Planting Trees植树

It was fine on March 12, 201x. I got up early that day. All the students in our school went to the hill to plant trees.

We arrived at the hill at eight oclock. The teacher asked each of us to plant at least six trees. Then we started digging, planting and watering. We all worked so hard that we could finish our tasks ahead of time. Among us,Wang Lin, our monitor set a good example for us. Though he was ill, he worked harder. In the United States, pranks are played on just about everybody. Pranks range from the standard "Your shoe is untied", to some very creative and elaborate ideas. The only "rule" is that no one should be harmed. The best jokes are when everybody including the victim laughs.

I went skiing with my friends on Sunday. It was my very first time to try this super interesting sport. I really enjoyed skiing A LOT, and I think that I have potential!!! For the entire afternoon, I only fell down twice before our coach actually came and taught us the correct postures. After some basic and advanced practices, I did try to ski down the hill, and it was AWESOME ! I think Ill try to go skiing as often as possible. However, wearing all the equipment to walk with is GOD DAMN exhausted!

Recently, I read a great book,Childhood,which is written byGorky. It’s a novel based on the experiences of the author’s tragic childhood, telling the stories about the author between his three to ten years old. Aliocha has a bad childhood. His father and mother die in his early ages, so that he has to live with his great-grandparents. His great-grandfather is bad tempered and his uncles hate him very much. Great-grandmother is the only person who cherished him. Besides, Aliocha also feel the pureness, friendship by his playmates. Through this book, we can see a poor, ugly society, but we also can see an adamant, compassionate little child who constantly pursuits of good things in life. It’s hard to imagine how he can stick to the faith of life in such bad environment. As for us, we live in a much better environment; of course we should cherish our happiness and be strong to face difficulties in life.
