我们高二的几位老师都有同感：学生的作文越来越难改，批改一篇作文花上的时间要比写一篇作文的时间还要多，而学生也越来越害怕作文，不喜欢写作文，甚至讨厌、不写作文。这个既令学生又另老师伤脑筋的问题还真不容忽视。为此，我们几个一起查询资料、讨论，以求找到解决的办法。现简单小结一下，以促进今后的英语教学。

一、 向学生解释英语写作的重要性。

英语写作能力的提高需要持之以恒的长期训练。如果学生对写作重要性认识不够，他们就不能积极主动地去配合老师搞好写作训练，甚至产生逆反心理，产生对立情绪，英语写作就会半途而废，达不到预期目的。因此在平时教学中，老师要经常性地有意识地对学生进行写作重要性的教育。学生一进入高中就要让他们了解初中和高中英语教学要求的异同。

二、指导学生写作时值得注意的几个问题：

1.教师要有明确合理的教学计划和教学程序，组织系统规范的有序训练。刚开始的时候，我们要求所有学生至少每周写一篇作文。而不少学生因为英语基础太差，写作相当困难。因此作文迟迟交不上来。基于这种情况，后阶段作文我们对于部分学生适当放宽了要求。

2.坚持循序渐进的训练原则。写作要先易后难，先短后长，先学会运用简单句、并列句，后学会用复合句表达，先写正确句子逐步过渡到围绕一个人、一件事、一个观点去写有中心的文章，由不限定时间到限定时间，由限定时间长到限定时间短，由限定字数少到多……同样，不少学生，尤其是对英语不感兴趣的一些男生每次写作时总是以“不知道”为由不写。我找他们谈话，鼓励他们哪怕是先写自我介绍。第一次就写出自己的姓名，出生年月和出生地。第二次你还可就自己的爱好写一两句或者介绍自己的家庭也可。学生哈哈笑了：这个容易。但事实上就这么简单的他们也犯了不少错误。这使我更明白了对于学生不能急于求成。

3.分程度要求。当今的素质教育主张分层次教学，对学生的要求不能一刀切，对学习好的要求要高，对学习差的要求要适当低一些。要避免有些学生轻而易举而沾沾自喜，而有些学生却无从下手。

4.注意讲评。任何人都喜欢听好话，学生也一样。因此我们要经常指出学生的优点，提高他们的积极性，同时委婉地指出缺点和错误，避免以后重犯。

5.基础知识和能力并重，听说读和写并举。在平时教学中应充分利用一切可以利用的机会启发引导学生提高自己的写作水平。如遇到优秀的句、段或篇提示学生注意欣赏作者的表达法，把它们作为范例，在自己写作中加以模仿和运用。又如遇到英汉表达方法不同之处，提示学生注意英语的正确表达法，切忌出现汉语式的英语。要帮助学生养成正确运用标点符号的好习惯，切忌一点到底的错误方法。

6.要求学生在写作中宁简勿误，不能养成随随便便的习惯，要养成严谨推敲的作风。

师：这样看来，能发现这些材料的只有两种情况，一种是自己就是个“无人疯”，其次是你无意中偷窥到别人的自我陶醉。第四个“疯”——玩得“疯”。（板书：玩的“疯”）这个“疯”，谁能理解，别把同学往坏处想。

生：不是指玩闹得疯，是指有某些方面的特长，是经历过“疯玩”后，形成的某种技能，比如打乒乓球很牛，轮滑溜得很棒等。

师：说得好，大家就照你的理解来写。请四组的组长起立。在本节课上，各组先选择一个“疯”来写，之后我们再串联起来成为一篇文章。

师（指一位组长）：你们组选择哪一类材料？想写多少字？

生：想写“无人疯”，大约写150字。

生2：学习“疯”子—魏嘉辰,他的疯劲无人能敌啊！大家都知道蔡老师的作业全年段最少,一天才三项,有一段时间,我和他同桌,我看见他的预习笔记常常抄满了整整一页,也不知道这要花多少时间啊呀！有时候他一中午就把老师布置的作业全“扫荡”干净了,这功夫真令人佩服。不仅如此，我很经常发现，既便下课了他也很少休息,只是拼命的读书,做作业,够疯的吧。

生3：无人 “疯”就是丁樊同学。我也是偶然发现他的“疯劲”。有一次社会实践,男生一起洗浴。他突发奇想,拿着洗发露的瓶子,模仿歌星大唱《大话西游》里的歌曲“ONIY ONE”,可真令同学们刮目相看,平时上课时,他从来没有这么积极举手发言,没想到在无教师看管的情况下，他竟如此疯狂呀。

人物ＮＯ．１：此人名曰黄晨奕，是个不折不扣的“学习疯”，此人一到六年级，他在班上没有一个朋友，也没说过任何一句话。与他做伴的，只有漫天的练习卷和堆成山的课本。每节课下课和自习课他都在对自己实施“题海战术”。我衷心祝福他早日取得应有的好成绩。

人物ＮＯ．２：此人名曰郑哲晖，是一个典型的电脑“玩得疯”。注意！各位不要把这句话的意思搞错了，不是他玩电脑玩疯了，是他快把电脑玩疯了！此人编程、上网、搞动漫、游戏下载……关于电脑的“十八般武艺”是样样精通。不过这是有代价的，他的鼻子上架了一副１５０度的眼镜。但愿他别那么疯狂，早日恢复正常。

人物ＮＯ．３：此人名曰周尊庆，他可是“真的疯”啦。我们全班都怀疑他是不是练了武当派的轻功“梯云纵心法”。下课铃声响了不到十秒，他就已经狂奔在操场上了。上课铃响了，他未跑回来。真的是来无影，去无踪，到了轻功的最高境界。希望他能多一些自我控制。

I understand your well-respected college offers a number of places to overseas students every year, and I am writing to enquire about the application procedure.

I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been studying for the past five years. I passed the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination last year with distinctions in English and History, and credits in Economics and English Literature. My advanced-level subjects are History, Economics and English Literature. In addition to these subjects, "Use of English" is also a compulsory subject because a pass in English is a minimum requirement for admission to most faculties of the University of Hong Kong.

Apart from academic work, I have been actively involved in extra-curricular activities. I am Chairman of the English Club and I have represented my school in many inter-school contests.

On the advice of my friends, I have decided to further my studies in England because I wish to widen my horizons and benefit from the scholarly heritage of your country.
