What is music, no one can explain.

Serious Floods

The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And its important and helpful to us Chinese. But these days the Yangtze River is bringing us serious floods.

Many villages were destroyed by floods. The floods made hundreds of millions of people lose their homes, relatives and friends. 长江是中国最长的河流。它对我们中国人十分重要。但现在长江给我们带来了严重的水灾。

家乡有一条潺潺的小溪，清澈见底，溪水很浅，只到我的膝盖。溪底可以见到很多鹅卵石，踩在上面，让你既疼又痒。溪边种着几棵不知名的小草，翠绿翠绿，倒映在溪上，将小溪染绿了。我小时候喜欢趴在溪边，看着流水从上游流到下游。可惜现在小溪被水泥给代替了。心中不免有些惆怅。

家乡靠着山，每当春天，满山遍野都是一片翠绿，在绿中点缀着粉红桃花，洁白的梨花和那些村庄居民们自己开辟的田野，多么和谐的一幅画啊。我喜欢随着大人们上山去树林中的水井打水。井的周围有大片树林，还有那些不知名的小花和蘑菇。当大人们坐在井边闲聊时，我便会跑到一边看小花，和虫子玩。

我喜欢我的家乡，因为那是我小时候住的地方，家乡的居民大多都养了家禽。闲暇时，我与鸡鸭为伍。我坐在石头上，看着它们，它们也看着我，我和它们产生了深厚的友谊。

我的家乡是美丽的，家乡居民们守望相助，即使发生纠纷也会很快和好。那些在故乡的美好一切，我一辈子也不会忘记。

我的家乡是多么的美丽啊！它就是苏北平原上的一颗灿烂的明珠——扬州。

扬州的风景非常美丽，特别是公园，有个园、何园，还有瘦西湖……其中，我最喜欢的是瘦西湖了。瘦西湖里有无数棵的柳树，嫩绿的柳枝倒映在清澈的湖水里，看上去就像一个少女正在湖边梳着长长的头发。每当春天到来时，湖边都会开满桃花，桃花的颜色最特别了，有红色、粉色、白色……当风儿吹来时，远远望去，就像五颜六色的蝴蝶在翩翩起舞。快听，船娘一边摇着船，一边唱着动听的扬州民歌《茉莉花》……连小鸟都听得如痴如醉，叽叽喳喳跟着一起唱着美妙的歌曲。

扬州还有许许多多的名胜古迹——文昌阁、四望亭、石塔寺、平山堂、五亭桥、白塔……特别是我们汶河小学门前的两棵千年古树——银杏树，每天都傲然挺立在路边，好像在告诉我们扬州悠久的历史，还好像在告诉我们：新的一天又要开始了，孩子们努力吧！

我突然想起一首诗：“古人西辞黄鹤楼，烟花三月下扬州。孤帆远影碧空尽，唯见长江天际流。”是啊，在滚滚的长江边上，我的家乡扬州真美啊！

今天我到下面院子里玩的时候，看见天上的云很像棉花糖，我就想飞上天吃云，可我没有飞行器，飞不了啊，飞机也不行，主要是我不知道云会不会一站在上面就掉到地上?我要登天是不太可能的。长大以后我要当科学家，做一艘火箭飞上天，去试一下云朵是什么味道。

living an unhealthy life, they like to stay up and wake up at the noon. young

people form the habit of taking activity at night while sleeping in the day. how

terrible it is, they are damaging their bodies, their bodies will get older than

the normal speed. if people sleep early and wake up in the morning, do some

exercises and keep the balance diet, they will look young. so don’t expect the
