In my 18 years of life， there have been many things. University days are the best part of them. I can never forget the days when I stepped into my university. After the arduous military training， I get absolutely absorbed in my studies. The classes given by the teachers are excellent. They provide us with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well. They easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as I can.

Frankly speaking， at first I had some difficulty following the teachers. However， through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers guidance， I made remarkable progress. Now Ive benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports.

Learning is a long process; Ill keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself. This summer I got out of the ivory tower and entered the real world. A publishing house offered me a part-time job in compilation and revision.

At the beginning I was belittled by my colleagues. But they were really surprised when I translated seven English articles over 5，000 words on only one day. Gradually， they began to look at me with respectful eyes. In their opinion I turned out to be a useful and trustworthy colleague.

Campus life is the most splendid time. But different people have different choices. Qingming rain have, the pedestrian on the road." Another Qingming Festival has arrived. In the morning, when our family got up early, they went to Beishan to pay for the old lady. In the year when Lao Tai died, we all missed her old man. The old mans life is full of hardships and tiredness. The old man died early. The old woman used her weak shoulders to stir up the burden on her family, and she brought up her grandmother and uncle by herself.

In every young generations mind, Lao Tai represents hardworking, brave and kindhearted. I remember once, when our family just had dinner, the old lady raised her sleeves and stretched out her bare hands and exposed hands to wash dishes for us. I asked, "old man, why is your hand so ugly?" grandma heard to me: "children, we can grow up, we can go to school and be educated, all by the old mans hands to wash clothes for others to earn money." After hearing this from grandma, I hung my head from guilt. The old lady said, "when you catch up with the good times, we must cherish and study well, and become a useful person for the future." In my memory, no matter when, old woman wearing clothes are washed clean, please tell them. Wearing a neat, spiritual God.

I will always remember that old lady often visited her before she died. She was lying in bed weakly. Her eyes had lost their former beauty. But I can feel her sadness and bring to us on several good expectations from his old eyes.

Before the tomb of Lao Tai, we lifted the weeds, planted the soil and placed flowers on them. I also sprinkled the old ladys favorite wine around the grave.

I stood in front of Lao Tais grave and said softly, "old lady, are you okay in heaven?"

I like spring best because spring is so beautiful! Its warm and sunny in spring, so I can have a picnic with my family and friends. We often go to park at weekends. We bring lots of food and drinks. My favorite food is sandwiches and I like tea best. We can also enjoy reading there. And we often fly kites there. We have a great time! I love spring!

It was the second day of our summer holiday. I felt good. I felt I’m free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Beijing. So I live alone but I don’t feel lonely. I like to watch fictional movies and novels, because I am always attracted

by the unpredictable plots, which opens my vision. In the fiction movies, aliens

How time flies! I have studied in my school for three years. And I will graduate from the middle school in a month. I am eager to share my happiness and sadness with you.

I had so many memories in three years’ life. One of them impressed me very much. When I began to learn English, I found it too difficult. No matter how hard I tried, I still couldn’t do well in it and almost gave it up. As soon as my English teacher found my problem, she had a talk with me about how to learn English well. Since then, she has kept helping me. Little by little, I’ve become interested in English and I’m good at it.

I think I am so lucky to become one of her students. I’ve learned a lot from her. I will try to help others when they are in trouble. I think it is a happy thing to help others.

Most Chinese students have difficulties in learning English. The difficulties vary so much from person to person that it is difficult to cite here in a few words. Some may have problems in reading. Others may have trouble in writing. I also had problems in English learning, but my difficulty seemed to lie in listening. For example, when tested for listening comprehension, I couldnt understand a single sentence, let alone a passage of medium level.

In order to overcome the difficulty in my English learning, I made great efforts to find the key to the problem. I consulted my teacher and found out that I merely didnt have enough time to practice listening. So I bought a tape recorder and listened to it at least two hours a day. In addition, I listened to "Special English" on VOA. I also went out of my way to speak to foreigners on the campus whenever we meet so that I could have the chance to listen to the native speakers. After half a years hard work, I could get 70% of the questions correct in listening comprehension tests.

I own my success to my English teacher. It is him who tells me the correct way to learn English. It is him who always encourages me when I encounter difficulties and feel disappointed.
