭来修身，他们不仅在国家事业上勤劳，而且在家庭生活上也非常节俭。克勤克俭，是我国人民的传统美德。传说中的古代圣贤都是这样做的，如尧特别关心民众，认为别人挨饿受冻是自己的工作没有做好，是自己的过错。而他自己的生活却十分节俭，经常穿着粗布衣裳，吃粗米饭，喝野菜汤。正是由于尧在事业上和生活上克勤克俭，所以赢得了百姓的爱戴，成为一位圣贤。

我国北宋时期著名的文学家、书画家——苏东坡，也把节俭作为自己的生活习惯，以节俭来提高自身的修养，他在生活上坚决反对奢侈浪费。有一年，他被贬黄州，俸禄减少，这给生活上带来了诸多不便。为了渡过困境，它不仅辞退了身边所有的仆人，而且自己更加节俭，他给自己制定了一份完整详细的开支计划，把所有的收入和手边的钱都集中起来，然后将这些钱分成十二份，每月一份，每份又平均分成三十份，每天只用一份。他就是这样“取之有度，用之有节”度过了难关。“君子以俭德辟难”，苏东坡就是这样做的。

奢侈浪费小到足以破坏一个和谐美满的家庭，大到足以灭亡一个无比强盛的国家。自古就有许多帝王在刚开始创业时，以勤俭修身，受到了百姓的拥戴，但后来他们逐渐放弃了勤俭而一味的追求安逸享乐，结果招致了自己的灭亡。五代时的后唐庄宗李存勖，一开始励精图治，奋发有为，击败各个敌手称帝。但后来沉湎于音乐戏曲，每天在宫廷上用重金请人表演，演得好，用重金封赏，并且整天大肆兴建乐宫，乐队，造成黄金流失，最终导致部下作乱，伶人发难，在位三年就死于兵乱之中。欧阳修在撰写《伶官传》时，有感于这段历史，阐发了“忧劳可以兴国，逸豫可以亡身”的道理。

中国有着很强的忧患意识，特别是在国家动荡，民不聊生时更是如此。孔子说“人无远虑，必有近忧”，孟子讲“生于忧患而死于安乐”就是分别从个人和国家的角度强调了保持忧患意识的重要性。魏征即使在大唐盛世，也规劝皇帝“居安思危，戒奢以俭”，以实现长治久安。

还有要提醒大家注意“由俭入奢易，由奢入俭难”。意思是说，从节俭变得奢侈容易，从奢侈转到节俭很难。这是司马光引述他人的话，用来训诫子孙的。它强调要自觉保持节俭，防止奢侈，含有自勉、警世之意。人都想过好日子，这本无可厚非。但是过于奢华是不可取的，商纣用了双象*牙筷子，他的臣子就要逃走，原因是看到纣王的贪欲一发，将不可遏制。所以坚持节俭要有自律能力。

现在，随着科技的发展，物质生活水平的提高。人们逐渐淡漠了古人的教训，大肆的奢侈浪费。我国就形成了一种通病——“节俭冷漠症”。身边的小事就足见这种病态的严重。白天明亮的教室里非得开灯，洗手间的水龙头“细水长流”，电脑永远处在待机状态，简直是“不知节俭何滋味”。据上海能源管理部门统计，按平均每户家庭有15瓦特的耗电量计算，上海480万户家庭在白天高峰时就增加了2.5万千瓦左右的用电负荷；一台电脑的待机能耗30瓦，如果上海15万机关干部下班后都不关掉电脑电源，仅此一项，就将每天增加4500千瓦的用电负荷，倘若加上企事单位的的电脑待机浪费，数字十分惊人。如果这样浪费下去，有多少能源将被这样白白的浪费掉。为国家造成多大的经济损失。长此下去，即使我国再强盛，恐怕也支撑不了多长时间。

纵观历史，大到邦国，小到家庭，无不是兴于勤俭，忘于奢靡。古往今来，成功的创业者大都经过艰苦奋斗阶段，所以都很勤俭节约。但是对于守业者来说，则正好相反，他们没有经历过创业的艰辛，容易贪图奢侈享乐，最终的命运必然是事业的衰败，国家的灭亡。这是几千年历史所昭示的真理。

在物质极大丰富的今天，戒奢从俭，不糜费财物，认识我们崇尚的美德。

水是人类生命的源泉，没有水，人无法生存，树木、禾苗会干枯。

在生活中，我们经常大量浪费水资源，如平时洗菜、洗手，洗衣服的水，用完一拨，就倒了，多浪费啊!如果我们每一个家庭都把洗衣服的水拖地，洗菜和洗手所剩的水，用来冲厕所或浇花，那我们东莞约一千万人口，每一个人每天节约一升水，那东莞一天就能节约一千万升水，这数目可不小啊!在学校，我们有些同学，开了水龙头，用完水后就不把水龙头关上，让水无节制地流淌，甚至有些调皮捣蛋的学生故意把水龙头打开，让白哗哗的水流走，每当遇到这些不当行为，我们应及时制止。大家想过没有，年初我国北方一连几个月没有下雨，大部分地区干旱受灾，国家损失惨重，可想水对我们人类有多重要啊!

水，现在受到严重的污染，淡水资源越来越少。就拿我们的运河来说吧，过去是清澈见底，而现在呢?由于被工厂排出的废水和市民的生活废水吞噬，清澈的河水变得乌黑乌黑的，河面上漂着各种瓶子、塑料袋、废品……远远就闻到一股臭味，运河已经变成一个臭水沟了。现在市政府将要改造运河，这要花费多少的人力、物力、财力，才能恢复以前的面貌呢?

为了创造美好的环境，我们尽量使用节水器，广泛宣传节约用水的好处，使人们自觉认识到水是珍贵的资源。我们要珍惜每一滴水，让我们从身边小事做起，从自己做起，保护有限的水资源，保护人们赖以生存的环境。
