Sandy Alexander lives in Newport Beach, California. He has a disability that requires his two-year-old dog, Doc, to be always at his side. Mr. Alexander took the dog to the flight school toget him ready for plane trips. He says Doc did not like the bumpy part of the flight simulation.

花花的毛色光亮，用手摸摸，滑腻腻的，十分舒服；它的两只耳朵耷拉着，显得那么温驯、老实。它的眼珠像两颗黑宝石，亮晶晶的，不住地在眼眶里转来转去，可爱极了！

花花从不挑食，给什么吃什么。你给它几块儿肉骨头，它会汪汪地叫上几声，向你表示感谢，然后再有滋有味地啃起来。你给它一碗面条，它也会眨巴几下那双闪亮的眼睛，仿佛在说“可以、可以！”，然后埋下头来，大口大口地吃起来。

它吃东西时可有趣了，它不时地把舌头伸出来舔舔，还时不时抬起头来向周围的人瞅瞅，摇摇尾巴，一副心满意足、感恩不尽的样子，惹得你不时地还想再给它点儿。

狗有狗规，人有人道，试问，狗，何罪之有？让我们如此诋毁，曾听说狗是人类最忠实的朋友，就这一点，就有理由相信狗与人类的朋友关系。一些忠诚的狗会在认定一个主人后一生追随。这是难能可贵的，毕竟只有少数动物能在认主后，不离不弃。即使狗在外走丢也能自己找到回家的路。在家里也能起到看门护院的作用在一些年长的狗的眼睛上，能看到两道深深的泪痕。一个有感情的动物，值得我们用心呵护。那道泪痕触动的不仅是我们的感情，更是一颗爱狗之心！

记得一个关于狗的电影，一条狗为报答它的主人，在死后，再次成为一个狗，长大后回到曾经的家，可年轻的主人已到中年，在故事的最后，狗再次回来陪伴已到老年的主人，直到主人生命最后一刻。相信我们曾经善待的每一条狗都会在未来等着我们。

每当听见“黑皮”两个字时，我就特别高兴。“黑皮”是我家的小狗，我跟它在一起玩两年了，它是我的忠实朋友。

我喜爱它，是因为它那傻呆呆的外表。全身黑黑的，耳朵“掉”了下来。一双大眼睛，那长长的鼻子下长着一张贪吃的嘴。要是它看见了能诱惑它的东西，就呆呆地看上老半天，真是一个“傻呆子”。我就给它取了一个名字，叫“黑皮”。

“黑皮”很听我的话，我叫它干什么，它就干什么，除了叫它不要吃别人的东西以外，它很贪吃吧！每次我一放学回来，它就跟在我后面，好像在说：“主人，我饿了。”我就拿出狗粮，让它饱餐一顿。

它不仅很可爱，也非常凶恶。一旦它发起脾气来，没有人敢招惹他它。有一次。我家附近来了一个鬼鬼祟祟的人，可能想进别人家偷东西。我们家的“黑皮”一发现那人就喊了起来（“黑皮”真是多管闲事啊！）那小偷转身就跑，人们都起床参加“追捕行动”，黑皮也跟着追。尽管小偷怎样躲藏，最终还是被它逮着了。

还有一次，我写完作业闲着没事干，就故意去逗它玩。我不给它吃的，它和我争来争去。经过它的“不懈努力”，终于把我手中的粮食夺了过去。我觉得不好玩了，就索性把剩下的都给它吃掉。它非常高兴，又是不停地叫。我真是服了它！
