When first day I came to University, I really feel that the school is very good, but at the first sight of the dormitory, something disappointing come up to me! And then I came to my dormitory 303. I considered that I would spend four years here (in fact I moved to another one year later) and my dorm mates are all there. Most of them came from Sichuan and they were chatting with a happy voice, but I can’t understand them! Again, I felt myself isolated! I hated that kind of feeling, and then I said to hello to them! To my surprise they are very friendly to me and warm-hearted! I no longer felt afraid. And I got along well with them. But at the first night here, I burst out to tears for that I was missing my family. I don’t know why. Everyday when I was at home, I was just eager to go to school, to experience the wonderful college life but when coming here, I am just eager to go back! It’s quite strange though, you must know this kind of feeling!

Just spending about 2 days here, we were on our way to military train. To us, it’s a fresh train and a kind of experience to know the life between the classmates. But to me, I was nervous but excited. This was my first and precious train life because before going to school I have been staying with my family. So, you know, it’s just this kind of feeling I can’t convey it clearly! The train life is impressive on everybody; we had a lot of activities, for example giving a speech on a stage or singing together or playing basketball. At that time, I felt myself so little among them. All of them have a special talent but not me. I admired them but meanwhile jealousy. Why don’t I have this kind of talent? Am I stupid? I always said to myself. So that time I was also very ambitious, just eager to catch up with them. Except the classmates, the trainer in our team also left a deep impression on me! He was not very handsome and very kind. Just because of his kindness results in my laughter when training. He always said to me that I should be serious in the team but I didn’t listen to him. So after a long time, when investigating the training result, I gave them a disappointing answer. The highest trainer sent me to clean the toilet, although, it didn’t means insulting to my dignity, but I was really sad about myself and my heart was hurt. That was a small thing but told me that I need to be serious to one thing. And unhappiness passed, the happy and funny time recalled me that folding the blanket. Yeah, it’s really very funny. Most of us had never folded the blanket and naturally we can’t accomplish the task well. When the monitor came, we pleased him to help us to fold the blanket. To our expect, we managed to persuade the monitor. After the monitor finished the task for me. I dared not to touch the blanket again and just used the clothes instead of the blanket. Of course, I felt very cold in deep night, so to my instinct, I crashed into my classmate’s blanket. And we were scratching the single blanket fiercely, just like a war. Last sunday, Mr.Lee got up very early to go fishing.

He spent the whole day sitting beside the river but got nothing at the end of the day.

Therefore, Mr.Lee was very dissapointed due to that he had to go home by dinner time.

On his way home, Lee thought that his wife might be mad at him for bringing nothing back.

So he bought a big fish at the market before he got home.

My winter holiday life

I have a good time this winter holiday. During the Spring Festival, I am so happy to see some relatives and friends.

I like sports, so I usually do exercise in the morning or in the afternoon. I think this will be help for my health, so I keep doing exercise everyday.

Spring Festival in my Hometown

The Spring Festival, the most jubilant and important festival in China, is observed by most Chinese people at home and abroad. Our hometown is not an exception.

Similar with other places in china, we prepare for the festival about half a month before. With the lunar New Year approaching, the red lanterns are hung up along the main streets, making the ancient town filled with the festival atmosphere. While people clean up their houses, decorate it with traditional decorations such as Chinese knots and paper cutting. Each family pastes up Spring Festival couplets to convey their best wishes for the coming year.

On the New Year’s Eve, the whole family sits around, having a

sumptuous feast of reunion. It is worth mentioning that the food we have called maiyouzhi is unique. There is a flat piece of wheat sheet covering various vegetable and meat then rolling them up. What a delicious it is! After dinner, the family always watches the Spring Festival Gala Evening, and sets up fireworks to watch in the New Year.

On the first day of the New Year, people pay visits to the relatives and friends to send New Year’s greetings to each other and wish everything smoothly in the new year. The kids can get a lot of lucky money from the elders.

During the whole holiday, there are varied activities in the town such as lion and dragon dance, and all the citizens enjoy them very much.

People celebrate the festival until the Lantern festival. However, the wonderful memory and the joy of the Spring Festival will last long.

My College Life

How time flies! I have been in Zhejiang Gongshang University for a semester. In retrospect, my college life is busy but colorful. Different from my senior high school’s life, the whole new life I led is much freer. I arranged my time,

becoming the master of myself.

First of all, study is still the core of my life. I major in Japanese which is both interesting and challenging. We are required to be accomplished in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating. As a result I had to spend most of time in improving my abilities. Besides of the regular courses, I often attended the lecture and went to the library to eich my knowledge, and I do benefit from what I learnt.

As to the after school life, what I consider most meaningful is joining the YVP to serve society. I think it is the responsibility for every university student to make contribution to the community. Little as my effort is, I tried my best to help the people around us. Once the YVP organized us to sell secondhand books and raise the money to help the people indeed.

In addition, I quite enjoy the travels and the bees. Travels let me experience the sunshine, fresh air as well as the special taste of the local customs and practices. While the bees keep the friendship shining, and friends are as if family members. Both of them lit up my life.

All in all, the college life is a journey, and I have long way to go; all the memory is the most precious treasure, and I will value every moment.

她做头发不短不长，半红半黑，总是穿着一身黑色的上衣，带着一个眼镜。英语老师的皮肤不太白，但是有一双水灵灵的大眼睛，你说的也非常好，看起来非常严肃，但其实她很温柔，还经常拿英语跟我们做游戏，我们班的同学呀，都非常喜欢她。老师也经常我们讲小秘密！

英语老师一上课第一句话就是拿出一张纸，我们来听写，听写之后呢就是拿出书来读，昨天学的那一课。接着就是把作业给我们发下来，改完之后学习新一节课，写之前老师会问谁预习了？然后一大堆同学举手，英语老师就说：“那我来考考你们谁预习对了。”老师先点了一个人，问一用英文怎么说？那个同学就说：“一用英文说one”然后呢，老师就给没学过的同学们讲，23456782，用英文怎么说。接着叫我们写单词。一节课马上结束了，老师会带大家，讲一讲练习题还会，考核，还剩最后20分钟的时候，老师会带我们做个游戏就比如，你今年几岁啦？有人会说：“Im。Ten。”一节课结束后，老师会问，谁学会啦。下节课我就考今天学的。

这就是我们的英语老师。

过上自己想要的生活，是每个人都非常期盼的。去年年底，一部电影《等风来》又将大家的目光聚焦到这一话题上。影片里，女主角拿着两千元的工资却要指导月薪两万的人该如何生活，男主角背负着“富二代”的包袱不能实现自己的理想。这部电影让不少人产生共鸣。

追求理想是好事，但理想的实现却是漫长而艰难的过程。加上如今社会浮华，物欲横流，不少人在追寻梦想的道路上偏离了航道，被焦急和浮躁带得越来越远。许多职场人总觉得自己的工作特别苦，过的也不是自己想要的日子。随着一些国外思潮的过度宣扬，很多人的内心躁动起来，开始“追逐内心的声音”。他们动不动就招呼着辞职去旅行，不受窝囊气；工作的事能推就推，8小时之外却寻找赚钱快的小门路；下班回家就看电视，不愿好好学点东西……更有甚者，面对周围努力工作着的人，他们还会嗤之以鼻：“心灵导师说了，人不要活得太用力。”然而，越是这么想，就越容易脱离实际，之后就是无尽的抱怨。

人总以为幸福就是得到自己想要的人和东西，能去想去的地方，可以做想做的事，所以一生都在追求这些所谓想要的，同时想办法对抗和消除不想要的那些。实际上，这些所谓自己想要的生活，大都是想坐享其成、不劳而获。比如幻想遇到一个富二代，给自己一大笔钱去环游世界；但一提到努力工作去赚钱，就觉得这不是自己想要的生活。这种浮躁的心态除了与年轻人刚步入社会、心存迷茫有关外，还有以下几个原因：首先，改革开放30多年来，社会快速发展让人们的生活节奏加快。加上改革初期，不少人一夜暴富，让后来者总是幻想能有这样的机会。其次，不少媒体对成功人士过分渲染，让很多人对现实抱有不切实际的期望，将成功、暴富当作普遍存在的事情。殊不知，成功除了能力和机遇，在一定程度上还要靠运气。最后，学校和家长不停灌输“上了大学就有光明未来”的思想，让孩子把人生路简单化、理想化，上了大学就放慢了奋斗的步伐。

前段时间，看过一篇文章，里面有句话说得很好：“你的大学志愿是父母选的，你大学里的课程是挑好过的选的，那你凭什么要过上你想要的生活？”这句话告诉我们，不抱怨、不放弃才是每个人追逐理想最根本的精神状态。除此之外，我们还要将自己的姿态放低点，不要总认为现在的付出和收获不成比例。面对让我们痛苦、不如意的事物，不要对抗，而要与之和平共处。更重要的是，我们要充实自己，让自己变得更强。总之，如果真想为自己的内心做点事，那就从现在开始奋斗吧！

I like stay late at night and stay in bed late next morning. Usually, I won’t go to the bed before one o’clock. When my clock alarms the next morning, I have to struggle for a long time to get up.
