一.名词

写作中，学生们常把握不好名词的数、所有格以及一些集合名词的用法。

1.Hegavemeaverygoodadviceyesterday.

句中的a要去掉，因为advice是不可数名词。一些汉语概念为可数的词在英语中却是不可数的，表示数量时在要其前加apieceof，类似的词有：news,bread,work,paper,chalk,furniture,information等等。

2.Thatgirllovesreadingbook.

可数名词单数不能孤零零地放在句子里，或前面加冠词，或将其变为复数。此处最好变为books.

3.Hewentintoabooksshopandboughtadictionary.

一般表示有生命的东西的名词的所有格用’s，如mymother’scar,而此处适宜用名词修饰名词，改为abookshop.

4.MyfamilyiswatchingTV.

一些集合名词如看成一个整体，则用单数的谓语动词，如Myfamilyisahappyone.如果强调集合中每个个体的个人行为，则用复数的谓语动词。此处看电视是个体行为，应把is改为are。类似的词有：team,class,audience等。

5.Iboughtsomepotatosandtomatosatthesupermarket.

中学阶段，以“o”结尾的名词中有四个词变复数时要加es，它们是tomato,potato,Negro,hero;其余的都加s变为复数。

6.Thishasnothingtodowiththeirbelieves.（这和他们的信仰没关系。）

以f,fe结尾的词变为复数时一般去f,fe加ves，如knife—knives,

thief—thieves;而roof和belief直接加s变为复数。所以应把believes改为beliefs.

二.冠词

7.Thebosswantstohireanusefulperson.

用a还是an，取决于后面单词音标中的第一个音，如为元音用an，为辅音用a。useful的第一个音是辅音所以应把an改为a。类似的，我们说aEuropeancountry.

8.Planeisamachinethatcanfly.

plane为可数名词单数，不能单独放在句中，应在其前加冠词或把它变为复数，而本句后有amachine,因此只能在其前面加a，变为Aplane。

9.Heplayedapianoatthepartyyesterday.

把a改为the，因为乐器前用定冠词。

10.Themachinewasinventedin1920s.

在in后加the，因为表示年代用in加the再加几十的复数，如在八十年代inthe80s。

11.XiaoHongwenttoschoolbythebuseveryday.

去掉the，因为表示交通方式用by直接加交通工具。

三.代词

使用代词时请注意其单、复数，主、宾格以及形容词性物主代词和名词性物主代词的用法。

定语从句的先行词是thosespeakers，为复数，因此从句中的指示代词应为复数，应把his改为their。

13.Whomdoyouthinkhasleftthelightson?

放在疑问句特殊疑问词后的doyouthink/believe/guess/imagine/suppose等都不参与句子成分。本句中去掉doyouthink后缺的是主语，应把Whom改为Who。

14.ThebosspretendednottoseeJohnandI.

John和I在句中都做的宾语，应把I改为me。

15.Thesebooksaremine；thoseinthebagareher.

her是形容词性物主代词，后面应该加名词books，或把her改为hers。

四.数词

16.Therearefourteenhundredsstudentsinourschool.

hundred/thousand/million/score/dozen等词前有具体数字时后不加s，前面没有具体数字时在其后加s和of，表示大约几百几千的概念。如two

hundredstudents（两百个学生），hundredsofstudents（成百上千个学生）。例句中应把hundreds改为hundred。

17.Theirschoolistwiceaslargerasourschool.

表倍数关系的as...as中间只能用形容词或副词的原级。因此应把larger改为large.

18.Today’shomeworkisafive-hundred-wordscomposition.

几个单词由连字符连接而组成的复合形容词中的名词只能用单数，所以把five-hundred-words改为five-hundred-word.

19.TwothirdofthestudentsinourschoolarefromAmerica.

英语表达中分数的分子用基数词，分母用序数词，分子大于一时分母后要加s，所以就把third改为thirds.

五.形容词和副词

形容词和副词容易被误用，形容词和副词的比较级和最高级也是应注意的重点。

20.Thepatientappearednervouslywhenhetalkedtothedoctor.

appear在此是个系动词，其后应接形容词作表语。所以应把nervously改为nervous.

21.Theartistworkedhardlytofinishhisdrawingsontime.

此句需要一个副词来修饰，hardly是副词，但意为“几乎不”，hard也可以是副词，表努力，因此把hardly改为hard.

22.Thisshirtismorecheaperthanthatone.

more只构成比较级，而不能修饰比较级。因此把more去掉。

23.Heisthemostsuccessfulofthetwobusinessmen.

两者相比较时，比较级前用定冠词，三者或三者以上才用most，因此把most改为more.

表不如?...时用less加上形容词和副词的原级，因此把harder改为hard.

fairly只能修饰形容词和副词的原级，可以修饰比较级的副词或短语有：much,even,still,far,alot,alittle,abit,any,no,byfar,rather等，因此把fairly改为rather.

as?as中间的词序是as加上形容词加上a(n)加上名词再加上as，因此应改为asinterestingastoryastheone.

27.Theweatherhereisnicerthan.

同样的事物才能相比较，weather和不具有可比性，因此应改为Theweatherhereisnicerthanthatof.

29.Iwouldrathertakeatrainthanwentbybus.

这个词组为wouldratherdo?thando?，因此把went改为go.

30.Isthereinterestinganythingatthemeeting?

修饰anything,something,everything,nothing的形容词都要放在它们的后面。

像never之类的副词在句中应放在be动词、助动词之后，实意动词之前。因为应改为Ihaveneverseensuchapersonbefore.

beworthdoing意为值得被做。因此改为Thebookisworthreading.

sure的主语只能为人，而certain的主语可为人和物。因此把sure改为certain.

alive为表语形容词，偶尔也做后置定语。因此把alive改为living，或把alive放在writers后面。

yet用于否定和疑问句，already用于肯定句。把yet改为already.

nearly不与否定词用在同一个句子中，而almost可以。因此把nearly改为almost。

六.介词

by加上名词表示一种交通方式，中间什么都不加，如bycar,bybus,byplane等；如果名词前有其他的词修饰，则应用除by以外的其他介词，此处把by改为in.

wait为不及物动词，需加介词for后才能再跟名词或代词做宾语。

marry不跟with连用，应把with改为to。

Recently, a Chinese student who studied abroad delivered a speech at the

graduate ceremony. Her speech soon became the hot issue, because she criticized

Chinese air pollution, which was a great threat to her health. Though her speech

had exaggerated the problem, it is true that China has faced many pollution

problems. The haze in Beijing is famous around the world, which is the

punishment for human to ruin the environment. It needs time to fix the problem,

but there is no need to deny our country. Even for the developed countries, they

have once faced such problem before. We can do something in the daily life to

protect it, such as do not throw away the rubbish.

I imagine a lot about lives in the future. I think two words can summarize

my imagination. The first word is fast. In the future, we will have more quickly

transportation means. Now matter how far we go, it takes only a short time. With

the development of science and technology, we can travel to the moon, Mars or

somewhere outer space. People may can live in other planets. The second word is

convenient. Because of the fast development of our society, many work can be

done by computers or even robots. Lots of things are fully automated. Humans

just need to give some simple instructions to complete complecated tasks.

生活就像水池。白开水，一天一杯；果汁，三天一杯。咖啡，一个月一杯。比起享受后如隔数年的等待，我更愿意一天一杯细水长流式的雅致。

我的暑假，刺激不多，闲暇却也似无所剩。饭以一件件如沙粒般的微小构成此一幅小家碧玉式的沙画来勾勒我活出的精与彩。

我如愿做了一次义工，成功蒸出了一笼馒头，替出游的邻居顺利照看了他家的大发（黑狗），在一个退休老工匠的帮助下一套精致小巧的家具诞生我手……这这些星星点点象钻石一样镶嵌装饰着精彩，缺一不可。

或许有人会想不到，也许亦有人想不通那些＂向前迈步的足印＂之中，我最难忘的却是那一笼馒头的来由经过。许是我终究是个馋鬼把，矛盾的却是我从不屑那些售货点上看似精致诱人的面粉疙瘩，现在我明白那味道之中掺杂着努力的味道。

我记得那是一个大晴天。整个暑假我起得最早的一次。早过了妈妈，意料之中的缺了早餐这一环。我心血来潮般学着电视里老北京打早上街买油条、包子。路上，我仍想着那是怎样平淡的一天。

未到，透过聒噪，我便明三分一一今天可是一个工作日啊，恰巧与赶着上班的劳动人民碰了个正着。犹豫着是否＂移驾＂蛋糕店。确被另一个自己拦了下来，等一下又有何妨呢？排队是件无聊透了的事，便透过玻璃看起了里面大师颇具演绎色彩的＂节目＂一一揉面团。这师傅果是世外高人，满手绝活啊！只见他一拍案板，在面粉纷扬中挥起庞然大面团，＂唰唰＂两下，左拐右绕，未见其落，他一巴掌托起，后又已他泰山压顶之势双手并用地置＂团团＂于＂死地＂。按罢，淡看那零零粉末乖乖降落在面团之上，其均匀之程度，其气势之浑然程，将小女子深掩的崇拜彻底激发了出来。未有停歇，只见他宛如天降菜刀一般在我未看明白之前挥起那重量级的宰猪刀便要向＂团团＂痛下狠手。无丝毫犹豫地断其梁，割其首，砍其腰，落其尾。此刻，大叔的形象在我心目中已如古侠电视剧中的凛然大侠一般威风。但！他却突然弯起腰，表现起＂妇人之仁＂来。用裙围擦了擦刀面，小心翼翼地比划着将那几大段＂团团＂分成一个个一条条力求全等的立体几何。那一刻我若是坐着，我若是戴着眼镜，我若是拎着鸡蛋，可定会推眼镜，扔鸡蛋，拍大腿啊！这戏的转折点也太鲜明了一点啊！让悬着欣的观众一一我就这样一个不留神将心甩了下来。我看着他揉捏，看着他甩拉油条，看着他将其送入油锅？＂小姑娘，你买什么啊？＂这声音象催眠师的钟声一般使我惊醒。我尴尬地环顾一下四周，高峰期已过，熙攘人群变得三三两两，老板娘也由刚才地彪悍一下子变得温柔起来。＂我我我买三根油条三个豆沙包三个烧麦。＂此故作淡定也。

回家路上，那些现代版的武侠镜头不停的在我眼前回放，当下即决定我要下厨一次！顺便说一句，第一次下厨是在七岁，我记得老家的厨房自此便＂黑＂了。

这次我可不敢马虎了。好好地在网上查了一下具体做法。翻来找去，到处是复制的回复，大多就只有三步：酵母水揉面团、发面、下蒸笼。其产物即是千篇一律的＂白馒头＂，大失所望，却有满心希望。我可以自创的嘛！为了生态，也为了掩盖早上我煮紫薯不成却弄得一团糟的事实，还为了解决面粉不一定够用等诸多问题。我决定：将紫薯泥掺杂在面粉中。没有想象中那么容易。我是甩不起来，放不下，满手浆糊走天下啊。等到我弄出了所谓的＂三光面＂，竟花了我半个小时的光影阴。听说发面也是有讲究的，可不是丢在一边任它发酵，需要用湿布掩盖。想了想，那是为了积蓄二氧化碳为酵母呼吸提供有力环境。那在接近30度的大热天里竟又花了半个小时，这期间我思来想去，我既然帅（甩）不起来，那就做出我的独一无二吧。我掏出变身后的面团，突然小时候捏橡皮泥的乐趣像昨天的事一般涌上心来，三下五除二地捏成了几十个团，我做起了玫瑰花来。我惊奇地发现，原来我也能细心的考虑蒸后的变形程度，故此我有意将花瓣捏得更薄一点。第一笼，因为手法生疏做得有一点大大小小无整体美可言。可说到这第笼，自它诞生起，我可是舍不得下蒸笼舍不得留牙印！看着它泛热气，又看着热气消散，最后一刻喀嚓下了她一瞬的美。

做馒头——平淡无奇甚至无聊的一件事，但它却是生活里潺潺流水中的一部分，细细地品，你会发现白开水也会有它甘甜的时候。
