whole morning to watch TV. After finishing my lunch, I had nothing to do, so I

decided to call my friends out. I headed to the coffee shop which was near a

参加市赛的早上，我和妈妈坐车到了目的地。当时，太阳特别大，天特别热，而且人山人海。我们到了之后赶紧报到，接着就排队去比赛了。因为我是最后一个，等了好久才轮到我，裁判先让我抽图，准备看图说话，再自我介绍。我觉得自己前两个环节表现得挺好的，最后是回答问题，这个环节有点难，四个题中我只答出两个。紧接着裁判宣布结果，我心想：肯定有我！肯定有我！结果，真的有我！我拿了市赛一等奖，进入了省赛。

Like any other English learner, I met a lot of difficulties in learning English.

First, I found it difficult to understand what I read because most English words have more than one meaning. Besides, I found it difficult to write in idiomatic English or put Chinese into idiomatic English. Finally, I couldnt express in English orally because I had no opportunity to communicate with native English speakers. Although I often read aloud, this didnt prove to be an effective way to improve my spoken English.

Second, I enlarge my vocabulary by learning the dictionary by heart. To overcome Chinese English, I tried to think in English directly. Although I still had no opportunity to communicate with native speakers, I improved spoken English by listening to the English broadcast and writing English composition. 接着，老师语重心长地对陶文星说：“你看，大家都笑了，说明这个不帅，以后不要再玩了，好吗？”说完后，她就把陶文星脸上的书签撕了。陶文星也点了点头。

下课了，同学们都和王老师在一起玩，王老师跟我们一起谈谈自己生活和烦恼，这时她就是我们的知心朋友。
