When I was a primary school student, my family and I took a trip to five

cities which were in the south of China.

First, we came to Nanjing by plane. That was the first time I had taken the

plane and it took us an hour and a half to get there. We arrived in Nanjing in

the morning. At 11:30 we went to a restaurant to have lunch. The food tasted

delicious. In the afternoon we went to “Zhongshanling”. It was the place that

preserve the tomb of Mr. Sugshan.

beautiful silk and famous tea of “龙井”.The last place that we visited was

Shanghai. It was one of the biggest city is China. The night view in Shanghai

was more beautiful than Beijing. We visited the TV tower of “东方明珠”. It was the

third tallest tower in the world. Standing in the tower you could see the whole

city. In the evening, we lived in a hotel with 25 floors. I was very excited

that evening.

This trip took us seven days and we went back to Beijing by plane. The

plane was very very big. There were three engine rooms. I felt happy and I would

never forget the trip.

If I were to leave my home for a year, there is one thing I definitely

would take with me: my cell phone. With my cell phone, I could call my friends

or family if I ever was lonely, needed advice, or just wanted to talk.

Travel is beneficial to us in at least three ways. First, by traveling we can enjoy the beautiful scenery in different places. We will see with our own eyes many places read of in books, and visit some famous cities and scenic spots.

The Spring Festival

The Spring Festival，Chinese New Year，is the most important festival for all of us。 All family members get together on New YearEve to have a big meal。At the same time，everyone celebrates to each other。At about 12 oclock，some parents and children light crackers。The whole sky is lighted brightly。 We may watch the fireworks excitedly。How busy it is！

On the first early moring of one year，many senior citizen get up early and they stick the reversed Fu or hang some couplets on the front door。 Some houses windows are sticked on red paper cutlings。

Will Christmas Replace the Spring Festival？

My plan of next year

A new year ，a new start，when I stand on the edge of a new year，I cant help thinking about my plan of next year。

Just as the old saying：“Well began is the half of the success。”So I decide that I should be at work while the others are still relaxing ，and then ，at the beginning ，Im quicker than the others and of course I will get better result than the others。

But ，what I really decide to do is that I must make good of anytime I can spare though it seems impossible。 While，I will do my best to live up with what I have planned，and the result will prove it。

Nowadays this kind of traveling model is gaining more and more popularity among college students. We got to Hong Kong early in the morning. It had taken us about 2 hours to come here by plane. It is really an exciting city and very different from Taiyuan. My uncle showed my mother and me around Hong Kong. We visited Hong Kong Park.

Though it’s a very poor country, the kids seem to be happy. They live with their farmer parents in little houses built with dirt and straw and help out a lot in the rice field during the day. They don’t have TVs or Internet, but they enjoy a lot playing outside. It was a very memorable trip that I will never forget.

This month, I will travel to Changsha and Zhangjiajie with my two friends, which is supposed to be a seven-day trip. We will set out on 10th, June. Now, we have prepared many things, snacks and medicines included. Firstly, we will go to Changsha by plane. The tickets are cheap, so it’s a good choice to save time. We will stay there for two days. The main goal staying there is to enjoy the delicious food in Changsha. My friend has prepared a map of must-tries and I believe they must be good. Then we will go to Zhangjiajie by train. It’s not so far from Changsha, taking about five hours to get there. Zhangjiajie is famous for its wonderful mountains. The sceneries there are amazing that no one should miss. But we will have a tough journey for climbing high mountains, which is not easy for us all. This is why we will stay there for longer. In the end, we will go home by train. However, after the journey last week, I dont want to travel by train anymore, because it is too tired to have fun. It took me sixteen hours on the train. I was very tired and I had to spend a day to have a good rest. And it was boring on the train. Therefore, I think it should not travel by train if its far.
