Gulangyu---- a fairyland in the world As May Day is coming, many people plan a visit to Gulangyu, a beautiful island in Xiamen. Gulangyu is an island of Xiamen, which is surrounded by the blue sea. It’s like a garden on the water. You can go there by ship/sea. On the island, cars, buses and bikes are not permitted there. It is so quiet that wherever you go, you can hear the sound of playing the piano. As a result of this, it is called “ the island of music”.

(Thus/ Therefore) The Sunshine Rock is/lies on the highest place of the island. Standing on the top of it, you can enjoy/catch sight of the beautiful scenery of the whole Xiamen and other islands. 春天，油菜花开了，大片大片的花随风舞动着它们阿娜多姿的身体，美极了。蝴蝶和蜜蜂被花吸引住了，围着花儿翩翩起舞。小朋友们有的在花丛中玩捉迷藏，有的在追赶美丽的蝴蝶，他们的笑脸比太阳还要耀眼!

夏天，家乡里的活动就更多了：吃冰淇淋，甜甜的，所以孩子们都很爱吃，妈妈们会给他们做清凉的衣服。会在树阴底下舒舒服服地睡大觉。晚上，大人们会带着孩子们一起去看星星，看星座。会给孩子讲“牛郎织女”，“嫦娥奔月”······这些神话故事。还有些人会找一个凉爽的地方，聊一聊家常事。

秋天，是一个丰收的季节，苹果树，梨树·······都结果了。一片丰收的景象。
