春节是个亲人团聚的节日，离家的亲人都不远千里回到父母身边。新年的前一夜叫除夕，是个团圆夜，家人要围坐在一起包饺子。饺子的作法是先和面，“和”字就是“合”;“饺”就是“交”。因为 “合” 与 “交” 都有相聚之意，所以团圆夜要包饺子。

除夕那天晚上，我们一大家子热热闹闹吃完了年夜饭，都围坐在电视机前，一边品尝瓜果，一边欣赏春节联欢晚会，盼望着新年的钟声快快敲响。当新年的钟声敲响的那一刻，我们欢呼雀跃，因为我们又长一岁了!这时窗外的鞭炮声此起彼伏，我和弟弟妹妹赶紧去跟爷爷奶奶、爸爸妈妈、叔叔婶婶拜年，祝他们新年快乐、万事如意、心想事成，他们高兴地给了我们压岁钱，祝我们健康成长、学习进步，我们快乐地蹦起来：“终于得到压岁钱啦!”家里的拜年声与窗外的鞭炮声汇成了一曲欢乐的歌。

得到压岁钱以后，我们跑下楼去看大家放鞭炮。爸爸把一串鞭炮拖到院子里，我们赶紧退后，捂起耳朵，爸爸在我们“快，快!”的叫声中点燃了鞭炮，一会儿，鞭炮就“噼里啪啦”地响起来，这是新一年的祝贺!啊!新年到了!

春节是一个丰富多彩的节日，代表着新的一年的到来，每到这时人们都要忙忙活活的包饺子，小孩们则穿着新衣放着鞭炮，在楼下自娱自乐。哦，对了，关于春节，还有一个名称叫“过大年”。

传说很久很久以前，每到春节，人们都要在屋子里躲起来，为什么呢？因为，那时候有一只叫“年”的怪物会出来杀人、搞破坏。后来，人们发现“年”的弱点：“年”特别怕红色和巨大的响声。于是人们想到了对付“年”的方法。“年”又来了时，家家户户的窗户、门口等都挂起了鞭炮与灯笼，贴上了春联。噼噼啪啪声让“年”收到了惊吓，春联和灯笼让年感到害怕。于是，“年”便逃走了。

后来，这个过春节的习惯就被人们的祖祖辈辈延续了下来。自然，我们家也一样，除夕夜可忙坏了我和妈妈，贴春联、贴门神。对了！今年是羊年，妈妈还特地买了几个羊年的贴画和窗花。然后爷爷陪我下楼放了几个烟花，上楼之后我开始学奶奶包饺子：揉面、擀皮、包馅子。由于我是第一次包饺子，所以我的饺子都是圆的，于是我给它起了个名字：“自制元宵”。

晚上，我陪奶奶看《春节联欢晚会》————这也是我们过春节的一顿“年夜大餐”

大年初一的早上，我被噼噼啪啪的鞭炮声“喊”醒，然后带着无比兴奋的心情，“扑腾”一声跳了起来，然后飞快的穿好衣服，冲出屋子，对全家人大喊一声：“祝大家新年快乐！”爸爸、妈妈、爷爷、奶奶都笑了，纷纷往我手里递红包。我们吃了在饭后就去给楼上楼下的长辈们拜年去了。

我逢人就说：“过年好！”大家互相送出祝福。
