除夕一大早，我们就回家乡帮奶奶制作过年必备食品——油角和煎堆。虽然它们看起来很平凡，但是制作起来可不简单呀，必须经过许多工序，才能把它们做的好吃又好看。做煎堆要准备：爆谷、糯米粉、粘米粉、花生、砂糖、芝麻等多种材料。煎堆的陷做起来比较复杂，要将花生、砂糖和爆谷加热搅拌在一起，然后趁热用双手把它们捏紧，把它们捏成一个个圆球状。这是一个考验人的功夫，只有奶奶才能做好。我们就只能做简单的油角陷，只要将花生和砂糖碾碎混在一起就行了。制作完内陷，就要做外皮了。将粘米粉和糯米粉按一定的比例混在一起，用开水搅拌，搓成粉团备用。

最令人开心的制作马上就要开始了。每个人都要动手，奶奶就小木棍把粉团搓成薄薄的表皮，然后我们用它把内陷包起来，搓成一个个的圆球。包油角更可笑，每个人的手法都不同，形状各异的油角很快就把桌面摆得满满的。由于我的手上沾满了面粉，不一会儿，就把小脸蛋弄成一个大花脸，引得他们哈哈大笑起来。

最后的工序就是下油锅了。首先用猛火烧开油锅，然后改用慢火，将包好的煎堆和油角放进油锅慢慢翻滚，让它们受热均匀。不一会儿金灿灿的油角和煎堆就出锅了。

制作油角和煎堆既费时又烦琐，但却是我们的春节习俗之一，人人都乐意去做。
