水是人类必不可缺的物质之一，可现在地球上的水越来越少，地球上97·5％的水是咸水，只有2、5％是淡水。而在淡水中，将近70％冻结在南极和格陵兰的冰盖中，其余的大部分是土壤中的水分或是深层地下水，难以开采供人类使用。江河、湖泊、水库及浅层地下水等来源的水较易于开采供人类直接使用，但其数量不足世界淡水的1％，约占地球上全部水的0、007％，可是人类的工厂正大量排放出各种污水，污染水资源。人类这么做，就等于在慢性自杀，没有了吃的，人也不能生活。

到2030年以后，世界水资源将供不应求；2050年，缺水2300亿立平方米；2070年，缺水4100亿立平方米。那时候，地球将会变成一个没有生命的死星球，没有水，没有生命，没有植物、动物，地球会变成什么模样？如果人们是用浴缸洗澡的，请换成淋浴，并把时间缩短一半。水也可以循环使用，例如：淘米的水用来洗脸刷牙，洗脸的水用来洗手擦地板，洗手的水用来浇花，浇花的水用来冲马桶，如此下去，一盆水就可以起到十盆水的功效。我在饭店里看见，许多人洗好手，却不把水龙头拧上，水就在这样一滴一滴地浪费着；在学校里，许多学生也这么做，水这样流着，我的心也痛着……如果，在这样浪费下去，人类的将来，只能“靠用保鲜膜罩在一盆植物上，一天只有没几滴水”的方法来取水，如此下去也不是办法。这样的话，世界上的最后一滴水，将会是人类的眼泪。

“电”是我们离不开的好伙伴，它是通过发电厂输送过来的，目前有水力、风力、火力、地热、太阳能、沼气、核力发电等发电厂，现在我们用的电大多数是由火力发电厂供给的，众所周知，火力发电厂发电是使用煤炭。日常生活中到处都有它的存在如：电灯、电脑、电视机、空调……夏天来临的时候，热浪滚滚，让人汗流浃背。打开空调，一股清凉的风飘出来，人顿时暑意全消。但是，在享受空调的同时，又有谁会想到空调温度应该设置在26摄氏度以上，因为一般空调夏季制冷时，室内温度最多能够达到22度左右，调的太低，压缩机是不会停机的，不仅耗电量大，也对空调的寿命有影响。就空调一样，已经消耗那么多电资源，如果把所有家电都启动，那就消耗地更多，地球上有那么多的千家万户都在使用电器，我不敢想象全世界该需要多少的煤炭来发电啊！

我们的日常生活离不开各种资源，电视上经常报道油田、煤矿的开采情况，好像人们使足了劲要把地底下的天然资源给挖出来似的，总有一天会挖掘完。可是，我们人类却一点也没有注意到，为了满足日益增长的需求肆意开采，破坏了地层和环境还对人类的生活产生了极大的影响，虽然人类满足了现在的需求，可是我们是不是应该想想未来、甚至更远的。那时候，资源没了，人们靠什么生存？今年我去上海世博会的时候，地球馆里的展览让我极为震惊。照目前的开采规模，石油天然气最多够耗50年，煤炭最多够耗100年；到2020年，地球上的大多数矿产资源包括铜、铝、锡、锌、金、银等都将被开采完毕。到那时，人类没有了这些东西，就很有可能灭绝，就像以前侏罗纪时代的恐龙一样消失。

我们住的房子都是用水泥和钢筋造成的，可是你们想过吗？水泥和钢筋会对环境造成多大的影响啊！水泥在烧制过程中向大气散发较多的温室气体和小部分有害气体，在采石过程中，会对山体生态环境造成难以抚平的客观不可逆性毁坏，在使用过程中，由于其受低温或高温影响，容易产生冻结或板结，所以实际与沙、石膏混合做混凝土时，都要添加防冻剂或其他添加剂，而这些添加剂随着水泥建筑的完工，天长日久，水分散发，或与酸雨发生化学慢反应，会逐渐释放有毒有害气体。这些问题有谁去想过，又有谁去考虑过呢？水泥房的危害对人类算是大了，还不如远古时代用原木建造的房子呢！用木头建造的房子设计合理、美观，不仅对人体有益，还可以循环使用，钢筋水泥却不行。我倒不由得敬佩起古人来了！

现在，随着经济社会的发展，大多数的家庭都拥有了汽车，一辆辆汽车在马路上奔驰着，一阵阵尾气也随之而来。以前的马路上很少见到汽车，只有黄包车、自行车等，马路上的空气也比现在要清新。而现在的马路上，尾气随着车子的奔驰，也变得满天飞。站在马路边吸一口气，鼻子里就充满了一种说不清楚的难闻气味，这种毒气对环境的污染很大，尾气中含有一氧化碳、氧化氮以及对人体产生不良影响的其他一些固体颗粒，尤其是含铅汽油，对人体的危害更大。汽车尾气的污染对地球上的生命构成了极大的危害，严重污染了环境。

生活中的水、电、衣、食、住、行，对环境的污染多么大啊！但是只要我们共同节约用水、电，热爱生活，热爱城市，每人都去注意生活中的一个小细节，环境将变得更美好。在此我呼吁大家，让我们一起创造更美的生活！“凤箫声动，玉壶光转，一夜鱼龙舞。”这是多美的场景啊！美丽的城市需要我们去创造，魅力的生活需要我们去建立！BetterCity，BetterLive！
