可如今，人们的生活水平不断提高了，我再也找不到我心中最美的家乡了。现在，它是让我感到那么的陌生。家乡现已铺上了水泥道，本来这是件好事，但公路两旁却堆起了一座座小山似的垃圾堆。“森林公园”不见了，代替它的是一座座工厂，工厂里排放出来的“三废”，即废水、废气、废渣，严重的影响到村里的环境。废水流到小河里，转眼间，小河的水变成五颜六色了，里面的鱼大多都死了，浮到河面上，微风吹过，不时发出一阵阵使人感到恶心的气味。废气传到空气中，空气受到了严重的污染，人们再也呼吸不到清新的空气了。废渣堆放到地上，使土壤严重地遭到破坏，如果用这些土壤去种植庄稼，那些庄稼必定很难成活……我常常望着眼前的家乡问自己：“这就是我的家乡吗?它为什么会变成这个样子?我儿时的‘森林公园’，儿时的‘玉带’，它们到哪儿去了?”

Hunan Province is in the south of China,which covers an area of 211,800 square kilometers.The population is about 66 million and the capital city is Changsha.

There are many places of interest in Hunan,such as Zhangjiajie and Mount Heng.And a lot of famous persons were born here like Mao Zedong and Zeng Guofan.

Hunan is rich in natural resources.And it has made great achievements in economic development.

Spring Festival is the most important festival for Chinese people. The Spring Festival is very exciting, especially on the eve of the Spring Festival.

春节对于中国人来说是最重要的节日。在每年的春节都让人兴高采烈，尤其是大年三十那晚，更是达到了高潮。

The Spring Festival lasts for 15 days, there would be starting on the first day, to the end of the January 15 Lantern Festival.it is the busiest time of the year for Chinese people. The arrangements they have to make for family reunions， buying necessities and preparing food keeps them busy throughout the holiday. Many of them travel back home and meet friends over dinner and drinks. The celebrations include decorating the house and setting off fireworks.But we are talking about a tradition that seems to be fading.

春节一共有15天，从大年初一开始，到元月十五元宵节这一天结束。在这段比较长的时间是中国人最忙的时候，他们为家庭聚会作安排，采购年货，准备丰盛的食物，以至于整个春节假期都忙忙碌碌的。许多人在春季期间都要回老家过年，跟朋友碰碰头，聚个餐。庆祝春节也包括大扫除和放烟火。但是我们现在要谈的是越来越淡的年味。

Yet no Spring Festival is complete without food. People could not get good food whenever they desired in earlier times， something that does not apply to society today. More often than not， people faced the risk of famine. The best time for people to celebrate was when food was available in plenty， and that was possible in spring， or the beginning of the lunar new year. That was the main reason why Spring Festival acquired such great importance among Chinese people.

但是没有哪个春节是完全离得开“吃”的。从前，不论人们提前多久想要买年货，总是不能如愿，而现在早已今非昔比。过去常常还要闹饥荒。人们最好的庆祝时间就是他们能得到食物丰盛的时候，也就是春天或是元月初的那段时间。那也是为什么春节对于中国人如此重要的主要原因。

But three decades of economic growth has ensured that people in China， except for those who are still poor， can enjoy a good meal whenever they want. Such has been the change in people‘s fortune that some have to be treated for obesity and other health problems associated with excessive eating.

但是三十年来的经济发展已经让中国人，除了那些仍然穷苦的人以外，随时都能享受美食。这得益于人民财富的增长，但是后者也导致一些人吃得太多而受到肥胖威胁和健康问题。

In the past， celebrations were limited to events like song-and-dance duets in North China， dragon/lion dances in South China and fireworks， which required the joint efforts of the entire community. But economic development and urbanization seems to have weakened the social links among people. Many， especially those living in cities， are not interested in celebrating the festival with people they hardly know.

在过去，庆祝春节还只停留在北方的二人转和南方的舞龙舞狮等形式。那些庆祝活动往往需要许多人合力才能办得起来。但是经济的发展和国际化程度的提升似乎已经将这种社会联系弱化了。许多人，特别是城市居民，不太愿意与不相识的人一起共度春节。

Many customs associated with Spring Festival have changed， too. In the past， people used to visit relatives and friends with gifts and lots of good wishes. Today， many people， especially the youth， use their cell phones or the Internet to send their good wishes and even "gifts" to their relatives and friends. Some may say this a sign that people have become less caring about their near and dear ones， but we should see this development as a time- and energy-saving exercise granted by the information age.

与春节相关的许多习俗也被改变了。在过去，人们常常会带着礼物走亲访友，互道祝福。今天许多人，特别是年轻人，用手机或是网络向亲朋好友发去“礼物”和祝福。有些人或许会说，这说明人们已经没有那么关心至爱亲朋了，但是我们应该把这种变化看作信息化时代省钱省力的好办法。

In recent times， many people have started praying for a career promotion or more money instead of invoking God or the Buddha for a healthy and long life and the welfare of their family. But the number of such people is decreasing now， which shows that people are becoming more reasonable.

最近几年，许多人开始祈祷事业高升，财源滚滚，而不是求神拜佛，他们身体健康，长命百岁，家庭美满。但是这样的人数现在正在减少，说明人们开始变得更加理性。

我的家乡在扬州。我的家乡有很多景点，有瘦西湖、个园、何园。可是我最喜欢的还是扬州古运河。

扬州古运河是扬州城的“母亲河”，扬州是唯一与中国古运河同生共长的城市，是天下独一无二的“运河城”。 中国古运河是世界上开凿时间最早、流程最长的人工河流，与万里长城一同被誉为中国古代的两大工程奇迹，而它的发端就在我们扬州。

这条象征着智慧、古老、青春的河，千百年以来，滋润灌溉着扬城——这片美丽富饶的土地，哺育着这儿的人民，给这里带来了无限的繁荣与快乐。古运河对扬州城的诞生和成长，对扬州文化的发展和繁荣，都具有无可替代的重要意义。

古运河两岸依依的杨柳，远远望去，柳枝姑娘在风中尽情地摇摆着柔软的身子，多么像在抖动她那长长的发辫儿呀!当河面风平浪静时，柳树好像一位温顺的长发姑娘，将满头青丝洒向水面;站在河边往河底看,游鱼水藻都可以看的清清楚楚,每当天气晴朗时,蓝天、白云、绿树、红花都倒映河水中好像一幅幅五彩缤纷的图画. 到了夜晚，扬州城灯火通明，运河岸上临水的霓虹灯齐放光彩,倒映在古运河中,犹如仙境一般.横跨在河面上的一座座大桥,远看成了一道道美丽的彩虹,向人们诉说扬州的美丽与繁荣.

“到北京看长城，来扬州看运河”，如今古运河两岸已成为扬州的风光带,成为扬州人民、外地游客和国际友人观光休闲的好去处。随着经济的发展与进步，我相信未来的扬州古运河会更加美好!

扬州著名的地方有很多，如：瘦西湖、大运河、大明寺……我今天就给你们说说我的家乡扬州。

扬州以运河兴而兴，以运河败而败，所以运河是扬州的核心。相传吴国的吴王夫差开辟了邗沟——这就是最先的运河。后来隋炀帝为了观琼花正式开辟了大运河，就是现在我们看到的这条运河。扬州也从那时(公元589年)，正式称为扬州。扬州以前还有过“广陵”、“江都”、“吴州”等称谓呢!

典型的盐商住宅是坐落在扬州东圈门地宫第一街街北14号的汪氏小苑。它是扬州保存最为完整的清末民初大型盐商住宅之一。全苑占地3000余平方米，遗存老屋近百间，建筑面积也有1600余平方米。

看到了吧，知道这些盐商们有多厉害了吧。说直接了吧，就是家产无数。在那时候盐商们合起来交的税，可以够你活几世了。“不信?”不信，我就给你们讲讲。在以扬泰为中心的两淮盐场，在清代康熙、乾隆时期上缴的盐税占了清朝全国财政收入的四分之一。在当时曾有“两淮盐税甲天下”之说。

再过几天第三节运博会就要开始了。在运博会上，扬州一定会给世人一个惊喜、许多亮点、一份骄傲。在运博会上，运河一定会用它那源远流长的河水去创造一个又一个的奇迹。

As everyone knows that China is one of the most beautiful Countries all over the world. It is really famous for its long history and civilizations. As a Chinese girl, I’m so proud of my Country. And of course, I love it deeply in my heart. not just because it’s my hometown.

Daqing is beautiful and modern. Thescenery here is so attractive. Everyone will love it at the fist sight.

When you come to Daqing, you will see museums, parks and shopping centers here and there. Wherever you go, you can see green trees, grass and beautiful flowers. what’s more,there are many places of historic interest in Daqing. Such as Iron Man Memorial Museum, Childrens Park, Times square and the wetland tourism Taikang. I am sure that the beautiful scenery will attract more people to come here.

Daqing is also famous for its oil. It provides oil for our Country. Thus it is an important city in China. I am proud of it.

I also love the spirit of Daqing-the Iron Man Wang Jinxi Spirit.Wang Jinxi is a hero of Daqing. I learn a lot from him. Work hard! Persevere! And never give up!
