刚打开门，我就看到了妈妈。突然那么拿出一本书，笑着对我说：“来，宝贝。看看你要的书。”我又惊又喜，一下扑到妈妈怀里，对她说：“谢谢您，妈妈。我以为你不会给我买呢！”妈妈故作生气地说：“傻孩子，你要的我怎么会不给你买呢？可是我想知道你的小金猪是怎么碎的？”妈妈说完，我们两个都笑了。

明天就要准备回家了，讲真，还是蛮不舍的，反正都要回去了，多替姥爷干点活才是正事！

一早起来，洗漱整装，然后进牛圈，赶牛出圈。平时做过六七次了，所以熟练到不行。我正充满干劲地打开门，迎面而来的是一只飞奔的小羊，正中我的膝盖。虽然不疼，但我，可是有自尊的！正准备到河边饮牛的姥爷过来了，我一把抱起小羊，放回羊圈，还一脸开心的说：“你看看，都跑出来了。”内心：“我从未见过有如此厚颜无耻之人！”

虽说牛是吃草的，牛粪也没啥味道，但是有些牛吧，非要把自己的屎拉到草里，这就又苦了我们几个了。大冬天的，牛粪跟草冻在一块了，还要把它与草用铲子分开，之后再铲到马车上，拉到粪堆。

干了估摸一个多小时吧，可算清完了里圈。接下来就是真正的主角出场了——一个月没清的外圈，看到堆积如山的牛粪时，我们脸上都是绝望的，么得办法，干就完了！

外面零下三多十度的寒风吹过来，带走了一片热血氛围。我正在推小车去粪堆，听见后面我妈叫了一声，急忙转身一看，这一看不要紧，小推车倒了。我：“妈，干啥？”我妈：“小心点，别倒了~”回头看了一眼满地的大块牛粪，默默拿起铲子，今天晚上我就要吃全牛！

一天的时间就这么出去了，清是清完了，桌子上也不负我们的期望，牛肉、猪肉、鸡肉……菜名都说不上来，只是眼花缭乱，鼻子都失去了作用，还说什么，开吃！

Thank you for a rapid response to our invitation. Enclosed you will find an outline of events to take place during International Week here at the University of Montana. I will also list a number of possible speaking engagements so that you can choose those things in which you are most interested. As far as topics are concerned, the topics for classroom visits are generally determined by the professor, but most professors are very flexible. We have approximately thirty-five faculty members that teach courses in Asian Studies, ranging from language and culture to history and economics.

Here is a tentative schedule:

Sunday, April 8th

10 am - Cultural Exhibition opens

12 am - International Festival begins with a speech by the university president and an introduction of visiting dignitaries

1-5 pm - Opportunity to visit festival, interact with student performers, taste foods

6 pm - Dinner with Director of Mansfield Center Phil West, Ambassador Mark Johnson, and staff of Mansfield Center

As you can see, there is tremendous interest in China here at the University of Montana. Please let me know if this outline suits your purpose, and if not, please dont hesitate to offer any suggestions for changes. We can arrange as many or as few speaking engagements as you have time for.

过端午节，一定少不了粽子!今天，姐姐就在教我包粽子呢!你瞧。

我把米放在叶子里，可米全撒在了桌上，我生气极了。姐姐对我说：“你要把叶子做成一个三角形的样子，然后再把米放进去啊!”

于是，我按照姐姐说的步骤作了一遍，在米上按了按，咦?旁边那个盘子中间放的是什么?原来是肉馅哦!我在糯米中间挖了一个小洞洞，把肉馅弄成圆状，塞入糯米中，让它也加入糯米的行列中。可怎么封好呢?我看了眼姐姐，就明白了一切。

我把翘起来的一片叶子按下来，并用绳子用力的扎紧。成功啦!我按照前面的方法，包了好多个。现在就要下锅了，先是把水烧开，然后把粽子放下去。

过了一会儿，粽子煮好了。大家四人坐在桌子旁，吃起了粽子。

我把绳子解开，正想把叶子摘掉，可我一碰，就被烫着了。姐姐看了，哈哈的笑了起来。我吹着吹着，把让热气吹走了。我再次小心翼翼的将叶子掀开，吃起了自己亲手做的香喷喷的粽子来——白白胖胖的糯米中间，包着一团鲜汁可口的肉馅，放入口中，不油不腻，又有嚼劲，感觉太好了!

端午节就这么过去了，嘴里吃着自己亲手包的粽子，心里想着我国唐代诗人杜甫写的诗：宫衣亦有名，端午被恩荣。细葛含风软，香罗叠雪轻。自天题处湿，当暑着来清。意内称长短，终身荷圣情。

这真是一个快乐的端午节!

那天，我感冒了，爸爸、妈妈起来赶紧骑自行车把我送到了医院。

天上下着细细的小雨，妈妈赶紧把雨衣给我披上，爸爸下楼弄车。我紧紧地抱着妈妈，爸爸骑着自行车我们直向医院赶去。到了医院妈妈帮我脱掉大大的雨衣，爸爸把车停好。一进医院，爸爸就赶去挂号，现在是春天，有好多人来看病，长长排队等候的人一直到头，真是人山人海!爸爸好不容易排到了队，他赶紧给我交费，我被安排去验血，医生开了治疗发烧的液体，爸爸又跑到病房找护士阿姨给我输液。

我的寒假生活丰富多彩，大家和我一起来看看吧！

放假一开始我就投入到学习中。我是这样学习语文的：先把学校的作业写完，之后再复习一下三年级（上）的课文，然后再预习一下三年级（下）的`课文，并认真做练习和妈妈布置的作业，我还阅读了几本书籍，比如说、《绿山墙的安妮》，《亲爱的汉修先生》，《草原上的小木屋》等，我还朗读了《三国演义》和《水浒传》。学习数学时我先学一起作业网的奥数，加强做计算、脱式计算和竖式计算，还读了与数学有关的书，比如《马小跳学数学》、《数学真有趣》、《数学小侦探》、《数学的奥秘》……在英语学习中我练习了英语字帖，和外教一起阅读英语绘本，在学习中我多听、多说，加强了语感。

写完了所有作业，我和爸爸妈妈一起去看望奶奶，我们一起在奶奶家过年，在除夕的夜晚里，我们一起放烟花，一起吃饺子，同样也没有忘记要跟亲戚们拜年，我家最热闹的时候就是在大年初一，所有的亲戚都来到我们家，大家一起拜年、吃火锅，大人们还给我们小孩子发了很多红包，多热闹啊！

Everybody will meet all kinds of difficulties during their lives, of

course, they are willing to accept success, but the fact is that no one can win

all the time, they will meet failure now and then. Fail is an unpleasant thing

to face, people treat fail a bad thing. While for me, I think we can learn from

failure and be a better man.

Everyone is afraid of facing failure, because failure brings them the sense

of frustration. When facing failure, people choose to avoiding talking about it,

Ji Anlived at the time of Emperor Wudi of the Western Han Dynasty (206 B.C.-A.D.24). He was respected for being upright and just and for daring to speak the truth. He was particular about actual effects and ,although he did not cause a stir ,he could keep the prefecture he governed in perfect order. Because of this. the imperial court transferred him to the central government from being the perfect of the Donghai Prefecture to being a commander in charge of the appointment and dismissal of the local officals.

Once,Emperor Wudi said that he would implement the policy of benevolence and justice of Confucianism and would do good turns to the people.Emperor Wudi Had hardly finished his remards when Ji An said that there was no need for the emperor to say so.Why should the emperor bother,Ji An said, about pretending to implement the policy of benevolence and justice since he was so greedy and avaricious within himself? This choked the emperor off. The emperor suddenly Changed his countenance and declared the meeting over. All the civilian and military officers at court were breathless with anxiety for fear that Ji An might bring disaster upon himself because of this. After returning, Emperor Wudi said to the people around him that Ji An was a little too rude and too straightforward.

For this reason ,Ji An was never promoted again. When he was the commander in charge of the appointment and dismissal of the local officials, both Gongsun Hong and Zhang Tang were low -ranking lfficials of little importance. Later ,they were promoted continuously. Gongsun Hong became the prime minister and Zhang Tang became the imperial censor. However, JiAns post remained thesame. One day, Ji An said to Emperor Wudi that the way the emperor used his ministers was just like piling up firewood, which meant that the latecomers surpassed the old-timers. Of course, Emperor Wudi could see that Ji An was complaining. So,turning to his ministers, Emperor Wudi said, "It is true that no one can stop learning.You see, Ji An is making more and more indiscreet remarks."

This story comes from The Historical Records. Later generations use the set phrase "the latecomers surpass the old-timers " to indicate that successors can cxcel the predecessors, which is quite different from the original idea when Ji An said that the latecomers surpassed the old-timers.

从此以后，汲黯的官职再也没有提升。他当主爵都尉的时候，公孙弘、张汤都还是不起眼的小官，后来，他们一个劲儿住上升，公孙弘当上了丞相，张汤做上了御史大夫，可他汲黯还蹲在原地没动窝。有一天，汲黯对武帝说，陛下使用群臣，跟码劈柴一样，是“后来者居上”啊！汉武帝当然听得出这是发牢骚。于是，转脸对臣下们说：“人真是不能不学习啊！你们听汲黯说话，越来越离谱了！”

故事出自《史记汲郑列传》。成语“后来居上”，往往指后起的可以胜过先前的。和汲黯说这话的原意，大不相同。

Failure is so common in our life. No one can avoid it. When we fail in

doing something, we often feel so depressed that we have no interest in other

things. Sometimes failure can also make us lose heart. Therefore, no one wants

to be a failure.

Success is what we all hope for, because it can bring us a sense of pride

and a good reputation. The moment we succeed, we always feel so proud, as if

having everything in our hands. If one enjoys his continuous success in his

career, he will be famous and worshiped by others.

However, failure is the mother of success. One failure doesn’t mean you can

never be successful. It depends on what we do to deal with failure. Those who

are always afraid of failure and can’t go through it will never win. But as long

as we can get some lessons and experience from our failure, we’ll be sure to

succeed.

放暑假了，妈妈带我去龙江参加英语生日会。

我们到了那里，我看到许许多多的小朋友在看动画片呢。这是，老师来了，给我们唱起来生日歌，我们非常开心。接着老师让我们做一个游戏。老师说：‘’让一个女生，一个男生上去。2人把双手高高举起，然后剩下的同学 手拉手在一起钻山洞，谁被捉住了就要换人。“游戏开始了，我们就都跑了起来。老师说：”STOP。“我被捉住了，我换人了，我后面的杨飞翼也被捉住了。

下面老师给我们发了一顶小帽子，小洋烛灯，还拿来三层的蛋糕，老师让我们手拉手，许一个心愿。开始吃蛋糕了，我们非常兴奋，坐在我旁边的小朋友吃的满脸都是。笑的我们乐开了嘴。
