在生活中，我非常乐于帮助父母做一些力所能及的家务，如拖地、叠被子。有一次在外婆家，舅舅和舅妈去外地旅游了，外公、外婆忙着生意很累。于是我主动承担起照顾小表弟的任务，讲故事给他听、教他画画、帮他擦鼻涕，还给他喂饭。家人都夸我懂事、有担当。虽然还蛮辛苦，但是能为家人分担一些辛劳，付出再多也是值得的。

寒假中我还坚持写日记，把生活中一些有意义的事及时记录下来，同时也可以提高自己的写作能力。我时常勉励自己：“勤能补拙是良训，一分辛劳一分才。”

德、智、体要全面发展，平时参加体育活动也是必不可少的。我报名参加了武术班，它既可强身健体，在学习之余也可打套拳放松一下。

金无赤金、人无完人。我始终相信只要保持一颗执着追求、知荣明耻的心，总会在自己人生的画卷上，书写出一幅美丽的篇章！

你看，照片上的女孩笑的多甜。她的俩颗可爱的小虎牙都露了出来，她那黑棕色的眼睛里闪烁着兴奋与喜悦的光芒。

还记得那天下午，我像一只欢快的小鸟，飞进了伊丽莎白摄影馆，出示了“小星星英语学校优秀学生”的条子后，免费拍下了这张照片。当时，我心里比吃了蜜还甜。但，在这喜悦的背后也隐藏着丝丝痛苦。

五年级时，爸爸妈妈给我报了“小星星英语学校”的四场比赛。每天晚上，除了完成那堆积如山的

作业后，我早已头发晕，眼发花，真想一下子扑在床上不起来了。可是，当我经历了短暂的舒适后，又咬紧牙关，爬了起来。让自己又钻进小星星的课本里，继续拖着疲惫的身躯在英语的海洋里不停地游啊游!直到九点多，才结束工作，才能让枕头抱着脑袋舒服地睡一觉。每天早上，还要大声地练习。记得爸爸告诉过我：说有老师问我们家怎么那么早就放英语磁带呀。当爸爸告诉他们是我在练习朗诵时，老师们都说读得真标准呀。记得听爸爸这样说时，我的俩颗小虎牙都蹦了出来。现在想想，当时我或许是听了这些鼓励时才坚持下来的呢。终于，功夫不负有心人，我捧回了四个大奖。

It was the second day of our winter holiday. I felt good. I felt I’m free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Beijing. So I live alone but I don’t feel lonely. But I didn’t do something special.

I stayed at home and watched TV. Oh! I wrote an English daily composition. It was my homework. Today, I have slept for 14 hours. I thought I was very tired. It was time for dinner. I must go! I am very hungry.

有一次，一群调皮的孩子，来公园玩耍，小动物们个个惊慌失措，三个一群，两个一伍的结伴逃跑，而惟独蜗牛镇定自若，它缓缓的将头伸进躯壳里，显出一份傲慢，好像在对那些逃跑的小动物们说：“瞧！这就我的法宝！”

可当它再次伸出头时，它发现了一个奇异的世界，周围有高高的玻璃墙，一双双好奇的眼睛定着它，它终于尝到了万人之下的感受了。

它才恍然大悟：这个坚硬的外科，并不能将困难化解，反而会使自己陷入更加恐慌的局面。

是啊！面对困难，面对强敌，我们不能一味的躲避，而要敢于站出来与困难做斗争，与挫折做抵抗。俗话说：狭路相逢勇者胜。我们不能依赖这个看似温暖的保护，而要靠着自己的实力，不断地拼搏，进取。

1.厕所窃读记

一天下午放学后，我躲在房问里看《笑猫日记》。正看到精彩部分时，妈妈在楼下大叫：“吃饭了，快点下来！”我“噢”了一声，心想：早不叫，晚不叫，偏偏要在这个时候叫吃饭，真是的。

忽然，一个“金点子”在我的脑子里闪过：以拉肚子为借口，躲在卫生问里偷看。心动不如行动，我大声对妈妈说：“妈妈，我拉肚子啦，你们先吃吧！”

“噢，你马上下来，吃过饭我带你去医院看看！”

“知道了！”

妈妈走后，我拿着书大摇大摆地走进卫生间，坐在马桶上津津有味地继续看起来。忽然，我的眼角瞥见地上出现了一双熟悉的拖鞋。我心里一惊，猛地抬头一看，只见妈妈满脸怒气地站在我的面前。

2.夜晚偷看记

虽然我的窃读没有成功，但书还是像磁铁一样深深地吸引着我。这不，我又开始“冒险”了。

晚上十点，睡觉的时间到了。妈妈帮我关了房间的灯，伴着·连串的嘱咐出去r。等妈妈一走，我立刻开起灯，拿起《稻草人》，聚精会神地读起来。就在此时门“吱”地响了一声，我像只惊弓之鸟，迅速放下书，关上灯，躲进被窝。好一会儿过去了，房中丝毫没有动静。可我却不敢再开灯看书了，生怕妈妈在不知不觉间出现在我的面前。

我躺在床上，可书中的稻草人好像在不断地向我招手。我最终还是按捺不住诱惑，悄悄地下了床，拿出柜子里的玩具手电筒，用被子把身体盖得严严的，打开手电筒，如饥似渴地看了起来。眼睛酸了，也不休息；被子里闷极了，也不愿停下，生怕会惊动睡在隔壁的妈妈。第二天，妈妈见我眼睛红红的，又在床上找到了手电筒，立刻明白是怎么回事了。于是，我又免不了一次“思想教育”。

为了多看课外书，我不止一次地与妈妈理论，可妈妈总是以影响学习为由限制着我。直到在一次家长会上，李老师向家长们阐述了课外阅读的好处，并表扬了我和其他几个同学作文写得好，都是由于我们爱看课外书，注重课外积累。从那以后，妈妈再也不反对我看课外书了，而且还支持、鼓励我多看书，只要求我合理安排时间。我的看书历程终于从“地下工作”转正了。

According to a recent article on Newsweek concerning children’s’ education,

there is an increasing number of parents worrying their kids to an extreme

extent, depriving them of independence and freedom by keeping them around

parents all the time.

Some people applaud this phenomenon, suggesting that kids’ safety is the

most important. Thus, they’d better not enter the hazardous society without

supervision unless they become adults. From my point of view, some of their

opinion is correct but keeping children away from independence is a completely

erroneous decision. The reasons are as follows:

First and foremost, “locking kids” may hinder their healthy growth, both

mentally and physically. The kids who are locked may have heavy reliance on

their parents, as their comprehensive skills such as communication skills or

cooperative spirit being prevented from developing.

Secondly, what these parents fail to see is the fact that the crime rate

and accidents aren’t on a rapid rise. It is the abuse of mass media that make

crimes and violence more scary. The parents, who love their kids so much, are

completely forced to live under the illusion that our society is full of riots

or threats of accidents. Thus, kids can be allowed to have more freedom such as

walking to school by himself, for instance.

From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw a conclusion that

kids should be given more freedom by parents’ effort. At the same time, parents

should take many factors into consideration such as the time restriction for

children and the evaluation to kids’ maturity and capability. Only then can they

enjoy a safe and meaningful childhood.

My grandmother had a naughty rabbit, I gave it a name, called "Pippi", I really like it.

The Spring Festival is very important to Chinese people. In the past，people

could not often have meat，rice or other delicious food. They could only eat

these during the Spring festival. So every year they hoped that the Spring

Festival would come soon. Now， although people‘s life is much better，and we can

eat the delicious foods everyday. People still like the festival. Because most

people can have a long holiday，and we are free to go on a trip or visit our
