There is no doubt that human activity has an effect on the planet. We see the evidence of mankind’s endeavors all around us. For example, the transportation systems that benefit mankind also create pollution and use up valuable energy resources. While we cannot do without transportation these days, we cannot ignore the fact that it has an adverse effect on the planet. Furthermore, those advances that benefit people do not benefit al the life on Earth. Deforestation endangers many animals, and mankind’s great thirst for water and other resources leads to the extinction of many plant forms. In addition, accomplishments such as the supply of potable water to a community are only response to problems that mankind created in the past. It was man that made the water unfit to drink in the first place. Finally, the damage that human activity causes will eventually have a negative effect on people. They will also suffer the effects of pollution and diminishing natural resources.

In conclusion, it seems apparent that man’s activity benefits primarily himself, not the Earth. Moreover, those benefits are only short-term advantages, and man will also suffer the negative effects of his activity in the future. The Earth does not have an inexhaustible supply of resources, so every effort should be made to conserve resources and limit the impact of human activity on the planet.

二、强势宣传，切实增强交通安全意识。精心组织开展交通安全知识的宣传教育活动。

(一)校外，亲身感受，培养学生的自护能力。为开展交通安全日实践活动，锻炼学生的实际能力，组织德岗学生外出“交通安全日在行动”活动，学生外出维护校外主要交通道路秩序，感受交通存在的潜在危险，身临其境，让学生感受“抵制七类违法安全文明出行”的重要性。同时，签订安全责任书，让学生掌握了有关交通安全法规常识，对维护学校秩序，疏导交通，宣传交通法规起到了积极而有效的作用。

1、交通安全知识教育课。我们利用班会课，专门设置“交通安全知识”为内容的课程，备好课，上好课，使全校师生受教育率达100%，实现了交通安全教育进学校的目的，交通安全知识讲座使全体学生深受教育。

2、组织学生观看《珍爱生命，安全第一》交通安全宣传片，通过电影中一些场景感染学生，并通过写观后感提升安全意识。此外，我们网络搜索有关交通安全的图片资料、电影片，并将交通安全有关的道路交通法律、法规、交通标志牌和事故案例图片等展板，在学校电子白板内进行展览。

3、利用各种载体，广泛开展“文通安全日”活动。具体做好以下工作：在学校电子白板上宣传“122”交通安全日和它的主题，各班黑板报出“交通安全专版”进行宣传;校园都设置了交通安全教育标语和宣传画;进行题为“抵制七类违法安全文明出行”征文比赛;学习活动取得显著成效。

4、加强对学校师生自行车、电瓶车、摩托车、汽车的管理，严禁学生骑车，教育教师严格做到“安全行车、规范停车”，通过教育、检查等形式制约师生遵守交通法规以及校纪校规。

Soccer is the most popular sport in the world.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the game I would like to give a brief introduction. 2 teams of 11 players compete on a soccer field at once. They can only touch the ball with their feet, head and chest. If they use their hands, the ball is given to the other team. Only the goalie can use hands. The objective is for each team to score on the opposing teams goal.

In 2004, the president of the International Confederation of Association Football, or FIFA for short, confirmed that soccer originated from China during the Warring States Period in 476-221 B.C. However, even though they followed the no-hands rule it was still very different from the soccer we know and love today.

Soccer changed and developed over the next centuries as it traveled through different countries around the world.

Modern day soccer started in England about 200 years ago. In May 21 1904, FIFA was established in Paris. From 1930, a World Cup would be held every 4 years.

Soccer is already a sport that we need in our life. There are about 800 thousand teams that usually play in matches. There are about 40 million players that signed up. There are a 100 thousand professional players.

As I mentioned before, traditionally, soccer matches have consisted of 11 players; however, now other competitive options are available including, five on five, seven on seven, and even beach soccer.

Soccer is really a sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and ability. I have loved playing for more than half of my life and I know that if you start today you will too.

今天我们去了安全体验中心去体验了一下自然灾害的到来。

我们首先体验了打结。老师给我们每人发了一条绳子，第一个结叫8字结，方法很简单，就是把绳子的两边系在一起，一个是左边的绳子压在右边的绳子上系一个结，一个是右边的绳子压在左边的绳上再系一个结，就完成了。想把这绳子解开，就要把有结的方向转到自己的左边，然后把上面的绳子往下使劲一拉，再把结往上一拉，绳子就解开了。

第二个结是固定结，系的方法稍微有一点难度，先把绳子在手指上绕三圈，要分好动结和不动结。到第四圈的时候把绳子斜盖过那绕好的三圈，再把下面的绳子打好结，至少要系三下。解开固定结的方法就是怎么系的，怎么解开。

这次的体验我最喜欢打结，因为打结可以锻炼我们的动手能力，那里还有好多项目呢，我就不一一介绍了。

"We wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a merry Christmas"Have you heard that song? Yup! Its Christmas time! This Christmas, I stayed with my "host family"1. It was an amazing experience to see how a typical American family would celebrate the biggest western festival of the year.

Christmas, like our Spring Festival, has a meaning in itself. Christmas Day, which is on December 25, is the birthday of Jesus Christ--the son of God. Thats why it is called Christmas. On that day, Christians would get together with their families to celebrate the birthday of Jesus. But nowadays, the religious meaning of Christmas has become less emphasized. To many families, it is just a time of family reunion and the ever-exciting present-giving.

Our school had been on winter vacation since December 11. I stayed at my friend, Stephen Stapczynskis house--his family was my "host family". Although Christmas was still more than ten days ahead, the festive spirit had already been teeming everywhere. The Christmas tree had already been set up, and on every windowsill, there were Christmas lights. On the first day I arrived at their house, Stephen and I helped Mrs. Stapczynski put decorations on the Christmas tree. The tree looked so nice with all the lights on and the beautiful ornaments dangling from its branches.

As Christmas came closer, the whole neighborhood had made preparations too. Some people would hold parties at their houses, inviting all their neighbors to come. So every night, if you went out, you would see a long line of cars parked in front of some house--a partys on!

Whats more, the Christmas decorations that some people put on their windows and in gardens were just amazing. On one night, we went out in our car for a "tour of lights". There was one street that was so famous for its lights that it got its way into the local paper. We had a hard time finding the well-hidden street, but it turned out to be worth the effort. Lights shone brightly in front of nearly every house, on trees, bushes, doors, windowseverywhere, taking different shapes, making it seem almost like daytime. Huge inflatable figures in the front gardens were waving to us: there were Santa Clauses2, of course, chuckling merrily away; and there were also other Christmas figures, like Rudolph3--the red-nosed reindeer--with his red nose gleaming ever so brightly; even Bart Simpson--a character in the famous comedy The Simpsons--had joined the jolly party, wearing a Santas hat. The street set off a lot of "ooh"s and "aah"s inside the car.4 When we left, there was a line of cars in the street, all there to see the lights.

Christmas is the time for exchanging presents. Stephen and Niko had been thinking about their Christmas lists (a list of things they wish "Santa"to give them for Christmas) for a long time. I didnt want to ask for anything, but the Stapczynskis were so kind to "force"me make one list as well (Mr. Stapczynski told me if I didnt make one he would chop off my legs). So I wrote down a couple of things that I would like to have, and gave the list to them--sorry, my mistake--to Santa.

Finally, Christmas Eve came. There was a special Christmas service at the church at 6 p.m. It was certainly a very interesting experience for me. The priest started the service reading and sang out extractions from a holy book--The Divine Liturgy. For several times, we would stand up and pray.

Sometimes, the church choir would start singing. The atmosphere was very quiet and holy. Then there was a ceremony called "The Receiving Communion". People waited in line to "receive"a spoonful of food from the priest. It was a very special Christmas tradition. The food was made from bread and wine. The bread represents the body of Jesus, and the wine represents his blood. After this ceremony, the priest had a speech. He reminded us not to forget the true meaning of Christmas, and let Jesus really live inside us--that is, to love the people around us wholeheartedly. I think that no matter if you are a Christian or not, this principle should be part of our lives. After the priest finished his speech, the part that I enjoyed most came: Christmas carols5. Christmas carols are songs that people sing at Christmas, such as "Jingle Bells", "We Wish You a Merry Christmas", "Silent Night"and so on. Some were very merry, others sounded quite holy, but all of them were beautiful. I closed my eyes, and let all the peacefulness and happiness that were in the songs flow through me. What a feeling it was!

We went to sleep earlier that day for we had to get up early on Christmas Day to open our presents. Sure enough, when I was still half-way during a sweet dream, Stephen burst into my room and told me to get up and open presents. There were a huge pile of presents under the Christmas tree, and there was such a mysterious mist shrouding them that made me eager to see what they all were. So one by one, we went through all the presents. Mr. and Mrs. Stapczynski had bought me everything I had written on my Christmas list--and a lot more! I got music CDs, film DVDs, clothes, books I was very happy, and I didnt know how to express my appreciation for what they had done for me.

Stephen and Niko had gotten a lot of presents too, and they had already been trying out their new games!

In the afternoon, we went to Mrs. Stapczynskis brother, Uncle Stans house. They had prepared a marvelous meal for us. A lot of their friends and relatives also came. I saw Stephen and Nikos grandparents, Yiayia and Papou (words of grandma and grandpa in Greek--Mrs. Stapczynskis parents came from Greece, so they like the boys using Greek words to call them). They were very kind to me, and treated me just like one of their family members. We had a very luxurious meal, consisting of turkey, beef, pork, and all sorts of other food.

After the meal, when all the stomachs were full and everyone was feeling drowsy6 from all the food, we just sat around the table and chatted, just like what we Chinese people do at the Spring Festival. After all, Christmas, like the Spring Festival, is a time for us to get away from our busy lives, a time for family gathering, and a time to have some fun.

4月27日，市人民检察院、市食品药品监督管理局、江州区人民检察院、江州区食品药品监督管理局在崇左火车站广场设点开展食品安全宣传活动。

在新修订《食品安全法》颁布一周年之际，4月24日起，市检察机关、市食品药品监督管理系统联合开展主题为“关注食品安全，健康你我家人”的食品安全宣传周活动。宣传周活动以市县联动的方式，市县两级检察院和食品药品监督管理局分别联合走上街头，设点宣传，通过制作展板、分发宣传资料、现场咨询、现场演示等形式开展活动。各县还利用各乡镇的圩日设点宣传，走进社区、企业、学校发放宣传资料，提供法律咨询、现场解答等服务。

据了解，此次宣传周活动重点宣传2015年4月24日颁布的《食品安全法》《关于办理危害食品安全刑事案件适用法律若干问题的解释》，2015年12月22日发布的《食品药品行政执法与刑事司法衔接工作办法》，检察机关围绕《食品安全法》的规定重点监督的各个环节风险点，食品安全专项整治工作中取得的成果和打击食品安全违法犯罪的典型案例，食品安全常识及辨别假冒伪劣食品和有毒有害食品的基本知识，食物中毒应急处置与预防相关知识，消费者权益、义务及群众举报投诉的途径等。

有一句话，叫“民以食为天。”由此可见我们的生活与食品有着多么密切的联系啊!说到食品，我们便会想了，我们身边的食品安不安全;卫不卫生呢?我们许多人都会这么想。 最近的孔雀石绿、苏丹红等这些是已经被“消灭”了，还有红心鸭蛋等还没完全被解决的。不过就算它们现在已经给解决了，可是我们还要担心“它们”还会不会在不就的将来卷土重来呢?想到这里，我就不禁想到了在幕后不断“制造”这一些危害人生安全的食品的人。于是我就发出了这样的疑惑这些人是为了什么?我想还是为了一个字——钱，钱是魔鬼得意的诱饵。因为钱，这世界上发生过多少次的谋杀、抢劫和盗窃?谁能想到这么一张张的钱币，竟是想监狱和法庭输送罪犯的“供应商”?

也就是因为了钱产生了：人工合成甜味剂(糖精钠、甜蜜素)和防腐剂(苯甲酸钠、山梨酸钾)等食品添加剂的使用情况。因此，我十分的想些人明不明白，他们的“产品”危害了多少人?有许多的人因为吃了这些所谓的“卫生、安全食品”而上吐下泻乃至丢了性命的! 不过，我想，除了批评那些只知道赚钱而不顾及他们身体健康、安全的人以外，我们还要提高自己的防范意识!如：苹果过于的发亮说明苹果可能打过蜡。葡萄上的白斑过多可能就是农药使用过量。这些说明，防御食品中人为的添加化学物质、有害物质有些是可是用肉眼或简单的方法检验出来的。来吧，让我们一起来为我们的健康、安全而奋斗吧!杜绝有害食品，还我们一个健康的身体!受人青睐的绿色食品

当你去超级市场采购时，你是否注意到，有些奶粉、茶叶、咖啡、果脯、饮料等的包装袋(盒)上都印有同样的图案——太阳底下的两片绿叶轻托着一枚绿芽，这就是“绿色食品”的标识图案，这些食品就是大名鼎鼎的“绿色食品”。

你也许会感到奇怪，绿色食品不就是那些绿色的蔬菜、水果吗?怎么连奶粉、饮料之类也成了绿色食品?其实，绿色食品是指安全、营养、无污染类食品。那绿色食品的标识图案告诉我们，绿色食品出自纯净、无污染的环境，能给我们带来勃勃的生命力。绿色食品为什么受人青睐呢?这要从环境污染说起。环境污染问题是困扰全人类的重大问题，它使人类生存受到了威胁。因为人的食物结构中，大多数食物来自田野里的农作物和禽肉鱼蛋等，如果动植物的生长环境受到污染，它们的体内就会积累起有害物质，这样，人吃了这些作物或用禽畜加工成的食品，就会中毒，影响人的健康。工业污水是重要的污染源。例如制造染料、农药、灯泡、电池、开关的工厂，它们排出的废水中通常含有汞，这些废水流入到江河里，使生长在河里的鱼儿体内含有了许多的汞。人吃了这种

鱼，汞便在人体内慢慢积累起来，这就是汞中毒。久而久之，汞中毒的病人会出现口齿不清、手脚麻木、耳聋眼瞎、精神失常等症状，甚至会死亡。农药也是重要的污染源之一。据统计，现在常用的400多种农药中，就有140多种农药含有毒性很大的有机氯。人稍有疏忽，吃了用这些作物做成的食品，轻者会出现头昏、呕吐、呼吸困难等症状，重者还会丧命。如果人长期慢性中毒，就会得白血并胃癌等不治之症??现在，因食物被污染而引起的中毒现象屡屡发生，人类的食源已亮起了红灯。随着生活水平的提高，人们对食物的要求也越来越高。“入口”的东西既要美味，又要有营养、卫生、无任何污染。因此，不含有害物质残留的绿色食品便成为人们渴望的食品，绿色食品的开发和生产也因此成为农业生产和食品加工的必然趋势。绿色食品犹如绿色的春潮，正快速涌进我们的生活。绿色食品的涵盖面十分广泛，它包括地里种的、水中游的等多种多样的食品，如餐桌上的粮食、蔬菜、鱼肉、鸡蛋、水果以及油、茶、酒、调味品等。绿色食品的生产要有严格的操作规程，如作物要在没有污染的地方进行栽培，以保护作物不受

污染;禽畜的饲料中，不准含有对人体有害的激素添加剂;制罐头、饮料的工厂中,使用的工艺设备必须无铅、锌等污染。绿色食品不但有利于人的健康，而且有利于提高人的素质。绿色食品标识已成为我国食品走向国际市场的通行证，在出口创汇中立下了汗马功劳。绿色食品带来的“绿色事业”是利国利民，造福子孙后代的事业。我期盼食品安全得到保障

二十一世纪，科学时代，人们的生活水平日益增高，人们也越来越关注食品安全，可就在最近几年食品安全事件却在不断发生，近几年的“多宝鱼致癌”“苏丹红”“问题奶粉”“病虫橘”事件，令人闻风丧胆。人人都期盼食品得到保障。

民以食为天，老百姓们的饮食得不到保证，何以来谈健康话题，一句顺口溜这样说：““吃动物怕激素，吃植物怕毒素，喝饮料怕色素，能吃什么心中没数”不知道，我们还能吃什么，摆在面前的菜，你敢不敢吃。怕里面有农药残留物，有虫子人心惶惶而且磨牙切齿，消费者对政府失去信心，对商贩失去信心。对生产者失去信心，我们竟没想到，我们会为了食品安全而担忧。

那些商贩的良心还在不在，他们为了那几个黑心钱，把自己的人格与道德无情的践踏。还要问那些生产者们，你们居心何在，有没有想过事情的严重性，把自己商业的信誉毁于一旦。最后问问政府，一次又一次的让不安全食品流向人群，进入老百姓的口中，难道这没有错吗?一切的一切全因你们而起。

期盼着，食品安全得到保障，但何时才能达到这一目标，除了政府部门加强监督外，也需要消费者们提高食品安全认识，不要随便买路边摊食品，与“三无”产品，更不要轻信广告，俗话说得好：“吃一堑长一智。”更需要那些幕后老板们留点公德心，希望不要为了一时利益，而付出更大的代价。

谁不期盼，能吃上放心的食品，期盼着，等待着......

《一路平安》——2016山东省“全国交通安全日”主题宣传活动今天在济南举行。活动现场，山东省公安厅发布了全省道路交通安全红色预警企业名单。

山东省公安交管部门对全省重点车辆责任单位实施预警管理，根据企业所属车辆发生道路交通事故造成人员伤亡或经济损失严重程度以及所属车辆、驾驶人的交通违法、检验及报废情况，实施累计计分，积分在15分及以上的列入红色监管范围。今年以来，全省共有562家企业被列入红色监管名单，其中达到50分以上的有58家。

What does beauty really mean？ Everybody has his own definition。

Some students think that a good face is a letter of recommendation。 Good appearance often makes a big difference in social communication， competition， finding jobs and so on。 Not only can it help you become more confident， but also it helps you be impressed。 Physical beauty is likely to draw much attention。 Others， however， hold the idea that good appearance will buy no beef。 Inner beauty is more important。A beautiful person is not the one with good looks， but the one with a broad and kind heart。 In my opinion， the standard of beauty changes with societies， cultures and nations。 Some hold the point that good appearance is of great importance， which is visible to all。 Others have the idea that inner beauty is the loveliest one， which lasts long。 However different they might be， their opinions are all acceptable。

为纪念中国共产党成立95周年，更深入地推进“两学一做”学习教育，6月21日站前街道红星社区在社区活动室举办迎“七一”“两学一做”知识竞赛活动，参加活动的有社区全体党员和社区工作者30余人。
