孩子们没有事干，闲来无事，就冲出门外，跑到院子里，手里还拿着一些瓜苗，找到一块土地，忙碌的种了起来，爸爸妈妈看见了了，微笑着走了过来：“孩子干什么呢?”孩子扭过头来，一边用手擦着额头上的汗，一边说：“爸爸，妈妈，我也想像你们一样干活，虽然我还小，但是我相信我干的活一定不比你们差，我相信不久以后我种的瓜苗就会长出来，结出果实。我也会像秧苗一样，慢慢长大，成为一个成熟的男子汉。”爸爸妈妈听后，欣慰的笑了，摸摸孩子的头：“好，好，你有这样的志愿，爸爸妈妈就欣慰了!”就在这样一个院子里，孩童稚嫩的话语，和爽朗的笑声，似乎和天地融为一体。

天边渐渐暗了，太阳也收敛了它最后的光芒，晚霞也在太阳光芒收敛后消失了。在不远的山头上，有一座村子，整座村子都异常的安静，细细听，还能听到睡熟人的鼾鼻声，十分甜美。星光洒落在村子里，微风吹过，树叶哗啦啦的响了起来，星光趁机将自己的光芒照射在那上面，这时整个树散发着轻微的光芒。萤火虫在草丛间飞来飞去，似乎在于天上的星星比谁更亮。伴随着夜幕的到来，村子在寂静中入梦。
