When I was young at high school,I couldnt stop dreaming about my college life again and again.Suffering too much pressure form college entrance test,I always admired college students for their relaxed life in college.

During the Days of Military Training

The day we were looking forward to came at last----a weeks military training began.

During the training, each of us did his part in earnest. We drilled more than six hours a day, though it was very hot at the time.

In the blazing sun, we always tried to measure up to the high standards which were demanded . Sweat streamed down and we wouldnt wipe it off. Olny three days later our faces were tanned.We felt happy and proud of it .

Our platoon officer was a young PLA man, about twenty years old. He was very strict with us during the training and very kind to us afterwards. By talking with him, we came to know not only more information about army life, but also about military affairs.

The military training gave us good discipline. It brought us great happiness, too. Well never forget it.

Summer can be very hot in southern taibei where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education and would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. At first I was rather dismayed at the thought of this, but later I thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer I could count on endless happy summers to come. 对我来说，大学生活是理想的，只要我有大量的书可以阅读，一些知心朋友可以陪伴我，一些认真的教授可以指导我，以及容易上网。

寒假生活像一首歌，它美妙的音乐常让你回味;寒假生活像一首诗，诗行的内容总让你陶醉;寒假生活像一串葡萄，每一粒果实都有不同的滋味。

大年除夕夜，外面灯火通明，各种烟花在天空中齐放。有的像流星飞过，有的像百花齐放，有的像一把伞，还有的像一颗颗闪烁着的星星。“噼里啪啦……”“这是谁家的鞭炮放得这么大声啊!”“当然是我家的咯!”我得意扬扬地说。放完鞭炮后，我们就开开心心地进屋吃年夜饭了。

哇!一盘盘色香俱全、香喷喷的饭菜摆在了桌上，看到我眼花缭乱，直流口水。其中酸菜鱼象征着年年有余。饺子因形似元

宝，有春节吃饺子取“招财进宝”之音。还有蒸年糕。象征着收入、职位或小孩子都一年比一年高。另外还有让人食指大动的川味香肠和让人秀色可餐的腊肉等等。我们全家举杯欢庆，互相说着吉祥话，我们都在欢声笑语中吃得满嘴是油。

时间一分一秒的过去了，现在已在播出春节联欢晚会了。我们全家人坐在沙发上，高兴地看着春晚。春晚里的思乡歌，让我想起有些游子每逢佳节，不能与亲人团圆。里面的小品既让我们笑得前俯后仰，又让我懂得了一些道理。今年春晚的相声都有创新，特别是《这事不赖我》，能说是“长辈听得懂，笑翻年轻人”。最引人注目的是由蔡明、潘长江演的小品《想跳就跳》，可谓是春晚十分搞笑的节目。

在这短暂的寒假，不仅可以享受节日气氛给我带来的快乐，还可以享受各种各样的美食。

I plan to go to travel alone this summer vacation. I have traveled several times, but gone with my family or friends, never did it alone. I want to do it once, so I can train myself to be stronger and more confident. I told my parents about my plan, they supported me very much, and they thought it is a good opportunity to help me grow up. They also told me many tips of traveling and prepared the package for me. I am grateful that my parents understand me and respect my decision. I won’t let them down.

我计划这个暑假独自去旅行。我曾经去旅游过几次，但是都是跟我家人或者朋友去的，从来没有自己去过。我想独自旅行一次，这样可以锻炼自己更坚强更自信。我把我的计划告诉了我的父母，他们非常支持我，还认为这是帮我成长的一个号机会。他们还告诉了我许多旅行要点，并帮我准备行李。我非常感激父母的理解以及他们对我的决定的尊重。我不会让他们失望。

MY SCHOOL LIFE 我的学校生活

When I was six years old, I began to go to school. The first school (which) I attended was a primary school. There were many subjects (which were taught in the school, such as Chinese, arithmetic, history, geography, drawing and so forth. Since I was (became) a student, I studied very hard. My parents were quite proud of me.

After I had studied there for three years, I entered a junior high school. When I was twelve years old, I became a student of a senior high school. I still studied very hard. Except on sick leave I was never absent from class. Everybody looked upon me as a model student.

我六岁的时候，就开始上学了。我第一个上的学校是一所国小。学校里教的课目有许多，诸如国文，算术，史地，画图等等。既然我是一个学生，我就用功读书。我父母深以我为荣。

我在那边读了三年后，就进入初中。我十二岁的时候，就成为一个高中的物理学。我依旧用功读书。除病假外，我永不缺课。人人都把我看作是一个模范生。
