Two weeks later, the names of the team runners were called. Joey was number six on the list. Joey had made the team. He was in seventh grade — the other six team members were all eighth—graders. 春天，是我最喜欢的时节。在那个时节里，每天都充满了勃勃生机。

在春姑娘披着一身绿衣裳，静悄悄地来到人间，打开春天的大门的时候，整个世界都焕然一新。

早晨，来到草地上，小草弟弟探出了绿油油的“小脑袋”在大地妈妈的呼唤下，像刚刚睡醒的小婴儿一样，张开朦胧的睡眼，贪婪地吮吸着大自然所赠送的阳光雨露。远处的迷雾不断地向这边涌来。春天的早晨是那样朦胧，小鸟们叽叽喳喳地开始了美好的一天。

中午，太阳用它那轻柔地光照射进了我们的心坎。远处几座农舍旁，竹叶成林。老人，孩子们在那里聊天、嬉戏。不远处有一条小河，河中有一群鸭子游戏水中，还不时把头扎到水下去觅食。看到这幅画面，我不禁想到这句诗“竹外桃花三两枝，春江水暖鸭先知。”

晚上，月亮姐姐来上班了，它跟星星们一起在云层之间和我们玩捉迷藏呢!夜晚的农舍十分宁静，猪也在一旁呼呼大睡着，圈里的牛也不发出哞哞声，沉睡的牲畜，让人感觉十分幽静。

简朴的农舍，生机勃勃的春天，真是一幅美丽的画卷!
