Yet,with modern fishing methods, more and more fish are caught.We know that if too many trees are cut down, forests will disappear. Yet, we continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees. We see that if rivers are polluted with waste products, we will die. Yet, waste products arestill put into rivers. We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate, in a few years, there wont be enough food.What can we do to solve these problems? If we eat more vegetables and less meat, there will be more food available. Land for crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are kept. Our natural resources will last longer if we learn to recycie them. The world population will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods of birth control. Finally, if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have a better and cleaner planet in the future.

我叫，原来有一个幸福的家庭，家中有爸爸妈妈的疼爱。每当晨光熹微，我在伙伴的呼唤声中苏醒，伙伴们在林间嬉戏着。妈妈早已为我准备好丰盛的早餐，快乐的一天就从这里开始……暮色降临，爸爸在一旁给我讲闲暇的故事，林子里的一切都那样安谧。那时我们在这林子里生活得多么幸福呀!

这样提心吊胆过了几天，灾难终于降临到我的家中。爸爸为了保护我，让我骑在他的背上，带我飞走。而妈妈却留下来引开猎人，临行前，爸爸叫妈妈小心一点，在一片告别声中猎人的qiang声已经响起，爸爸只好带着我一步三回头地飞走了。在一阵qiang响之后，我的妈妈了。我大喊一声：“妈妈……”猎人发现了我和爸爸便向我们举起了qiang。爸爸躲开了猎人的子弹，带我向一片森林飞去，猎人依然穷追不舍。爸爸将我安置在茂密的丛林中，自己去跟猎人搏斗。我的直觉告诉我，爸爸这一去就回不来了。果然，一阵qiang响和惨叫之后，我的爸爸死了。

忽然，大哥哥兴奋地喊了起来：“抓住了，抓住了!”可是到跟前一看，地上有一只蜻蜓一动也不动，好像死了一样。他觉得很失望，上去就想一脚踩死它。我急忙冲了上去，大声地说：“你不要，给我吧!”大哥哥也不稀罕，没说什么，自顾自地走开了。

我小心翼翼地捧起了这只蜻蜓，放在手心里，心疼地看着它。它该有多疼啊?它妈妈该多着急啊?

保护环境第一步：自己学会保护环境。要求：自己要自觉地保护环境，不能连自己都在破坏环境，这样你就连管别人的要求都达不到了。保护环境第二步：劝告别人保护环境。要求：如果见别人乱扔垃圾或吐痰等，应该立即上去劝阻。当然自己也要管得知自己哟!保护环境第三步：让一个集体保护环境。要求：让几十个人并成一个集体，并保护环境。如果你这三点都做到了，那你就是一个“保护环境小卫士”了!
