Construction of the palace complex began in 1407, the 5th year of the Yongle reign of the third emperor of the Ming dynasty. It was completed fourteen years later in 1420. Roofs are built with yellow glazed tiles; decorations in the palace are painted yellow; even the bricks on the ground are made yellow by a special process. However, there is one exception. I have read a story about a person named Gorden, who actually went almost all of the places in the world. I kind of like that and admire of him. I like travel, seriously I do. Another reason is that I like adventures. Adventures are cool, it gives you more experiences and, as I mentioned that Gorden, he met lots of difficulties when he went travel. He went to Amazon, which therere so many snakes and aligators. A friend of his actually died in that trip!!! Its sometimes a bad thing for travel, too. Anyway, I just like to travel!! I like to met all those sorts of difficulties (I didnt mean to die!). Mountain biking is also a kind of travel, and that, I dreamed of doing it!!! Mountain biking is so cool!! Travel to the forest Have you ever been fed up with the boring life in the city? It is sunny on 11th,april,saturday. My parents and I paid a visit to Qingdao by bus. There are many places of interest in Qingdao.

we went to the beach, visited the Musuem and May 4th Square.It got its name in memory of the May 4th Movement.

It is composed of the Shizhengting Square, the central square and the coastal park.

We also had all kinds of delicious seafood.

Although were tired,we had a good time. I want to visit Qingdao again.

My whole family to yunnan travel, swim many scenic spots in yunnan is very famous, such as lijiang, shangri-la, in the big... But there is a scenic spot to let me the most amazing, the most difficult to forget, it is the stone forest.

Yunnan is known as the stone of the world. Into the stone forest, feel like they are in the fairyland.

云南以石头闻名世界。走进石林，有种身临仙境的感觉了。

清晨，石林的雾还真是与众不同。近看它像缕缕青烟，把那奇妙的风景遮得朦朦浓浓。一阵大风吹过，云雾散开，种种奇妙的风景浮现在眼前。远看，像一片波涛汹涌的大海。山峰露出一个小尖，仿佛是海里的一个荒岛。

我们继续跟着导游往前走，越往深处越冷，这时一股冷气向我袭来，一个又一个的喷嚏就跟过来了。走着走着，导游突然停了下来，一只手高高地指着远处的山峰，一边介绍着。原来，那座巍峨雄伟的山叫“莲花峰”。我仔细瞧瞧那莲花峰，它形状似一朵盛开的莲花，石头的形状如同一片片花瓣：上窄下宽。用一个个石头组成一朵大莲花，形态逼真。这么奇妙的“莲花峰”我怎能不把它带回家，“咔嚓”一声，“莲花峰’就搬家了，我决定，一定要把这个美景永久地保存下来。

一路上，奇峰怪石竖立着。忽然，我看见一块石头，横跨在石壁上，十分险恶，眼看就快掉下来了。可爸爸告诉我，这块怪石已经横跨峭壁上千年了，一直没有砸下来，这块石头就叫做“风吹石”。

通过这次旅行，让我认识到了一些课本上学不到的东西，这么美丽的景色真让人留连忘返，美丽的石林景色永远铭记在我心中。

The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang . I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern . The  Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.

Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing

travel is beneficial to us in at least three ways.

first, by traveling we can enjoy the beautiful scenery in different places. we will see with our own eyes many places read of in books, and visit some famous cities and scenic spots.

second, we will meet people with different interests and see strange and different things when we travel. we can get ideas of the conditions and customs of other people, taste different foods and local flavours if we like. in this way, we can understand how differently other people live.

third, travel will not only help us to gain knowledge of geography and history and other knowledge, which will arouse our deeplove :for our m0therland, but also will help us keep healthy and make us less narrow-minded. travel does benefit us both mentally and physically.

with all these advantages of travel, it is no wonder that travel has now become more popular than ex‘er in china.
