Im just writing to let you know that were all well, and I hope you are, too. Unfortunately, Ive got some rather bad news for you: Im afraid I made a bit of a mess of Johns car. Anyway, heres what happened.

We were on our way to Carols after a long party, and I suppose it must have been about eleven o’clock. Well, the last few miles back home were really dark and deserted. I now realize I was probably going a bit too fast for a country lane because, although the road was fairly straight, I drove up onto the curb and went into a tree.

Of course, John was absolutely furious and started shouting at me and cursing. After we d argued for a few moments, we decided to look at the damage, and he calmed down a bit. Well, we found we could move the car, but the wing was caught on the wheel, so we couldnt drive it. I tried to pull the wing clear, but I didnt succeed.

Anyway, John went off to phone for a breakdown lorry, but while he was away, I had another go at the wing and this time succeeded in pulling it right off. I threw it onto the back seat, and by that time John got back and we were ready to go?so we didnt need the breakdown lorry at all. John has more or less forgiven me now, but he was very angry with me for a few days. I suppose I was a bit careless.

In the Song Dynasty (宋朝) there was a joker called Sun Shan (孙山).

20xx年的圣诞节，我们全家到正大广场玩，回家时，妈妈说：“依麟，今天是圣诞节，圣诞老人一定会送你一件礼物，因为你是大家都喜欢的好孩子。”我一听，心中满怀期待，兴奋极了。

回到家，我洗完脸刷好牙，就走到圣诞树旁，认真的许愿：请送给我一个白色的生化人——伏魔侠吧！

躺在床上，我翻来覆去怎么也睡不着。“咚——咚——咚——”十二点的钟声敲响了。突然，“咯吱——”我的房门开了，只见一个身影蹑手蹑脚的走到我床边，我赶忙团成一团，眯上眼睛，假装睡着。只见那个人影把一个大大的东西放到我枕边的圣诞袜子里。然后亲了我一下，又悄悄地，蹑手蹑脚的走了——啊！那不是妈妈吗？我差点叫出声来。圣诞老人怎么会是妈妈呢？噢！我明白了，肯定是这样的：从小我就相信在遥远的地方有一位圣诞老爷爷，他总会在圣诞前夜送给听话孝顺的好孩子一份梦寐以求的礼物。妈妈知道了我的心意，为了不让我失望，每年她都会把我最想要的礼物通过圣诞老人的手送给我——想到这里，我忍不住热泪盈眶。这一刻，我好像长大了，深深的感受到了妈妈对我浓浓的爱。

这是一件在我成长生活中很平凡的事，却使我终生难忘。因为它让我体会到了妈妈的爱是那么温暖，在这个世界上，只有伟大的母亲才会这样保护孩子美好的愿望，并默默地帮助孩子实现美好的愿望。

我的外号叫“小书虫”，为什么呢？因为我特别爱看书，看着看着，我会忘记时间，忘记自我。因此，我与书的故事像天上的星星一样多，但是我记得最清楚的是那一次看书，看到忘记了一切。

三年级的一个星期六，我的妈妈在图书馆借了一本《皮皮鲁传》——这本书是我最喜欢看的。我拿到书，高兴得一蹦三尺高，再也没有心思写作业了。我拿起那本《皮皮鲁传》，迫不及待地翻开，津津有味地看了起来。

吃完饭后，我又在看。我感觉自己身临其境……看着看着，我似乎也被皮皮鲁的正义所感染了，一会儿为他的处境担心，一会儿又为他的胜利所激动。

“要睡觉了，十点了。”在书中的我，隐隐约约地听到了妈妈的声音。

“好。”我头也不回地回答道。可是，过了一会儿，我就又把妈妈的话忘得一干二净了。

书中的故事太精彩，我不能自拔地陷入书中的情节又继续看了起来。我的眼睛在那一排排跳动的字符中划过，手紧紧地抓着书，好像有人要抢走它似的······

不知不觉的，时间像流水一样溜走了，而我却浑然不知。忽然地，我如梦初醒，原来，书已经被我看完了。恍惚间，我仿佛又听到了妈妈的声音，我如同触电般回过神来，立刻翻下床，跑到钟前，时钟已经指向1点钟了！这时，我才感到困意向我袭来······

第二天，我成了个“熊猫眼”，闹出了大笑话。可这时心中想起莎士比亚说的话——书籍是人类进步的营养品。与书为伴，在书海中徜徉，记录着一个个美好的故事，也承载着我们之间许许多多跌宕起伏的故事！这就是我和书之间的故事。

I love computers. Love to what extent, I saw a computer, just like a sweet

幽暗的阁间里，仅是昏黄的一盏灯，没什么多余的光线。黑发少女正低头寻找着什么。“哗啦哗啦——”，翻着旧物的声音，掩不住眉间的喜悦。

无意间，手触到一个箱子——一个绑着胶带、布满灰尘、看起来年代久远的箱子。少女不禁微微眯眼，随即从一旁的桌子上拿了把剪刀。胶带被划成两半，映入眼帘的是一叠的照片。色调明显是上个世纪的产物，有些已泛黄，有些略微崭新。少女如视珍宝，捧在手心，没起身，就在一边的地上坐下来观阅。

有一张，是一个女孩。她歪着头，撑着一把如樱花般淡雅的伞，露出小小的、白白的乳牙。熟悉感涌上心头——好像是少女六七岁的时候，在家里把玩着外婆刚刚给买的伞。笑的天真无邪，身后灰色的水泥墙壁更像是水墨画。

又一张，似乎还是那个年龄，她坐在电动小马上。头发微微有些凌乱，细细的汗珠挂在她有些婴儿肥的脸上，满满都是笑意。少女嘴角微扬，

双颊泛红，少女翻阅手中的老照片，眸中不时有惊奇的闪光。突然，目光停滞，凝视着手中的一张，微微上扬的嘴角突然拉了下来，红了眼眶。

禁锢的栅栏被打开，记忆如潮水般涌来……

那是少女刚满三岁的时候，生日那天，一家人都在为她庆祝，还有一些亲朋好友一起围坐在桌旁，聊着家常，时不时向小寿星投去满怀爱意的眼神，并且起着哄。小女孩蘑菇头发型，神色有点慌张，眼神也十分迷茫，手中紧紧抓着一个新娃娃，根本不理解当时是什么状况。略微记得，那天大家吃了蛋糕，又玩起抹奶油的游戏。小女孩被抹了一脸的奶油，“哇——”的一声哭了，哭声如雷贯耳，一旁的大人们却都都哈哈大笑。那一刻，时间停止了，画面定格了，少女沉浸在照片的过去的故事里了。

那是能勾起无数回忆的瞬间啊!

终于，泪水逐渐滴下，落在箱子里，也落入了老照片的故事里。许久，少女缓过神来，如梦初醒般，平静地把照片叠好，锁上阁间的门。临走之际，她又回头凝视良久。少女知道，那些时光已是过去，那些美好的曾经，消磨在时间的长河里，只属于记忆。但，虽不能奢求回到过去，我们也可以穿梭未来。

月光透过门缝，门内，那只不起眼的箱子微微闪光。有些回忆，只适合放在那里;有些故事，只能够珍藏其中……

美好的一天

let me tell you what i will be when i grow up. i think languages are the most important tools of communication among people. each countrys languages, which are different, are interesting. so i want to be a translator. since i was a child, i have learned many kinds of languages. i like to make friends with people from other countries. if i can speak a lot of languages, i will have a lot of friends. i dont think being a translator is very easy. it must be very hard. but i want to try! so im studying english now. i want to be a translator in japan. its my dream and i believe i can do it.

Since I was very small, I was very shy in the public place, so I always

avoided giving performance in front of so many people. Though I tried hard to

get over it in school, I still felt uneasy in the public place. When I came to

the job market, I realized that I must get over my fear, or I would lose my

stage.

I still remembered the horrible experience for my first interview. Early in

the morning, I got a called that I was given a chance to the job interview. I

felt so excited. When I came to the company, I found there were other six young

people competed with me, then I started to feel nervous. The employers asked us

to sit in the round table and introduced ourselves one by one. When it was my

turn, I lowed down my head and spoke in low voice. Then the employers continued

to let us give speeches in the stage. I lose confidence and made the horrible

performance.

This interview taught me a lesson that I must get over my fear, or I will

lose chances. So I practise hard and dare to stand in the stage.

The spring festival is the most important festival for the chinese people and is when all family members get together, just like christmas in the west. all people living away from home go back, becoming the busiest time for transportation systems of about half a month from the spring festival. airports, railway stations and long-distance bus stations are crowded with home returnees.

Strictly speaking, the spring festival starts every year in the early days of the 12th lunar month and will last till the mid 1st lunar month of the next year. of them, the most important days are spring festival eve and the first three days. the chinese government now stipulates people have seven days off for the chinese lunar new year.

两个树洞

还有一次，我到学校的图书馆借书看，那门刚开，我就一下子窜上去了，从书架上拿了中国著名的史书——《史记》，这是西汉时期的文学家——司马迁所著，整本足有四五斤重，我把它放在桌子上，津津有味地读起来了。因为有部分文字是古文，所以我有的地方不懂。我就从书包中取出笔纸记下来。时间转眼便逝，图书馆的老师宣布要关门了，我赶紧收好书包，拿起书向外走去。“等等，同学你怎么把书也带走？”我……我……我也不知这是为什么，可能是看入迷了吧！我感到十分不好意思，我连忙把书放回原处，向图书馆的老师道歉。

读书已经成了我生命中必不可少的一部分，真是“三更梦中书当枕，半山绝自当早餐。”多少个旭日初升的早晨，多少个星斗漫天的夜晚，我都忘情地在这片书海之中遨翔。是书使我开阔了眼界，增长了知识；是书让我找到迷失自我的指南针；是书，使我从中获取精神营养让我在学习中慢慢成长；是书改变了我的一生……

书，是智慧的源泉，有多少人因他受益终身；书，是另外一个世界，能让你进步的同时，让你感到无限的快乐。书，是一种多么宝贵的东西呀！即令你一贫如洗，也没有任何栅栏，能阻挡你在书的王国里遨游的步伐。我就是这样一个很爱看书的小男孩，下面就看看我的读书故事吧！

记得那一次期末考试，我得了个全班第四名，我老妈为了奖励我，特地去把全套的《查理九世》给我买了回来，我高兴得一蹦三丈高。我等不及了，来到书房，立马打开书，一页，二页……我像一匹饿狼，贪婪地读着，我很快乐，这种沉浸在书中的滋味。到了下午两点，老妈又开始念经了：“儿子呀，快去补习英语了！迟到了就不好，那么……”“好，好，好，知道了。”没等妈妈说完我就打断了她的话，我合上书，咽了一口唾沫，好像还有一点犹味意尽，于是，我便萌生了一个想法，待妈妈走开后，迅速将《查理九世》装进包里，若无其事地出去了，果然我如愿以偿，拿出书边走边看，看了一页又想，故事中人物的悲欢离合使我牵肠挂肚，脚步也随之慢了起来，整个人恨不得直接钻到书中去。过了好一会儿，整本书终于看完了。我看了看手表，呀！下午五点了，还有半小时就下课了，于是，我急忙跑到教室门口叫了声“报告”，不出我所料，被老师骂得狗血淋头。回到家，妈妈又打又骂，我“呜呜”地哭了。不过我又一想，这本书终于看完了，呵呵，也值得！

“读书破万卷，下笔如有神。”我也似乎应征了这个道理，在四川省第二、三届中小学生作文比赛中，还得过优秀奖和二等奖呢！所以，我们要好读书，读好书，这样能让我们进步……书！我爱书！

阿尧有一个同桌，他的同桌性格很怪，当然，阿尧的性格也很怪，但他们有一个人共同点，那就是学习成绩都是学霸级别的，同学们常开玩笑，“唉哟！两个怪胎学霸聚到一起来了，天生一对啊！”每当这时，阿尧总是看向自己的同桌小慕，可他发现，小慕比他还不在乎，正若无其事的看书呢！

“慕小小，看一下你的笔记本，我的没抄完。”下课了，阿尧无比自然得向小慕伸出了手，小慕也将自己的笔记本顺手递给了阿尧，这不，后面的同学又开始窃窃私语，“这两对儿又在我们面前搞暧昧！”阿尧狠狠的瞪了一眼后桌的同学，虽然他知道这是开玩笑，但他注意到小慕的脸色似乎有些难看。后桌的同学翻了一个白眼，“咳咳！说你们了吗？再说，开个玩笑而已。”阿尧被堵得哑口无言。还是小慕解了围，“张尧，你到底看不看?”阿尧感激地笑了一下，“看！看！”后面的同学又窃窃私语起来，不过阿尧也不在乎，小慕不在乎，他还在乎什么。张尧飞速抄完笔记，便听起了歌，下节刚好是美术课，老师管得很宽松，班里乱哄哄的，老头子还在上面悠悠玩手机，老头子的格言是：人生有几个年头，自然要放松点儿，反正我的学生各个不是画家。不知上课多久，阿尧无意间扫了慕小小一眼，慕小小正盯着他说话，不过他确信慕小小没有看到他在看她，阿尧悄悄按了耳机的暂停键，仔细听慕小小再说什么。教室里很闹腾，阿尧竖着耳朵才听清楚，“……喜欢你。”阿尧听了半天，只听到这几个字。“张尧，我喜欢你。和你同桌的第二天开始。”慕小小顿了顿，看了阿尧一眼，确信他没听到才继续说下去。“现在，说出来我心里好受多了，我以后不会再喜欢你了。”恰巧，下课铃响了，慕小小无比轻松的走开了，阿尧松开手，转过身去，他早已感动。阿尧坐了许久，许久，他翻开本子，撕，笔记工整的写下，“慕小小同学，很荣幸收到您的表白，很幸运，我也喜欢你。”他早先不知道这是什么感觉，但他现在明白了，这是喜欢一个人的感觉。阿尧将纸条塞进慕小小笔袋的夹层里，看着慕小小上课取出笔袋，阿尧便偷笑。可是，慕小小并没有发现那张纸条。
