First, people should be educated to recognize the importance of the problems, to use modern methods of birth control, to conserve our natural resources and recycle our products. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the policy of population into practice, because more people mean more pollution. Finally,laws concerning environmental protection should be put into effect and enforce strictly just as our government has been doing. 以前，我们的家乡都是土路，没有高楼大厦，更没有现在的手机、彩电、公共汽车等方便大家的工具。到田里干活，大家都是靠自己的双手和一些简单的工具，每天累得要死，但劳动速度却非常的慢。

而现在，土路变成了水泥路，更是修建了一段高速公路，方便了大家的出行；土房变成了楼房，让我们住得舒适；每个人都有了手机，需要告诉人家什么，手指轻轻一动就可以了……

原来的路本来就不宽，小商小贩还在两边摆摊设点，占便道，侵马路这样一来，行人、车辆被挤到马路中间，碰撞、堵塞，时有发生，一不小心就会摔倒，碰上雨天，行人可倒霉了，有时一脚踩进水洼里拔不出来。

现在可跟以前不一样了。路面扩宽了，非常平坦，用围栏隔出了机动车道、非机动车道和便道，商贩都集中到了农贸市场，侵占马路的现象少了。车、人各行其道，互不妨碍。现在，我喜欢在路边漫步，因为每天清晨都有人打扫街道，路面十分干净，垃圾也不见了，取而代之的是一个个美丽的大花坛，花香沁人心脾。马路上的夜景才叫迷人呢。一排排整齐的灯柱挺立在道路两边，灯光明亮，霓虹闪烁。

以前房子低矮破旧，饱经风霜，而且有损于市容市貌。人们都不敢靠近，不定什么时候倒塌下来。可现在一座座崭新、气派的高楼大厦矗立在街道两旁，使城市充满了现代化的气息。

过去人们出门不是靠三轮车就得迈开双腿走路。现如今，公交网四通八达，出租车抬手即停，私家轿车穿梭来往，人们出门办事越来越方便了。
