i was depressed because i couldnt understand an english book after i bought it.I could understand nothing.I thought maybe i should study english hard and only by this could i learn a lot of knowledge and understand english aw well as communicate with others in english.I told myself, ‘just go’.

This is the first diary I’m writing in the youth summer camp.

Everything is new to me, new class, new teachers and new classmates. My

classmates are all good students and they can speak English well. I think I can

learn a lot from them, and I can make friends with them.

The teacher from china is full of emotion when giving a class. And her

class is very interesting. To my surprise our foreign teacher can speak chinese

very well, but in my opinion, her class is a little boring. She should have made

the class more active.

Compared to my school, Zhejiang University seems so big that it takes us a

few minutes to commute between the classroom and cafeteria.

I wish myself good luck and have a good holiday here!

一切对我来说都是新鲜的，新的班级，新的老师和新的同学。我的同学都是好学生，他们英语讲得很好。我想我可以从他们身上学到很多，我可以和他们交朋友。

这位来自中国的老师讲课时感慨万千。她的课很有趣。令我惊讶的是，我们的外教汉语讲得很好，但在我看来，她的课有点无聊。她本该让全班更活跃。

与我的学校相比，浙江大学似乎太大了，我们从教室到食堂之间要花上几分钟的时间。

It was the third day of our winter holiday. Today, there are many business in my mother’s netpany. So my mother told me to help my uncle who is the manager of my mother’s netpany. I sat in my mother’s office and help her answer the telephone.

While I was free, I was writing my homework. Although I also have a lot of time to do my homework, I still do it. Because in my mother’s office, I had nothing to do. If I did nothing, I was wasting my time and my life. I can’t do the foolish thing. We should take good use of our time.

Qingming Festival, also known as Pure Brightness Festival or Tomb-sweeping Day, is one of the 24 segments of the Chinese calendar. It normally falls on the 4th or 5th of April, between spring plowing and summer weeding, and is a time to pay respects to ones ancestors and to tidy their gravesite. On this day, whole families, young and old, go to the gravesite of deceased family members to burn incense and perform a ritual offering while clearing away plant overgrowth from the gravesite.

Qingming Festival is when Chinese people visit the graves or burial grounds of their ancestors. Traditionally, people brought a whole rooster with them to the graves visited but the occasion has become less formal over time. The festival originated from Hanshi Day (寒食节, literally, Day with cold food only), a memorial day for Jie Zitui (介子推). Jie Zitui died in 636 BC in the Spring and Autumn Period. He was one of many followers of Duke Wen of Jin before he became a duke.

Once, during Wens 19 years of exile, they had no food and Jie prepared some meat soup for Wen. Wen enjoyed it a lot and wondered where Jie had obtained the soup. It turned out Jie had cut a piece of meat from his own thigh to make the soup. Wen was so moved he promised to reward him one day. However, Jie was not the type of person who sought rewards. Instead, he just wanted to help Wen to return to Jin to become king.

Once Wen became duke, Jie resigned and stayed away from him. Duke Wen rewarded the people who helped him in the decades, but for some reason he forgot to reward Jie, who by then had moved into the forest with his mother. Duke Wen went to the forest, but could not find Jie. Heeding suggestions from his officials, Duke Wen ordered men to set the forest on fire to force out Jie. However, Jie died in the fire. Feeling remorseful, Duke Wen ordered three days without fire to honour Jies memory. The county where Jie died is still called Jiexiu (介休, literally "the place Jie rests forever").

When I was six years old, I began to go to school. The first school (which) I attended was a primary school. There were many subjects (which were taught in the school, such as Chinese, arithmetic, history, geography, drawing and so forth. Since I was (became) a student, I studied very hard. My parents were quite proud of me.

After I had studied there for three years, I entered a junior high school. When I was twelve years old, I became a student of a senior high school. I still studied very hard. Except on sick leave I was never absent from class. Everybody looked upon me as a model student.

我六岁的时候，就开始上学了。我第一个上的学校是一所国小。学校里教的课目有许多，诸如国文，算术，史地，画图等等。既然我是一个学生，我就用功读书。我父母深以我为荣。

我在那边读了三年后，就进入初中。我十二岁的时候，就成为一个高中的物理学。我依旧用功读书。除病假外，我永不缺课。人人都把我看作是一个模范生。

January 21

It was cooler than yesterday. One of my father’s friends invited me to eat red bayberries. You must know it is unusual. Because we will climb the hill to eat red bayberries. There is no chance to eat red bayberries in the hill for the people who don’t live in Beijing. On the hill, you can breathe the fresh air, you can listen birds singing and you can eat red bayberries. It was enjoyable. It is said there are wild pigs in the hill. What a beautiful natural.

January 22

Today I found time was a cruel thing. Whatever man is, time always goes on. It won’t stay to wait for somebody. You can’t use anything to exchange time. Time is also a fair thing. Although you have a lot of money or you enjoy high reputation, time won’t leave them more. Today I found I hadn’t enough time. Although I have 50-day holiday, but I found I had a lot of things to do. I had a lot of homework to do and I had something necessary to do.

January 23

I have rested for 10 days. In these days, I felt very bored. I didn’t know to do what. Although I had a lot of things to do, I felt uncomfortable. I was ill because of the cold weather. I was tired, sleepy and had no strength. My parents are worried about my health. in fact, it didn’t matter. I was always in the room with air-conditioner and opened it in a low temperature. So when I went out, the high temperature disagreed to me. Finally, I was ill.

It is so fantastic that I have so many desires in the Spring Festival of Y2007. It is expectable that I should finish some thing I can do for a significative spring festival.

First of all, I must to finish the winter holiday homework. It is necessary I have to do for improve and consolidate what I have leart last year.

Next,I want to attend a english training for oral english ability. It is ready for studying abroad after graduate from high school or college. Fundamentally, I have chosen a good traning shool. I dont have to wait untill I accumulate the training fee throught the money gifts. joozone.com

Then, I will pick up a foreign pen pal who is from the US, and she is going to china to be my guest this year. This is a good chance for my to practise english communication ability. I wish I could get a rapid progress in this way.

Finally,I need to prepare for the Olympic math contest next year. I cant let someone down who always care me.

However I have me plans to get the lunur new year through. I hope all of you guys have your own plans for the new year. may you succeed.

Last sunday, it was a fine day. My friend and I went to Mount Daifu. In the

morning,we rode bikes to the foot of the mountain.After a short rest,we climbed

the mountain.on its peak,,we shared the beautiful scenery in our eyes. There

were lots of light foggy clouds around us.What。

s more, varieties of birds flying around us were pretty.What a harmony

situation。

At noon,we had lunch in a restaurant. With a happy emotion, we finished our

climbing. Although tired, we still felt happy and relaxed.we hope our country

will become more and more beautiful.

August 7,20__Friday

Today, I did housework for grandmother. She is not

very healthy and I decide to do housework for her more frequently. And she will

feel happy and become better. Suddenly, an idea hit me that it’s terrible to

grow old becuase you have to worry about both your health and others’ opinions.

Once again, I make a decision to be a good girl.

春节是中国人民最为主要并重要的节日之一。许多周游四海的儿女和出城挣钱养家的劳动人民都要回到家乡和家人团聚！在乡村里，各家各户都要杀猪宰羊，再请上街坊邻居和亲朋好友吃上一顿，然后再放放鞭炮什么的。年味异常的浓。当然，今年也一样喜庆，还有……快到除夕了，我那小小的激动实在是按捺不住，真想早点到。一眨眼，除夕之日到了，那是一个大清早，一阵“噼里啪啦”的爆炸声打破了我的美梦。“谁呀，大清早的放什么鞭炮啊？”我条件反射地说了一句。我便慢慢爬起床，吃过早饭，便来到楼下“晃悠”了。

只见新奇鲜杂货店前人山人海。爱凑热闹的我便左挤右挤，硬是钻了进去。嘿！竟然是一大堆的烟花爆竹，我想：好久没有放烟花了，买完，便拽着‘战利品’奔回家，只好无奈地等着夜晚的降至。星星，月亮爬上夜空，我便拿着‘战利品’冲下楼，当十二时钟声敲响时，我拿着一串挂好在竹竿上的“500响”站在空地上。心里美滋滋的想“毕竟，小区里不可能有放这500响的”。可刚刚要放，只听见一阵阵爆竹声，把我吓了一跳。一分钟后才回过神来。于是呼点燃了自己的烟花，可是才响了半分钟就没有了。

对于刚才的3000响，简直是“小巫见大巫”啊！正叹惋时，又有好多好大的烟花争相跃到黑夜上空，把一切都照亮了，我也不甘示弱，点起“七彩筒”来。欢笑声，祝福声，烟花声此起彼伏。打破了城市夜间的宁静！

城市的发展，日益繁荣，真可谓“爆竹声中一岁除，春风送暖入屠苏。

My favorite season is summer. It’s hot in summer. There is a summer

vacation in summer. I don’t go to school. I think many children like this

season, because they can eat ice-cream and go swimming. I can go swimming.

Sometimes I go to the beach with my parents. Sometimes I go to the swimming pool

with my friends. I usually visit many places in summer vacation.

I have a lovely bedroom. It is small but clean and beautiful. The wall is

light green and the floor is white. There is a bed in my bedroom, it is really

comfortable. I sleep with it every night. And there is a small sofa near my bed,

puddle of blood around him.Then many passers-by gather around the man,some

dailed 120,some comforted the injuried.About,five minutes,an ambulance and a

police came,finally,the injured was sended to the hospital,the the driver was

brought to police station.

我们拿起酒杯互相祝福，我祝外公、外婆，爷爷，奶奶长命百岁，祝爸爸、妈妈工作顺利。……吃完饭，外婆、外公、爸爸、妈妈……许多亲人把大大小小的红包直住我手里塞，我连声谢谢都来不及说。

接下来的节目，自然是放各式各样的烟花了，这是我们最期待的。有天女散花、小驮跎、小飞机……我最喜欢“天女散花”。只见爸爸拿起打火机“咔嚓”点燃导火线，一个个圆圆的物体直冲上天，紧接着像鲜花一样绽开，又像雨点般落下来。

一束束烟花飞向深蓝色的天空，好灿烂啊!

照湖南的规矩，过年差不多从腊月二十三日开始。

这天，是家乡过小年的日子，说是小年，不如说是过过年的彩排。晚上，天一擦黑，就听见一阵阵鞭炮声响起，每一年的这天吃睡觉之前都要放鞭炮，再烧些纸钱送灶王爷上天，干完这些才能睡觉。每当这一天晚上，村子里就会传出一阵阵参差不齐的鞭炮声，那声音直冲云天。这天还要把屋子整理好，准备迎接新年的到来。

腊月三十也就是家乡人口中的大年了，这天中午十二点，家家户户贴对联。晚上全家人坐在桌子上吃一顿团圆饭，吃晚饭，家里的男人们就去别人家拜早年，女人们在家里等待别人拜年。年三十晚，大家都坐在电视机前，看过年联欢晚会。到了十二点，大家都出来放花炮。放完才睡觉。正月初一早晨，人们穿上新衣，这时是小孩子们最开心的时刻因为这时要向爷爷奶奶爸爸妈妈要压岁钱了，收完了压岁钱，就一起出去拜年，到那家串串，到那家走走，拜完之后就在家里等待别人来拜年。白天，家家户户都在看舞龙灯。传说，把龙围成一个圈，让小孩站在里面，摸一摸龙的胡须，孩子的成绩就会很好。我一听说，就钻了进去，和别的孩子手拉手。

过完过年后的几天更不能闲着了，还要到别的亲戚家这样子来回走动，晚上还要请在村子里的长辈吃饭。过年之后的几天晚上村里开着路灯，小孩子们都出去放各种礼花。

这种日子一直持续到正月十五，这天必须要吃汤圆，晚上全村一起放礼花，各种各样的礼花在天空中呈现出来，给蔚蓝的天空添上了几笔彩色。过年直到正月十五结束，过年过去之后，天气逐渐变暖，孩子们开始上学，大家又开始为新的一年忙碌起来。

HOW I SPENT MY SUMMER VACATION 我如何度过暑假

No sooner had the summer vacation begun than I returned to my native town. Of course I must make good use of it; otherwise I would incur the displeasure of my parents.

In the morning I reviewed my lessons and read newspapers or magazines. In the afternoon I played ball games with my friends or went fishing in the river. At night (In the night) I watched television with my family (the members of my family). hardly had the clock on the wall struck ten when I went to bed.

翻开精美的日历，我细数着春节将要来临。那是我们中华民族的传统节日，更是我期盼的佳节，因为只有这几天，我才能放下沉重的学习，放松自己的心情，淘洗着一年中最欢乐的日子。

我期盼春节，在我看来。广州的春节是最美的。大街小巷张灯结彩，人们笑语欢腾。尤其是除夕之夜，五颜六色的礼花，绽放在夜空中，千姿百态，有的像银蛇狂舞，有的像空缺开屏，还有的像绽放的花朵。它们把广州装点的绚丽夺目，整个广州真是火树银花不夜天。而今年的春节我尤为盼望，因为我将过一个与众不同的春节，因为我要到我们祖国南端的圣土---香港，在迪斯尼乐园里过一个奇妙的春节。我想：那里的春节一定是充满了童趣，那里有神话故事里的城堡，还有漂亮可爱的米老鼠，和它们一起过春节，一定很快乐。听妈妈说迪斯尼里的烟花漂亮极了，我想它们冲上天空一定很亮丽，那是一幅幅米奇的笑脸和维尼熊的舞蹈图画。它们似乎都在欢迎我的到来。

我期盼着春节，春节充满了亲情。每到春节，妈妈做了一盘又一盘的美味佳肴。也许妈妈已经忘记了连日加班的疲惫，忘记了她两鬓又多了一丝丝白发，妈妈您辛苦了，我真想用双手抚平您眼角的皱纹。今年的春节妈妈满足了我的心愿，带我到香港旅游，为了让平时紧张的我彻底放松一下心情，我非常感谢妈妈，感谢她一年来辛勤地工作，感谢她灯前伴我学习的身影，才让我有了今天的幸福生活，妈妈我已经长大了，今年的我将不会再让您为我操心为我劳累。

我期盼这春节，春节是新的开始，是播种希望的季节。新的一年，我长大一岁，我有了新的希望，我将要播下美丽的种子，收获幸福与爱的果实。

On  5th my parents took me to . We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall. collected by

We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang . I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern . The  Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.

Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing
