1. I often go to see my grandma and grandpa during winter vacation. They are both seventy years old an live in the country happily. I can do many interesting things there. During the winter vacation，nothing is different of my life. I wake up 11 oclock Am everyday，after a washing，I have a good lunch with my parents. Next ,I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner, I go on playing till 2 oclock Am， and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day of my winter vacation.

我们毕业了，就像一个大大的句号，从此，我们告别一段年少轻狂的岁月，一个充满幻想的时代……毕业的前些日子，时间过的好像流沙，看起来漫长，却无时无刻不在逝去；想挽留，一伸手，有限的时光却在指间悄然溜走，毕业答辩，散伙席筵，举手话别，各奔东西……一切似乎都预想的到，一切又走的太过无奈。

Today, my parents took me to my grandfather’s home.I talked with my grandfather for a little while and then I played with my brothers and sisters.

Leo Tolstoy once said, everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.

He is right. We always have great plans and dreams in our minds… too ready to achieve something grand thatChanges the world or benefits all of mankind .For example; we hate pollution and have made up our minds to find new energy sources that keep the environment clean. Yet we still litter on the ground. We complain about traffic jams, so we plan to build more highways to solve the problem, but it never occurs to us that our failure to follow traffic regulations is the leading cause of this situation. We are so concerned that the violence in the media has a bad impact on our children, we urge the government to set laws to protect them. But, do we, as adults, set a good example for our kids? We use nasty words and even spit on the ground in front of them, I dare to say, we harm more!

In my opinion, before we decide to change the world, we had better change ourselves first. As ordinary individuals, we do not have the power to change the world. But we can change our habit of littering, spitting, cussing, we can respect the environment around us, we must act as good models for our kids.

If each of us does all of these little things, all of us, millions and millions of individuals together, together we will be strong …strong enough to change our world!

So please, the next time you do something, think how your actions influence not only you, but those around you too, especially our children …and perhaps more importantly…our planet!

在我看来，在我们打算改变这个世界之前，我们最好先改变一下自己。作为一个普通人，我们其实没有改变这个世界的能力，但是我可以改变我们随地扔垃圾，随地吐痰的坏习惯， 我们应该学会去保护环境，我们应该为我们的孩子起好的表率作用。

My Dream School

I always feel tired after eight classes a day, so my dream school starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. There are three lessons in the morning and two in the afternoon. We can choose our favorite lessons to learn.

We can spend more time doing some outside reading. The students do after-school activities for one and a half hours every day. We needn’t do a lot of homework. We are all happy to stay at school.

Besides that, my dream school looks like a big garden. There are many kinds of flowers around the modern buildings. Sweet perfumes are diffused all around. If I want to have a rest, I can lie on the grass, listen to music by the lake or look out at the flowers from the classroom windows.

I love my dream school. We will grow up to be happier there.
