哲学家苏格拉底曾说：“世界上最快乐的事，莫过于为理想而奋斗”。每个人都有自己的理想，并一直朝着这个目标奋斗着，这的确是一件快乐的事。我也有我自己的理想--做一名英语翻译家。

你们一定想知道我为什么要做英语翻译家？因为我从小就喜欢英语。在我上幼儿园，第一次接触英语的时候，老师教我们读“apple苹果”，“banana香蕉”，老师怕我们不懂，还特意拿来香蕉，指着香蕉对我们说：“这是不是很像‘b’呢？上面瘦瘦的，下面胖胖的。一个个香蕉就成了banana，这样，香蕉的英语是不是很容易拼出来。”老师还教我们学了很多英语单词。从那以后，我就喜欢上了英语。

虽然这个理想对我来说是一件非常遥远的事情，但我愿意为这个理想而努力拼搏。每当我听到别人那一口流利的英语，我都非常羡慕，同时我的心灵也一样受到了鼓舞。我相信只要努力就一定可以做到。现在我会从身边的每一步开始做起，努力学好英语。我希望通过我的努力，可以实现我的梦想。

通向理想的道路是遥远的，艰辛的，但我坚信自己只要为理想奋斗，为理想拼搏，就一定能实现理想。

我们生活在一个信息世界里。在教室里学习，听广播，看电视，读书看报，上网浏览，与亲戚，朋友通信，都是在获取信息。现代社会信息量越来越多，传递信息的速度也越来越快，人们获取信息的途径也越来越广。我家的信息工具有：收音机，电话，电视，电脑。现在爸爸妈妈都各自有一不手机，与朋友，家人联络也方便了很多。现代科技给我们的生活带来了不少变化。

我们家原来只能通过写信和远方的朋友联系，实在不方便。现在我们家安装上了电脑有了宽带网，一切都边的方便起来。有一次老师留了一项作业，让我们找一些关于名人的事迹。如果是原来，还要翻报纸，查书，一查就是一两个小时。而现在只要打开电脑，上了网，输入你想要得查的资料，过几秒钟资料便会出现在屏幕上。大大提高了我做作也的效率。

现在，我家装上了电脑，与远在日本的哥哥联系也方便了。只要坐在电脑前，轻点鼠标，上了宽带网，进入QQ视频聊天室，我和哥哥便可以面对面交谈了。记得有一次，哥哥把日本樱花盛开的录像传送给我，我看到樱花，就好像闻到它散发出的淡淡清香，就好像我也在那樱花盛开的海洋里一样。我虽然没去过日本，但在我和哥哥的交谈和传送图片中，使我了解了很多关于日本的事情，这就是网络带给我的乐趣。

未来的社会是一个信息话的社会，我们坐在家里也可以获取来自世界各地的最新信息。那真可谓是“秀才不出门，尽知天下事”

my daily life

Though my daily life is extremely monotonous, I try hard to adapt myself to

it. Why? Because I intend to be a good student. I wish to render service to my

country. I get up at six o’clock every day. after I wash my face and brush my

teeth, I begin to review my lessons. I go to school at seven o’clock. after

school is over, I return home. we usually have supper at seven o’clock.then I

begin to do my homework. I want to finish it before i go to bed.

我的日常生活

虽然我的日常生活十分单调，但我却竭力设法去适应它。为什么?因为我打算做一个好学生，希望将来为国家服务。

我每天六点起床、洗脸刷牙后，就开始复习功课，七点钟我就去上学。

放学后，我就回家了。我们通常在七点钟吃晚餐，之后我就开始做家庭作业，希望在睡觉前把它做完。

Good morning,everyone! I`m very happy to have this chance to give my

presentation. Before I start my speech, please let me ask you a question. Do you

think you are confident in yourself? If you are, do please raise your hand.

My topic today is “ to Be a Confident Person.”

What is confidence? Confidence is to trust yourself. Confidence is to look

upon yourself. It is not to indulge in self-admiration. It is not to get

extremely arrogant. It is not to get dizzy with success or to be opinionated. It

is just to inspire yourself ahead of a quality of mind, in high spirit, full of

energy. It is to meet the challenges of life in a positive mood. It is to

overcome your inferiority, farewell, to get rid of the trouble of a a ready-made

panacea.

Remember, I have just entered junior high school. In the face of the

challenge of new environment, in the face of so many new courses and learning

contents, I lost faith in my own and gradually developed a psychological sense

of inferiority. Achievement glided ceaselessly. It is a teacher and mother who

encouraged me and let me regain confidence. Gradually, my grades got higher and

什么是自信?自信，就是自己信得过自己，自己看得起自己。它，不是孤芳自赏，也不是夜郎自大，更不是得意忘形和自以为是;而是激励自己奋发进取的一种心里素质，是以高昂的斗志，充沛的干劲迎接生活挑战的一种乐观情绪;是战胜自己，告别自卑，摆脱烦恼的一种灵丹妙药。

还记得，我刚刚升入初中时，面对新的环境，面对那么多的新的课程和学习内容，我对自己失去了信心，逐渐产生了自卑心理，成绩不断下滑，是老师和妈妈及时帮助我、鼓励我，让我重新找回自信。渐渐的，我的学习成绩及各个方面都有明显进步，逐渐适应了初中的生活。

朋友们，让我们告别自卑，做一个自信的人吧。因为：只有拥有自信，才能拥有自我;只有拥有自信，才能走向成功，才能创造自己辉煌的人生。
