今天是元旦，是新的一年的开始。时间就像一条记忆的长河，匆匆地、悄悄地流过，眨眼间，又迎来了新的一年。“四气新元旦，万寿初今朝”，今天是新一年的开始――元旦。

奶奶要包汤圆，并且拿了一元钱，清洗了好多遍。我很好奇，奇怪的问奶奶：“奶奶，你拿一元钱干什么?”奶奶笑道：“小孙女，你还小，不懂，每到元旦每家每户都要吃汤圆，并且拿一元钱包在里面。谁要是吃到了这平安钱，上天会保佑她在这一年里都平平安安的。”“那我一定要吃到”我高兴的大叫。

我心急如焚，真想看见那热腾腾的汤圆，还有那个幸运的平安钱。不一会儿，奶奶把刚刚煮好的汤圆端了出来，看的爸爸妈妈的口水都流下来了。我第一个跑到桌前，左看右看，还是没看出来那个有钱。最后，我端了一碗我认为有钱的汤圆。爸爸是最后到的，因此，他吃的是最后一碗。

“啊，好硬。”爸爸大叫。

原来那钱在爸爸的碗里，唉!我是第一挑的，没有钱，而爸爸是最后吃人挑完的，他却吃到了那平安钱。这就叫“人算不如天算”啊!

总之，2016年的元旦，我还是很高兴的!

今天是元旦，说起元旦还是有来历的呢。“元”有始之意，“旦”指天明的时间，也通指白天。“元旦”便是一年开始的第一天。庆贺新年的开始，欢度元旦可说是世界各地区的普通习俗。在我国，还列入了国定假日，人们可以一起祝福新年的来临。举行了一些活动来迎接新年的到来。

元旦，我们去了洛阳的洛海公园，天气虽然很冷，但我的心情依然很愉快，云白的像蓝天特意送给我们的天然棉花糖。天空把太阳从白云姐姐身后提了出来，路旁的柏树挺直了身躯，它们在风的吹拂下微微点头。一进大门，首先映入眼帘的是大河上面结的一层厚厚的冰块，我们沿着河边走了一段路，我拿起大块的冰向河面扔着玩，惹得弟弟哈哈大笑，我们上了岸就看见树上结了一层“冰花”，可能由于天气太冷，园林工人们浇的水立刻就变成了冰，一看到这，我想起了冰灯节，那各式各样的冰灯在五彩的灯光映衬下别提有多漂亮了。反正冬天是个美丽的季节。

快乐的时光总是短暂的，临近黄昏，我们结束了一天的旅程。

Last summer, intolerable heat, so mom and Dad brought our family went to see the ice sculpture museum.

As soon as we walked into the ice sculpture museum, we felt the chill of the inside, and I knew it was only minus six degrees Celsius. Were just like going into a big fridge. Ice sculptures in the ice sculpture hall are lifelike. It stood the ancient "Four Beauties": Sha Shi, Mochizuki Pipa Wang Zhaojun, Diao Chan, Yang dancing, all lovingly pathetic. The side see also the twists and turns of the bridge deck and handrails, sparkling, shining. There are all kinds of ice sculptures at the side of the bridge. It was found that the eaves of a unique Pavilion were flying, the pillars were beautiful, and the chairs were exquisite, so that people could not help sitting down and resting for a while. She completely deprived me of sharing her work. As soon as I opened a book to read,she would sit down beside me ask me about all kinds of things at the college. To please her,I told her one thing after another,and soon I forgot all about books. Even when I was actually reading,she would, now then,insist that I should eat an egg or drink a cup of tea. When I left home at the end of the vacation, not a thing in my plan had been carried out. But I felt very happy. I believed more deeply than before in the old saying: Home, sweet home. There’s no place like home!

Today, my parents were not at home, they had something to deal with, so

they left me alone. I was so happy because I could be in charge in my own house,

it made me feel like I was a grow-up. I wanted to give my parents a surprise, so

I planned to clean the house. It was not easy to do the house chores, first, I

swept the floor and took notice of every corner. And then I rearranged the

messed things. I just wanted to make sure the room would be very clean at first

sign. When my parents went home, they couldnt believe what I had done, they

were so happy that I could take care of myself.

砸冰比赛正式开始。偌大的冰湖一眼望不到头，只能听见怒吼的狂风卷着雪花，拍打在冰面上发出的“呜呜”响声。

砸冰比赛规则：谁打的洞多，谁就胜利了。“比赛开始！”，我不管三七二十一用脚踩下一块冰，拿起来大喊“看我的寒冰击！”，随即奋力砸了下去了，一下打出了一个大洞，到妈妈了，她先用石头砸出一块冰，拿起冰来，用力一抛，不知为什么，砸出一个比我还大的洞来。最终砸冰比赛以1:1成了平局。砸冰比赛也在欢笑中结束了------

"xin" means "new" and "nian" means "year". there are many stories told about the origin of "nian", which actually is a name of animals.   the old story says that the beast "nian" with a very big mouth was so fierce and could swallow many people in one single bite. people were very scared. an old man offered to subdue "nian" and said to "nian": "i hear that you are very capable, but can you swallow the other beasts instead of people who are by no means of your worthy opponents?" so "nian" swallowed many of the other beasts that hurt people and their domestic animals. the old man turned out to be an immortal god and riding the beast "nian" flied to the heaven. now that "nian" is gone and other beasts were also scared into forests, people began to enjoy their peaceful life. before the old man left, he had told people to put up red paper decorations on their windows and doors at each years end to scare away "nian" in case it sneaked back again, because red is the color the beast feared the most.   from there on, the term "guo nian" has the meaning of "pass-over" or "survive" the "nian". by tradition, chinese businesses had to pay off all debts by the year-end and thus if they could get it over, it is worth for the celebration of the new year.   today people still put up red paper and firing firecrackers as way of celebration. "guo nian" becomes a tradition of celebration for thousand of years.

As is well known,books teach us to learn life,truth,science and many other

useful things.They increase our knowledge,broaden our minds and strengthen our

character.In other words,they are our good teachers and wise friends.This is the

reason why our parents always encourage us to read more books.

Reading is a good thing,but we must pay great attention to the choice of

books.It is true that we can derive benefits from good books.However,bad books

will do us more harm than good.

众所周知，书籍教会我们学习生活、真理、科学和许多其他有用的东西。它们增加了我们的知识，开阔了我们的思想，增强了我们的品格。换句话说，它们是我们的良师益友。这就是为什么我们的父母总是鼓励我们多读书。

Last week my parents and I went to Europe for a visit. We had a wonderful time there.

It took us about ten hours to fly from Beijing to Budapest, Hungary. And then we visited France, Germany, Italy and other countries. Europe was really beautiful.

The sky was blue, and the sunshine was bright. There were not so many tall buildings there as we had expected. Most of the people there were polite and friendly.

I was glad that when I spoke a little English, they all understood. After we stayed there for half a month, I began to miss my hometown. I couldnt live there for a whole life, though it was beautiful.

2008年12月31日,我们学校举行一个主题为“感恩2008,欢庆2009”的元旦庆祝会.

在这一天,教室被我们装饰的喜气洋洋,漂亮极了!桌椅摆放的整整齐齐,围成了一个圆圈,窗上贴上了许多大红“福”字,黑板写上“感恩2008,欢庆2009”的大标题,又画上了精美的图案,墙顶上挂着五彩缤纷的拉花……

庆祝会的第一篇章是“感恩片”.我们全班同学先目不转睛的观看了学校为我们精心制做的幻灯片，由此，我们感受到学校对我们的辛勤培育;接着，我们又认真倾听了三位家长讲 述自己孩子的成长故事，由此我们感受到家长对我们的辛苦养育，然后我们又展示了自己为老师画的教师画像，以谢师恩;之后，我们又给学校工作人员献上贺卡，以感谢多年来他们为我们的辛苦付出;最后我又以拥抱的方式感谢同学之间的彼此关爱与帮助。

庆祝会的第二篇章是“欢庆篇”。我们表演了优美的舞蹈，唱起了动人的歌曲，变出了神奇的魔术````而我表演的是童话剧，我们的演出精彩，台下同学抱以热烈的掌声。后来我们和家长玩起了游戏，整个教室成了欢乐的海洋。

快乐的时光总是短暂的，转眼已到下午3点，我们恋恋不舍的离开学校，我盼望2010年的元旦庆祝会早日到来。

I was bored. So I wanted to travel to Hong Kang. I told my father my

decision. To my surprise, my father agreed. My father thought I always at home

was bad. He thought I should go out to see our country clearly. How beautiful

our country is! My father drove me a travel service. I filled out an application

January 21

It was cooler than yesterday. One of my father’s friends invited me to eat red bayberries. You must know it is unusual. Because we will climb the hill to eat red bayberries. Today I found time was a cruel thing. Whatever man is, time always goes on. It won’t stay to wait for somebody. You can’t use anything to exchange time. Time is also a fair thing. Although you have a lot of money or you enjoy high reputation, time won’t leave them more. Today I found I hadn’t enough time. Although I have 50-day holiday, but I found I had a lot of things to do. January 23

I have rested for 10 days. In these days, I felt very bored. I didn’t know to do what. Although I had a lot of things to do, I felt uncomfortable. I was ill because of the cold weather. 1. 日记写作格式

英语日记的格式与中文日记大体一样。英语日记通常由两部分组成，即书端和正文。

2. 英语日记的写作文体

4. 养成积累词语的习惯
