Since I was very small, I was very shy in the public place, so I always

avoided giving performance in front of so many people. Though I tried hard to

get over it in school, I still felt uneasy in the public place. When I came to

the job market, I realized that I must get over my fear, or I would lose my

stage.

I still remembered the horrible experience for my first interview. Early in

the morning, I got a called that I was given a chance to the job interview. I

felt so excited. When I came to the company, I found there were other six young

people competed with me, then I started to feel nervous. The employers asked us

to sit in the round table and introduced ourselves one by one. When it was my

turn, I lowed down my head and spoke in low voice. Then the employers continued

to let us give speeches in the stage. I lose confidence and made the horrible

performance.

This interview taught me a lesson that I must get over my fear, or I will

lose chances. So I practise hard and dare to stand in the stage.

I am highly disappointed in the proposed 2004-05 budget cuts to educa1ion. Taking away basic aid status and slashing our school budgets is a recipe for educational disaster in our school. The future lies with our children. They must have access to high quality educa1ion.

My husband and I have worked hard to be able to live in a school district that provides high quality education for our children. Cutting funding in districts like ours will have a negative impact on property values.

The school that my daughter attends is hardly wha1 I would describe as a "rich" school. Parents are asked to pay for books for all the classes, science supplies and for their students to participate in the performing arts among other items. If our school is to remain a world leader in technological development, cutting our school funds is the worst possible choice to make.

Education funds should not be diverted away from education.

大家都有成长的故事吧！今天，我给大家讲两件我成长的故事。一件是我写字，另一件是练长笛。

先说我写字吧。我一年级时，字是班上最差的。在家里，父母让我去练书法。在学校，老师又想尽办法让我的字写好。可是，不管她们怎么努力，我的字总是写不好。有一天，老师在班上宣布：“铅笔字写得好的可以写圆珠笔，圆珠笔字写得好的可以写钢笔，但是谁要是写不好，就要退一级。”就这样，我使劲努力，在二年级下学期我可以写圆珠笔了，我继续努力，终于在三年级上学期末写上了钢笔。我现在上四年级，老师在每一次作文批改后写上：“字写得 。文面 。”让自己给自己评价一下。这样我可以知道自己的字写得怎么样。

接下来说一说练长笛。我是在二年级下学期学的长笛。开始的时候我愉快得很，后来才知道吹长笛是一件很令人头痛的事。我吹长笛时经常会嘴酸、头昏，所以吹得没有其他同学的好。爸爸鼓励我坚持练下去。我练了几个月后，成绩有了明显的提高，能吹国歌、出旗曲、退旗曲、少先队队歌等许多歌曲。教长笛的老师就让我到他家里练习，还教我认五线谱。

我家是一个三口之家，家庭生活十分幸福美满，但家里有时也会有一些风波，但是这些风波后也让我懂得了父母对我的爱

下午放学后，我背上书包，登上自行车疾驰到家中。但并不是为了争分夺秒地学习，而是为了多一点时间看看电视，玩玩游戏而已。若父母不在家的时候，我便成为了家里的“皇帝”，无人管束，想怎么玩就怎么玩。

但其中我还要与父母“斗智斗勇”。毕竟他们也有四十多年的生活经验了，因此想出了各种方法来监视我。但“上有政策，下有对策”我也想出各种各种计策来“对付”爸妈。且听我一一道来。

方法一：爸妈每次回到家，都要摸一摸电视，电脑有没有发热，来判断我有没有偷偷看电视，玩游戏。

对策一：先打电话问问爸妈回家的时间，然后在十五分钟前关闭，并用扇子不断扇风降低温度。

方法二：爸妈回到家会检查我的作业是否完成，然后看看桌子有没有做过作业的痕迹，椅子有没有温度。

对策二：爸妈快到家时，故意把桌子弄乱，然后快速填完作业的每一个空，并用吹风机吹热椅子。

方法三：爸妈四十多岁了，生活经验远远比我多，因此他们有时会用一些意想不到的方法。比如有一次，我在书房写作业，刚回到家的爸爸用遥控器打开电视，然后马上吼道：又偷看电视了是吗!”原来他们走之前偷偷把两节废电池放进遥控器，这样他们就能马上知道我有没有偷看电视。

对策三：无

从此，我只能“认输”，于是只能认真学习。

渐渐的，我的成绩有了很大的提高，这才明白了父母的良苦用心，渐渐悟出了“业精于勤荒于嬉”的道理，明白什么事情该做，什么事情不该做

我将会已饱满的精神面对我的未来!

从前，有一只乌鸦，整天都有一件让它坐卧不安：为什么人们都不喜欢我呢？我想变成一个让人喜欢的动物！

后来一位魔术师老爷爷很同情它，就把一个魔语瓶送给了乌鸦，并对它说：“只要你说出自己想变的动物，您就会变成那种动物了。”

乌鸦兴冲冲地把瓶子拿回了家，捧着瓶子在想：变什么好呢？

“就变个蝴蝶吧，蝴蝶那么美丽，肯定会让人喜欢的。不行不行，蝴蝶是很脆弱的，如果没了翅膀，就会死的。”

乌鸦想来想去都想不到变什么好。后来，乌鸦终于知道了：不是所有的动物都是十全十美的。虽然我不讨人喜欢，但是我比大象聪明，比蝴蝶的生命力强……

后来乌鸦就把瓶子还给了魔术师爷爷。

魔术师爷爷看到乌鸦就说：“乌鸦，你怎么什么都没变呀？”

乌鸦对爷爷说：“魔术师爷爷，我确实什么都没变。可是我知道了，动物们都不是十全十美的，每个人都有自己的长处和短处。所以我觉得还是现在的我好。”乌鸦把瓶子给了爷爷，就回家了。

在上幼儿园时，我就开始识字了。每次和小朋友们捧着书，一起跟着幼儿园阿姨读书时，总隐约感觉到方块字很神奇，还很亲切，像一个个小精灵，有着奇妙的本领，给我们带来了名目繁多的小故事，让我们沉浸在欢乐的海洋中。

上小学一年级时，我开始写字了。平时亲切的小精灵，这时却非常调皮，不听使唤。想写好它，但总是歪歪扭扭、横七竖八的模样，很不美观。不满意就反复擦写，田字格里经常坑坑洼洼、凹凸不平。天天写到深夜十一二点。这个时候，妈妈就是我的精神支柱，给我加油、打气和鼓励。使我精神大振，更用心写字了。在老师的期盼、妈妈的鼓励和自己的努力下，用了一学期，我终于“征服”了汉字书写难关，字也写得美观了，在书写过程中还认识了许多汉字。

上小学二年级时，我已经可以理解词语的意思了，也学会了用字典查找生词。同时学习用词造句，进一步了解了汉字的文化内涵。

小学三年级时，老师不特意教我们识字了，语文书上也没有识字表了，字典就成了我们的识字老师，帮助我们课前预习，并加固和提升了以前学习过的知识。在老师的精心指导下，我学会用汉字造句、答题、写作文、做考卷了。

我现在已经是四年级学生了，对汉字研究情有独钟，对汉字了解更深了。还经常和爸爸讨论汉字的内涵。汉字造字方法有象形字、会意字、形声字和指事字。瞧瞧：象形字中的“人”预示着我们人类是站立行走的，而不同于动物的趴着走；“羊”头上长角还挂着尾巴、“马”长着马头，靠四蹄奔跑；多有意思啊！汉字字体有甲骨文、篆体、楷体、草体、行书。。。一直到现在的简体字，活生生的一部华夏文明进化史。

凤凰仙子看出了黑猫的心思，她说:毁掉助你攀升的梯子，注定了你要从攀升中跌落。
