A young man asked Socrates the secret to success. Socrates told the young man to meet him near the river the next morning. They met. Socrates asked the young man to walk with him toward the river. When the water got up to their neck, Socrates took the young man by surprise and ducked him into the water. Today is the last day of the winter vacation, I think it should be a review of the harvest of this winter vacation.

Shortly after the winter vacation, my brothers are coming back from the field. Brother in Beijing University, now working in Beijing; cousin now working in Nanning, served as a photographer; small cousin last year to participate in college entrance examination, because the result is not very good, so not admitted to, now in Hezhou City tutorial, holiday back. When they came back, I told them to learn a lot of knowledge, play very happy! This holiday, I can seriously complete the winter vacation homework, wrote 15 diary. Every day I have to read some extra-curricular books, in the knowledge of the ocean to absorb more nutrients. Also from the bookstore, a few of my friends to learn - the book.

我们的春节是中国人一年中的第一个传统佳节，它标志旧的一年结束，新的一年已经开始。年夜饭，是春节的重要活动之一，中国的百姓家庭对年夜饭极为重视。正月初二，我和爸爸妈妈一起到奶奶家吃年夜饭。

在今天来的人特别多，奶奶家显得格外热闹，年味超浓。姑姑、叔叔和我爸爸正聊得热火重天。他们边嗑瓜子，边滔滔不绝的聊着各种话题。表哥和嫂子在房间里逗小baby开心，看着小宝贝的笑脸，他们别提有多开心了。而我和俩位表姐则更是“肆无忌惮”了。我们三人盘腿坐在沙发上，悠闲自得地玩着ipad上的割绳子，时不时传出一阵阵爽朗的笑声。

又过了一会儿，奶奶慈祥地把我们带进房间，塞给我们每人一个印着“马”的红包，我们接过红包，笑盈盈的谢谢奶奶。

很快的还有5分钟就到6点了。姑父把我们安排到圆桌上的各个座位上，我和2位表姐左右邻座。先上一道饭前甜点“蔬菜沙拉”开开胃。我们三个吃货纷纷拿勺子一勺勺地舀着沙拉，没一会儿，沙拉就差不多吃完了。姑姑笑着说：“慢点吃，每人和你们抢。”这时，第二道菜“年年有鱼”上来了。色香味俱全，酱油的味道恰到好处，加上葱花点缀，这道菜别提有多美了。鱼上完了，紧接着就是“清煮虾仁”了。这道菜清甜可口，配上一碗香醋，让人垂涎欲滴。稍后又上了不少好菜，个顶个都是美食，今天来真是有口福了。

晚上，吃完晚饭。大家陆陆续续都散了，我和爸爸妈妈也只好依依不舍的和奶奶说“再见”了，今天一天玩得别提有多开心了，和家人团聚是一件幸福的事。

I have spent a happy summer holiday now.The most enjoyable thing that happened during this summer was to swim with my brother.

My brother was a good swimmer ,who had swum for about 3 years.

We went swimming together on a hot sunny day to the nearest swimming pool.I liked the swimming very much because that day the sun was burning on us making us feel so hot.In the cool water we cooled down our bodies and exercised.

It is the most joyful thing that has ever occured to me.

近日，作家、网络营销专家杜子建在微博上抛出了自己最喜爱的诗“我有一壶酒，足以慰风尘”，求续写并承诺送酒答谢。但没想到一石激起千层浪，短短三天时间，微博被转9万多次，评论2万多条，阅读量更是达到了惊人的1800万。但不少人认为这并非是真正的诗歌创作，续写者对诗一窍不通，是传统文化的外行，并指出诗人是寂寞的，诗歌是小众的。

诚然，诗歌是一种高雅的艺术，诗歌创作需要丰富的文化底蕴和深厚的文化修养。但是，不能否定大众对诗歌的热爱，他们可以用这种方式表达对艺术的追求，对诗歌的欣赏。

在热爱文化艺术的过程中，大众的文化修养会得到提升。一些年轻人和学生，他们在节假日经常参观画展，尽管他们的专业不是绘画，但却表现了对书画艺术的热爱，在参观中自然而然的受到艺术的熏陶。许多老年人也许他们跟不上时代的潮流，但他们经常听京剧、去参加戏友会，这也是他们热爱传统文化的体现。对乡下来城里的打工族来说，他们的文化水平不高，但许多人都懂得用读书来调节自己的生活，来感受都市文化。

曾经北大的孔庆东教授组织了对文化书籍解读的讲座，参与者有学生、上班族，他们对学术文化的研究并不专业，但却有着对文化典籍的深厚热爱，展现了对高雅文化的向往。

大众不仅有资格有能力热爱诗歌热爱艺术，他们更可以追求诗化生活。官员在忙碌的政治生活外，有的会私下收藏古董，作为一种文化的寄托。上班族在焦躁忙碌的工作中总会抽出时间参观博物馆，周末去踏青或与朋友小聚。对于我们学生来说，会从繁忙的课业中解脱出来，去公园赏花，在雨中漫步，听听悦耳的轻音乐，读读青春的小说。在前一段时间，人民大学组织了一场诗歌朗诵会，参加的人员有理发师、公司职员和农民工，他们朗诵自己创作的诗歌，他们的诗歌也许不是最精美，但却体现出他们对艺术和平凡生活的热爱。在这种诗化生活的渲染中，人们渐渐平复了心情，不再浮躁，精神越来越有风采，思想变得宽阔，胸襟更豁达，心灵更具真善美。

在我看来这次的诗歌续写活动是真正的诗歌创作，它激发了人们对古典诗词的向往，唤回了人们内心对诗歌的热爱，敲醒了人们对精神生活的渴望，对目前这种拜金、浮躁、快节奏的社会未必不是一场甘霖，一种清风明月。

It goes without saying that english plays an important role in our modern

society. english is an international language. wherever you go, you can hear

english spoken by many people.

From this point of view, it is true that english is important to our daily

life. learning english is like learning to swim or learning to play ball. our

primary trouble is that we have tackled the study of language from the wrong

end. we are like theman who thinks he can learn to swim only by reading books

about swimming. in actuality, we learn by doing. the grammatical rules are

valuable as we plunge into the language and need some assistance. in the same

way, advanced instructions about swimming are helpful as we learn something from

actual experience in the water. but reading books never makes a swimmer and

learning rules never makes a practical linguist. the regular procedure in

learning english involves listening first, to be followed by speaking. then

comes reading, and finally the writing of the language. the way you learn

english is much the same as the way you learned your own language.

First of all you must listen and then repeat and repeat until you can use

the language easily. in other words, you have to build up language habits in

english just as you build up english habits in your own language. to sum up, we

must bear in mind that nobody can learn to swim for you. nobody can learn to

play ball for you. nobody can learn english for you. its up to you. you must

learn for yourself and you will learn if you really want to and are willing to

practice.

诗意地生活，源自人们内心的和谐。季羡林曾说过：“真正的和谐是人内心的和谐。”试想，一个内心浑浊不堪的人如何能够让生活充满诗意呢?一个人的生活态度往往是其内心的真实反映。故如水般澄澈的林妹妹幽居在潇湘馆，在那一丛青翠的绿竹下迎风洒泪，对月抒怀，吟出一句句清巧奇谲的诗。而浑身散发着酒肉臭的薛蟠却只懂得猜拳行令，信口开河胡诌些“一个蚊子哼哼哼”的荤段子。内心和谐，充溢着对万物的爱的人才可以诗意地生活。特蕾莎修女给每一个穷人带去关爱，爱让她的生活充满诗意；皮埃尔神父为无家可归者送去温暖，关怀让他的生活充满诗意；袁隆平院士为饥饿中的人们送去希望，爱让他的生活充满诗意。当人们内心和谐，带着对万物的爱去生活，人们才可以学会如何诗意地生活。

诗意地生活，需要人们从阅读中汲取养料。让阅读成为生活的一部分，生活才可以变得诗意。当人们从儒、道、墨、法的典籍中探究为人之道，当人们从司马迁的竹简中开启历史的明镜，当人们从唐宋八大家的作品里顿悟文章之法，智慧便开始滋润人们干涸的灵魂，给灵魂注入诗意。当人们从陶渊明的菊花中思索隐逸之士的情怀，当人们从史铁生的地坛中感念生与死的变迁，当人们从卢梭的瓦尔登湖畔拾获人生的宁静，思维便开始给心灵插上翅膀，让心灵翱翔于诗意的天空。从阅读中收获智慧，从阅读中学会思考，人们才能懂得诗意地生活。

诗意地生活，人们需要让自然抚慰自己浮躁的心灵。现代人的生活充斥着为了生计和未来的奔波，充斥着嘈杂的汽笛声与喧闹声，充斥着人与人之间的冷漠与戒备。人们需要在清风的吹拂下，在小鸟啁啾中找回生活的诗意。莽莽苍苍的森林给诗意栖居的莎士比亚带来了浓郁忧伤的情怀，潺潺流动的多瑙河给施特劳斯家族带来了优美的音韵，古老沧桑的凤凰古城给诗意栖居的沈从文带来了历史的质朴与深刻。自然的灵动与纯净，让人们更加诗意地生活。

当人们内心和谐，带着爱心去生活，当人们从阅读中获取智慧与思绪，当人们到自然中寻找抚慰，人们才可以如刘禹锡在《陋室铭》中所写，诗意地生活。

时光如白驹过隙，在不经意间才恍然发现，二个多月的暑假早已过去。八十多天的假期差不多让我们忘记了自己的身份与职责。日历上的九月一日让我们有些惊慌失措，不得不收回野去的心，重新整装，踏进了这既熟悉而又陌生的校园。如花的校园，早已物是人非，不禁心生感慨“好好学习吧”!

经过汗水与勤奋交织的初三，我们怀着激动与好奇来到了高中。原以为高一就像初一，可以好好地放松一下，把初三那些奉献给学习的时间补回来。可在体验了高中的生活后才发现——愿望是美好的，但现实是残酷的。

进入高一后，仿佛置身于暴风雨中，紧张的节奏让我有些喘不过气。学习科目的增加，知识的进一步深化，犹如一座座大山，压得我步履维艰。看数学书如看天书，听英语大脑就混乱，政治上的计算题让人难以接受，见到物理就害怕……特别是几次考试过后，我的自信更是让惨不忍睹的分数打击得支离破碎。一次次我都想过要放弃，可这时耳畔总会想起高尔基“让暴风雨来的更猛烈些吧!”的至理名言，我再次重拾信心，继续投入战斗中。因为我相信——风雨过后必将艳阳高照。

段考就要来了，同学们都变得沉默了。昔日走廊上嬉闹的身影消失了，教室里也缺少了往日欢乐的气氛。段考是一场没有硝烟的战斗，同学们为了在这次段考中一鸣惊人，做足了准备，随时可以加入战斗之中。

比起初中生活，高中生活就像一幅神秘的画卷，让人看不透，看不清，只能一步步脚踏实地走下去，认清方向，明确目的，不断反思自己曾经走过的路。同学们，让我们相约，三年的高中生活，扎扎实实打造一个美丽的大学梦想。

You may feel that college life is boring. We dont know how to deal with the plenty of spare time. But I think the college life will become wonderful as long as you make it meaningful.

In your spare time, you could play basketball, football and so on. Doing sports is very interesting and good for your health.

In fact, you can do anything which you are interested in.Do not be nervous.We are friends.

Studying in college is a brand new start of our life.You can continue to study hard for the better scords. Libary is a good place for students to study in. If you want to show your talents and skills you can join in all kinds of activities.

In a word,college life is wonderful!

你也许会认为大学生活很枯燥，你不知道如何处理这么充足的空余时间。但是我认为只要你过得有意义，大学生活会变得非常精彩。

在业余的时间，你可以打篮球、踢足球等等，做运动是很有趣的，并且对你的健康也有帮助。

事实上，你可以做任何你喜欢做的事情。不要紧张，我们是朋友。

在大学里的学习是我们生活的新起点，为了好成绩你可以继续努力学习。图书馆是个学生学习的好地方，如果你想展示你的天赋和才能，你可以参加各种各样的活动。

总而言之，大学生活是非常精彩的！

My campus life is rich and colorful.

The university life different secondary school life.And it is a problem that how should I adapt to college life.

I go to attend claeveryday morning excluding weekend .In the class I just listening to lectures, and my teachers and classmates discuss the problem.After  class, ofen i go to play basketball or badminton with my friends.

In the evening,i have two hours for study by oneself in scheduled time, and then go back to my dormitory and surf on the internet.At the weekend,i take part in some part-time jobs and go to the Einglish Corner sometimes.

All in all,life in the University is beatiful and substantial for me.And I believe I will achieve my self-value through  the university life .

Last May 4th was my birthday.I had a party at my home.

My relatives and friends came to my home in the evening.And I got a lot of presents from them.My mother prepared a big birthday cake for me.

There are even candles on it.After singing the song “Happy birthday”，I shared the cake with my friend and relatives.Then we watched TV and listened to music.Same of the girls danced with the music.We had a good time that day.

Now I want to say “Thank you my friends.Thank you my parents！I ’m so happy！”
