Spring is coming. It is the season for planting trees. On Sunday, our

teacher led us to the suburb to plant trees. We brought some spades, pails and

saplings with us. On arriving there, everybody went into action in no time. We

dug square pits first. Then two persons were needed to plant a tree. One held

the sapling carefully and the other put the soil in. I wish the saplings would

grow up quickly.

I’m looking forward to the coming of my winter holiday. In order to have a

good time in the vacation, I have made a plan for it. At first, my mother must

ask me to do homework. If I don’t follow her words, I wouldn’t have peace in the

following days until I finish my homework. So the first thing I will do in the

winter holiday is to finish my homework. And then I will take full use of my

time to go out play with my friends, because I will have to help my mother to

今天，是元旦节。下午，我们班进行了“元旦联欢会”。

第一，注意日记的格式：一般是左上角写当天的日期，右上角写当天的天气情况(cloudy/clear/windy/rainy/fine/snowy…)。日期通常采用两种写法：一种是按“月、日、年”顺序；另一种是按“日、月、年”的顺序。注意要在年份之前有一个逗号，而且月份通常可用缩写词（如：Jan.,Feb.,Mar.等）。如果需要写星期，可将其写在日期的前面或后面。如：Monday,May15th,2008或May15th,2008,Monday

第二，抓准日记的时态：日记记叙的时间通常是在当天的下午或晚上，因此所用的时态多为过去时态。但应灵活掌握，如果日记叙述天气、描写景色或为了描写生动，也可用现在时。

第三，日记一般按事情发生的先后顺序记述，所以常需借助一些表示先后顺序的词语，如atfirst,then,lateron,afterwards,finally,atlast等。一定要注意句与句、段与段之间的连接和过渡，适当使用一些过渡词语使其连接紧凑、过渡自然。

第四，确立日记的中心要点，尽量突出主题，可以通过对某个细节、某个侧面的描写来突出主题，千万不要写成一个流水帐。

the name "ivory tower" given by people, its a good place to live and study. In

Many girls have the sweet dream that one day there is a boy who stands

元旦前的一个星期，老师说下个星期要举行元旦联欢会，要做好准备。同学们有的高兴地跳起来、有的坐在座位上笑，我也很开心。老师又说：“可以一边吃东西、一边看表演。”同学们听了更是兴奋无比，气氛比原来更热闹了。

放学以后，有四五个同学来找我：“想不想跟我们一起表演。”我回答：“我不想，三年级我表演过，这次我真不想表演。”他们闷闷不乐地走了。同桌问我演出时拿什么吃的?我说：“要拿点瓜子、糖果。”她一听说：“太少了，你多拿点。”我说：“我不想拿那么多，拿那多吃不完怎么办。”她说：“说得挺有道理!”

终于，让同学们期待以久的“元旦联欢会”到来了，我们在这热闹非凡的教室里表演节目，特别开心。

老师一声令下：“元旦联欢会”开始。四位主持人上来说一堆祝福话，最后说了：“掌声有请苏永康带来的武术表演。”只见苏永康拿着一根不长不短的棍子，慢慢地走到教室中心，先向我们敬礼，然后拿起棍子，开始了表演。一个飞扑，一个左劈，一个高跳，打得是津津有味。

节目很多，我记不住了，一节课的时间表演完了，还有一节课的时间怎么办?我环顾一下四周，有的吃瓜子、有的吃糖果、有的吃橘子、有的吃苹果，吃什么的都有。

老师忽然说：“谁想表演节目的，可以自己上来表演。”有个叫王少东的同学，上去出几个迷语，没难住大家。忽然有个叫郭旱森的上去跳舞，跳舞跳得很搞笑，同学们投以糖果表示感谢。

没人表演节目了，我们把桌子放回原处，搬动桌子的时候很费劲，老师说剩下的时间可以吃吃瓜子、吃吃东西，什么没吃完，可以再吃一会。

就这样，元旦联欢会在同学们的欢乐中结束了。

放了寒假，我随奶奶回了老家，到了年三十，爸爸妈妈也回来了。中午吃了饭以后，奶奶和妈妈在包饺子，爷爷、爸爸和我则贴对联。爷爷把对联放在桌子上，用小笤帚刷上一层浆糊，然后我拿到院子里，爸爸在梯子上等着，我递给他，他贴在墙上，再用笤帚刷一遍，刷刷平。很快，各个门口、窗户上就都贴好了。然后，我又洗干净了手，去帮奶奶和妈妈包饺子。我先擀皮，面活的有点软，我把皮都粘到擀面杖上了，后来妈妈帮我撒了很多面才行，我一次可以擀好几个哟，我先在面板上一字排开，然后用擀面仗一块擀，厉害吧，就是擀得不太圆，还挺厚，用得时候妈妈又重新加工了。后来，我又帮奶奶包饺子，我托着面皮，用小勺把馅放在皮上，学着奶奶的样子捏起来，哎，菜都出来了。奶奶又重新教我捏，最后我不捏了，干脆把它放在面板上，用手把边按在一起，这样好多了，最起码馅不出来了。到了傍晚，爷爷爸爸去请老爷爷，我也跟着去了，不过放鞭炮的太多、太响，把我提前吓回来了。晚上我一直玩到很晚才睡，第二天早上，大人们放鞭炮、下饺子、串门拜年的时候，我就在睡梦中度过了。接下来的几天，就是亲戚相互串门，我们小孩子平常不太见面，这回可都聚在一起了，别提多兴奋了，捉迷藏、玩泥巴、过家家，玩得可高兴了。

It was the first day of our summer holiday.All of us were very

happy.Why?Because we have one month to do things we love to do.We are

free.Although we have some homework.But we can finish them in several days.And

the rest time we can make good use of.We have been very tired after hard
