三十晚上，我和妈妈一起包了几盘饺子。包完饺子，我突然想到一个问题，这让我百思不得其解。于是我跑去问妈妈说：“为什么每次过春节都要吃饺子呢?”妈妈说：“因为饺子像元宝，吃了就能富贵。”我终于明白了。吃完饺子，我看了《春节联欢晚会》，一会是小品、一会儿是表演的，一会儿是歌舞，真是丰富多彩!

到了初一，我和妈妈一起去爷爷奶奶家拜年。我一见到两位老人家，就恭恭敬敬地说：“爷爷、奶奶我给你们拜年了，祝你们身体健康，长命百岁!”爷爷奶奶见我这么懂事，笑得合不拢嘴，连忙给了我压岁钱。

一转眼就到了初二。这是我最喜欢的一天，因为这样我就能得到更多的压岁钱。我早早地起了床，一直叫妈妈早点带我去外婆家。到了外婆家，外婆和灰灰一起在家门口迎接我。我连忙给外婆鞠了一躬，说：“外婆，我给您拜年了，祝您寿比南山，永远快乐!”外婆听了，一边把我抱在怀里，一边夸我长大了，懂事了。旁边的灰灰摇着尾巴，好像在说：“衡玥，你终于来了，我都等你大半天了。”晚上，外婆煮了许多菜：有肉，有鱼，有青菜、萝卜……可香了。这把我的肚子吃得鼓鼓的，犹如一个大皮球。之后外婆又给我了压岁钱，我开心极了!睡觉前我把我得到的钱数了数，整整有两千多块，我决定一半给爷爷、奶奶、外婆、买礼物，一半捐给灾区的小朋友。

今年的春节可真令我难忘啊!

Though there are still something traditional, our young generation is attempting to make something new and suitable for ourselves. And we would like to take something really worth to be cherished in our memorable treasures. That’s amazing and wonderful!

I’ll always keep in mind that the Chinese new year is a great feast inherited from our ancestors, but if necessary, I would like to enjoy it by some ways personal.

To eat dinner, is the most lively happy Spring Festival every family. Eve. Abundant wasnt filled with a table, the whole family reunion, sitting at the table, the reunion dinner with my heart happiness is difficult to define. Both enjoy a full table delicacies sumptuous dinner, and enjoy the joy of the atmosphere. The table have a meal, cold pot, hyped, snack, generally without two things, one is the hot pot. Spring Festival ,known as the Chinese New Year,which counts from the first day in the lunar calendar ,and is the most important holiday in China.From late January to early February,Chinese people are busy preparing for the New Year.They clean their houses ,have their hair cut,and buy new clothes .Jiaozi or dumpling is most popular.To those who live far away from their home,this festival is also a framily reunion occasion.

And they often go back home to celebrate the festival with their family.At the time,the children will play the fireworks and firecracker。further more，once the children greet to olds，  for return,the olds will give the children lucky money.and last The first day of the new year is the time when people visit their friends and wish each other good luck in the new year,remember to be happy！

There are many festivals in China. Among them, I like the Spring Festival

most.Not only because it’s the biggest festival in the year, but also because

it’s a new beginning that brings hope to people and it’s time for family

gathering.Before the festival, people come home no matter where they

are.Usually, we have a big dinner on the New Year’s Eve. And then families sit

together and share their lives or planes.Some will play games or hang out to

have some fun.

On the New Year’s Day, people get up early and say good words to anyone

they meet.Children can get lucky money from relatives.In the following days, we

will visit relative’s home and bring New Year’s wishes to them.In short, it’s a

time for family gathering and all of us enjoy it.

通常，我们会在除夕夜吃一顿丰盛的晚餐，之后家人团座一起，分享一年以来的生活以及新年计划。有的人则会玩游戏或者出去玩。大年初一，人们通常会早起，会与见到的人说吉祥话。孩子们会得到压岁钱。在接下来的几天里，人们会带上新年祝福互相串门拜年。总之，春节是一个欢聚一堂、供人享乐的日子。

There is also a huge difference between Chinese and Western people. Chinese people use chopsticks and western people use fork and knife. Chinese people only have three meals during a day. But western people will have more, they have afternoon tea. Usually they would have fruits, homemade cake, tea (black tea) or biscuit with cheese. If you are a housewife and have a lot of time, you may have morning tea as well.

Will Christmas Replace the Spring Festival?

Christmas arouses increasing attention year by year in China. Christmas cards become popular with students. People hold Christmas parties and exchange Christmas girts. A lot or TV and radio programs about Christmas are on. Meanwhile the Spring Festival is less appealing (有吸引力的)to youngsters. Thus some people wonder whether Christmas will replace the Spring Festival.

This worry is fairly unnecessary. Why ? One reason lies that Christmas only affects Christians，college students and joint-venture (合资企业)workers. Another reason is that Christmas is mostly celebrated in cities. Few people in countryside show extreme interest in this exotic(带有异国情调的) festival. By contrast，the Spring Festival is the most influential traditional festival in every family.

I think，it is natural that with increasing exchanges with the West，a lot of Western holidays have been gradually introduced into China. For us Chinese we should never neglect or even discard our own traditional festivals. For centuries Chinese have observed this traditional holiday to welcome the beginning of a new year. And we will treasure the Spring Festival forever.
