Sichuan is located in the Upper Yangtze Valley in the southwestern part of the country. The second largest of the Chinese provinces, it covers an area of 220,100 square miles (570,000 square kilometres). How to Be Punctual

1.Acknowledge that you are a person who is having a hard time being punctual. As with any problem, you cannot fix it if youre in denial that its a problem at all. But if your chronic tardiness is beginning to strain your job and/or your relationships, the first thing you need to do is acknowledge this as a weakness so you can begin to work toward correcting it.Although if it is a rational problem,like traffic or small children,there is no need to feel bad-just keep working on it!

2. Wake up when youre supposed to wake up. Dont hit the snooze button, linger in bed, and watch TV at the very start of your day.Maybe even try setting your clock 10 minutes earlier than you need to. If you have difficulty with this, move your alarm clock to somewhere out of reach from your bed; that way, you have to get up to turn it off. Acquire the habit of sitting up, stretching, and getting out of bed as soon as the alarm goes off. If you cant get out of bed on time, you may be going to bed too late. Try sleeping earlier to allow yourself at least 7 hours sleep. By getting up late you are setting a pattern of lateness for the rest of the day. 3. Commit yourself to being 15 minutes early for everything. If you have to be to work at 8:00, dont even tell yourself this. This makes it easy to be early, since in the 10-15 minutes you have before an appointment/event, you can get a few pages of reading done. 5. Watch yourself for a few days to see where you often waste the most time. These "time sinkholes" (such as getting distracted while checking emails) are often unnoticed by us and can throw off your daily planning. Try to change your habits around these activities. For example, standing up while quickly checking your emails makes it hard to lose an hour randomly surfing the web.

6. Keep organized. Disorganization is directly related to lateness. How often have you been late because you were looking for your car keys or couldnt find an important document? Keep the things that you use everyday in some resemblance of organization and your routines will go smoother.

7. Plan ahead.

o Schedule something unimportant right before something very important. If you have an essential interview at 4:00, plan to meet a friend for coffee at the coffee shop next to your interview at 3:30. Then, even if you are late to meet your friend, you will be poised to pounce on your meeting.But remember to tell your friend that you may miss your coffee(they might feel that you are ditching them.)

o Pick out your clothes the night before (dont forget your underclothes and shoes!). If you need to bring something with you, set it with your car keys or purse.

o If you are going to some unfamiliar place, look over a map, or even drive there once if at all possible. Have your transportation planned; if you drive, keep your car in good order and refill gas in the tank. If you ride a bus, know the route, have your fare, and keep cab money on hand in case of emergency. If you are depending on another person for a ride—have a plan B!

8. Go to sleep on time. This makes it a lot easier to get up on time and helps you stay on task during the day. Unless you know otherwise, assume you need eight hours of sleep every night. By far the majority of people need at least this much sleep. College students and younger need more. Most people underestimate their sleep needs.

When you are late for appointments, meetings or work, you show a lack of respect for other people’s time as well as your own. Punctuality is a problem for many people。

the hero of the movie is an active man. Though his life was very hard, his wife

left because of the situation of their family.His work was also unfortunate. He

never gave up and still work hard.Then he took care of his little son. He is

以前，我一直不懂得好好珍惜水，常常浪费水，打开水龙头忘记关。可是一件小事后，让我懂得了要珍惜、保护水资源。那是一天夏日的午后，我和小伙伴们在草地上做游戏，突然，我脑子里灵光一闪：我们可以玩水枪大战。想到这儿，我就和伙伴们各自回家去取水枪，我的水枪容量很大，而且水还没有灌满。我就开始往水枪里注水，水注好后，我忘记关水龙头，就跑出了家门，玩了一阵子后，正好我的妈妈回来了，妈妈看见了我家的水龙头没关后，就一把将我拽进了家门，语重心长地对我说：“水是生命之源，如今我国已被列入缺水国家，许多灾区的孩子们都喝不上水，我国如今只能靠风力和一些设置才能喝上水，可你却在这里浪费水源，这不是在破坏人类自身的生命之源吗?”听了妈妈的话，我惭愧地低下了头，我决定：以后决对不再浪费水，浪费自己的“生命之源”了。

Waste management is a big problem for Australia. Australian population continues to grow and we need to use more and more resources and creating more waste. Wastes are substances that have no further use and if disposed of in land water or air can harm humans or the environment. If we don’t do something for the amount of waste that is produced there is a risk that we may run out of room in landfills or even run out of resources and I conducted the surveys from my friends and neighbours to check how many rubbish we need to waste and what is that.

I conducted 20 surveys asking them about type and amount of waste that they generate each week. The results showed that about 35% of people have 2 bags of rubbish per day. And about 25% of people have 1 and 3 bags of rubbish per day. The rest of them have 8+ bags per week. Do you know how large of the number for the rubbish? If an average weight of 2 kg per bag that’s mean we got about 116+kg per week for 20 household. If we have 23 million people in Australia that’s mean we need to waste about 113.4 million rubbishes per week. That’s a really huge number. And then I want to tell them about which strategies they need to be using to make a positive impact on waste management. If we still waste that lot may be one day all the landfill are full and we have to found a new place to set the rubbish and at that time we will be really regret.

The survey result also showed that there were a number of different types of waste thrown out in each household. Just like I think before most of them are food waste (29%) and the following are plastic (21%) garden waste (18%) paper product (15%) glass (10%) miscellaneous (5%) and the last one is aluminium (2%). As you see food waste still pretty much but we can’t do anything to that right? Therefore we need to improve our waste management by recycling the paper product glass and aluminium rather putting them in the garbage. That will be helpful for reduce landfill and save resources. May be that just a really small number for the rubbishes waste but that will make landfill have a lot space to put other rubbish.

In the survey people were asked to rank which strategies they would be prepared to use to help better manage waste. Most people said use products that can be reused or recycled is the first one the next highest rank is choose to buy goods that have less packaging and join an environmental group establish a worm farm to reduce food waste and put rubbish in a bin not on the ground. The least popular choice is Volunteer to help on ‘clean up Australia day’. These choices show u people want to do something more easily to do and don’t need too much time to spend to do.

I think Australian people need to do one thing good and that does will be fine just need to improve our own waste management by recycling the paper glass and aluminium. If Australian government will check all the time and wanning people that will be more easily. Thank for reading.

我是英华小学的一名学生。近期我在餐厅里看到了同学们洗完手或刷完盆以后，不把水管关紧，水管里面一直流着水，而且很多同学看到了这些水管开着，都不去关。刷碗的时候，开的水管特别大。还有的同学在洗手的时候，水管开的特别大，一边洗，一边说话，洗手就洗了一分钟。还有的同学一边洗手一边玩，拿水泼来泼去，把水都洒到了地下，不仅浪费水，还有可能让别的同学滑倒。据科学家证明，地球上的水只够人类使用100年了，如果同学们再不加节制的浪费水，将加速地球上水资源的枯竭。

经过我的观察和思考，我觉的同学们浪费水有一下几点原因：他们没有意识到浪费水多么严重，没有珍惜水资源的这种意识。他们觉得水是永远也用不完的，他们把浪费水这个事当成了理所当然的事。而且有的同学看到水管开着，却不好意思去关。

针对以上原因，我想提出以下建议：

1、加大力度的宣传，让同学们认识到浪费水的严重性。懂得珍惜水资源。

2、加大减分力度。专门派几个小红帽或者文明岗在水池周围检查，看到有人浪费水，就直接扣分。看到有的同学主动去关流着水的水管，就应该给他加分。

3、希望校长能每天吃饭的时候，到餐厅里去看一看。如果看到有主动关水管的，就要在全校表扬。
