I was so busy in the previous winter holiday for I am going to take the

university entrance exam in July this year. Everyday, I buried myself in

studying. I had to review each required subject and do lots of exercises.

Besides, because I did bad in mathematics and physics, I had to do much more

Sichuan is located in the Upper Yangtze Valley in the southwestern part of the country. The second largest of the Chinese provinces, it covers an area of 220,100 square miles (570,000 square kilometres). Szechwan is bordered by the provinces of Kansu and Shensi to the north, Hupeh and Hunan to the east, and Kweichow and Yunnan to the south and by the Tibet Autonomous Region to the west and the province of Tsinghai to the northwest. It is the most populous province in China. The name Szechwan means “Four Streams” and refers to the four main tributaries of the Yangtze River, which flows through the province. The capital, Cheng-tu, is located in the centre of the province.

From economic, political, geographical, and historical points of view, the heart and nerve centre of Szechwan is in the eastern basin area, commonly known as the Sichuan, or Red, Basin. Its mild and humid climate, fertile soil, and abundant mineral and forestry resources make it one of the most prosperous and economically self-sufficient regions of China. The area has been seen by some as China in a microcosm and is often viewed as a country within a country. The Chinese call the basin Tien Fu Chih Kuo, which literally means “Heaven on Earth”.

不久之前，鹿特丹兵兵球联赛结束了，中国队又一次包揽了全金。但是在这次比赛的背后，也给了我们一些启示。所以说，我认为：在竞争中取得的成功才是最有价值与意义的。

首先，我认为，成功要靠实力说话。

以我在什刹海的亲身经历而言。我认为，在这里的每一分钟都不是多余的，教练科学地让学生们领会每一个技术和动作要领，并及时指出你的不足，你只需加以改正。就如我国兵兵球教练在答记者为什么我国的“国球”可以在世界上永垂不朽时，教练严肃的回答道：我们在每日的训练中严格要求球员不断超越与完善自我，并且珍惜每一次与国外球队切磋球技的机会。从而使我国的兵兵球队得到充分的发展，最终夺取一个又一个冠军。这也说明了我国可以再一次包揽全冠的原因。

成龙说过：成功者找方法，失败者找理由。

林肯在就任美国总统以前曾经竞选过议员和州长等职位，但是却屡次遭受失败的无情打击。可是他却并没有因为失败的痛苦使他的内心所疲惫，而是矗立在“废墟”上继续前行，去寻找更多的方法取得成功。果不其然，功夫不负有心人，在竞选美国总统的时候，他凭借自身的能力打败了对手，赢得了成功。也因为他这一次的放手一搏，才最终让他实现了自己的人生理想，让世人看到了他的伟大的人生价值。

上帝为你关上了一扇门，也会为你打开一扇窗。但是窗外的事物，必须要依靠你自己的努力来获得。

在几十年前，当宝马和奔驰已经被大众所广为接受的时候，日本汽车精英界的人士却想要打破这一场景，于是他们倾全身之力，只为研究一款可以与之相互媲美的车型。在实验的过程中，设计一次又一次被推翻，但是又会看到一次次新的尝试出现。最终，他们打造出来了一款令大众所接收的车型——雷克萨斯。至今还远销全国。但是如果他们当时选择了放弃，那么就不会让世人所享受如此好的产品了。所以说，从这里我们不难看出在竞争中取得成功的巨大价值。

当然，如果当年的秦始皇不启用商鞅变法来达到“富国强兵”的目标与他国竞争，那么他也不会一统中原。取得令当代人所瞩目的成功。也是因为在没有人与之竞争之后，秦王朝因苛捐杂税和暴政逐渐走向衰落，最终因农民起义推翻了他的统治。

其实人生路上有两种人：你的朋友，激励你不要气馁。你的对手，促进你奋发图强。

俗话说;行百里者半九十。然而，只要我们咬紧牙关，攻坚克难，并始终坚持下去。也会在将来有所成就。

“走出荆棘，迎来的就是灿烂的阳光。”就像我国的兵兵球队一样，今天的竞争也刻苦的训练是为了创造为更加明媚的明天做铺垫。

时不我待。

Zeng Qiao is one of my friends. She is a beautiful, outgoing and good-tempered girl. She smiles frequently. I think it’s her smile that makes her beauty. We live in the same dormitory, so that we always stay together, no matter going to classroom or having dinners. At first, I don’t like her very much, because she is always talking. It seems that she can’t stop open her mouth. I am a little bit quiet and introverted, so I seldom talk to others. But gradually, I find that she can have influence on others by what she says. Zeng Qiao likes sharing interesting things with others. For example, she likes telling us her funny stories of her childhood or her former classmates. She always tells me that I should be more extroverted and learn to talk to others. Under the influence of her, I communicate with others more frequently and I find that it feels so great. I am so grateful that I can have such a good friend.

Nowadays, more and more college students are addicted to online games. Those games may be funny and exciting, but are very harmful to those addicts.

In my opinion, there are many disadvantages of game addiction.Firstly, online games take up a lot of players time for study. Many of the addicts found themselves forced to drop out of school for poor academic performance. Secondly, addicts tend to isolate themselves from the reality. Whats worse , indulging in the virtual world for a long time, they are more liable to suffer mental problem and physical collapse. Thirdly , players are exposed to too much violent and unhealthy material, which is definitely harmful to their growth.

In short,I cannot see any benefits from online games.Study should be the primary concern of college students. Therefore,I do hope they can step away from online games.
