我所在的城市夏天很热，即使晚上也没有人愿意待在家里。人们经常到街上散步或者在露天的地方闲坐。他们聚在一块聊天，话题多种多样，比如他们的晚饭，家人，生活或者是一些身边有趣的新闻。有的人每天晚上都跳舞。他们把它当做是锻炼和交友的好机会。一些稍年长的人喜欢练太极，这更适合他们。至于我家，我们晚饭后经常出去。除了天气热以外，我们认为饭后散步对健康有好处。我们经常在外面待上半小时然后回家。但是我爸爸不喜欢出门因为他下班后很累。总之，夏天的生活丰富多彩，因为人们喜欢外出玩耍。

Who is your favourite person? I like Zhang Yining best. She is a famous ping-pong player. Now I will tell you something about her.

Zhang Yining was born on October 5, 1982 in Beijing. When she was 6, she began to play ping-pong. In 1991, she joined the provincial table-tennis team. In 1993, she entered the national team. She always worked hard, and she never gave up. So at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, she won the gold medal of Womens Singles. It was the hundredth gold medal that China got at the Olympic Games. Before this, she and Wang Nan won a gold medal together. She was the third player who obtained two gold medals at the same Olympics in ping-pong. Before her, only Deng Yaping and Wang Nan could do that.

So I think she is very great. We are all proud of her. We should learn from her. Dont you think so?

这几天，我心里不胜感慨，主要是细读了几篇文人墨客的佳作，更深谙了“花”这个字眼，也从中更崇仰于“花”的秉性。

清晨，我独自走在公园的小径上，夏日的暖风和牡丹的清香使我忽然想起了那早已填埋的荷塘。我加快了步伐，来到“接天连叶无穷碧，映日荷花别样红”的地方。荷塘虽已面目全非，但在我的心扉里留下了深刻的印象。

池塘早已变成了大堆，它们周边还遗留着水泥围栏，上面仍然残余着一些污水的痕迹，早锻炼的时间到了，老人们陆陆续续地走进了池塘旁的“牡丹园”里，他们匆匆而过，对往日的荷塘熟视无睹，难道他们忘记夏日里与荷花和谐相处的那段美好时光吗?唉!

遗憾之感油然生。

走出小园的时候，我回眸着荷塘，无意之中看见一位与我相仿的小女孩，她拿出了一条洁白的毛巾，正在擦去池边水泥栏 上的灰尘与淤泥，轻轻地拂拭着，啊!

这不会是我的共鸣者吧? 回到家中，打开了搁置在柜子底层的那只箱子，放在夹层中精美的相册被我拿了出来，夹在第一格的那张“荷花图”是一年 前拍的，虽然只隔了三百六十五天，但恍然像过了几十年，这个世界里，只有我，只有我一个人，贪婪地欣赏着这往日夏荷塘的胜景。

整个池塘内，最引人注目，最讨人喜欢的当然要属荷花了。正是由于有了荷花的点缀，才使这人类的夏天更充满了无限机。

环形的荷塘上面生长的是那“荷叶何田田”的叶子，叶杆抽得很高，如亭亭舞女的洁雅之裙，不沾一丝污迹，层层叠叠的青间，星罗棋布地长着些粉红色的花朵，有袅娜地开着的，有羞涩打着朵它从浑浊的污泥中长出来，却不受到一点玷污，虽经清洗 涤却不显得娇媚。荷花永远保持着淡泊名利，洁身自好，卓尔独立，从不同流合污的人生态度。它将毕生的经力和心血都倾给了这个世界，因为荷花不仅带来了赏心悦目的美丽风景，而它的地茎，籽实都可以供人们食用，藕节，莲子与荷叶都能做材，真可谓物尽其用。

此时，我思绪激荡，想到了抗战时期伟大的戏曲家梅兰芳先生在日寇铁蹄践踏中国时，日本人为了粉饰太平，盛情邀请先去 唱戏，梅兰芳想到自己作为一个中国人，无论环境多么艰难都不能丧失民族气节，卖身求荣，他蓄须明志，拒绝演出，保了像荷花那样的高风亮节，玉洁冰清的秉性。

和平年代的“城市美容师”清洁工们，他们虽然受到某些人的歧视，但成为了城市中最闪眼的一朵花。他们早出晚归，畏 夏日的炽热，不畏冬日的寒风，辛勤地工作在自己的岗位上洁净如新的地面就是他们高尚精神的标志，然而，假如没有了环卫工人，谁来维护整个城市的美好卫生环境，谁能保证整个家天天都整洁干净呢?他们也不正像荷花一样不畏污浊，不辞辛劳，为社会默默地奉献着自己的“幽香”。

我奢望着，期盼能在园中再一睹荷花的美容芳姿，企盼着社会 能涌现出更多的出淤泥而不染的“荷花”。
