In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal college life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in

activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. They are the 3 key elements for an ideal college life.

Those, however, are not what college life is all about. As we all know, college is wildly different from middle school. when i was in high school, I had to study all the time and hardly had spare time to do what i wanted to.Besides, I had to focus on my textbooks and doing exercise again and again. Therefore, I had little time to read magazines and novels and watch TV. what was worse, I couldnt play with my friends a lot, which I couldnt stand the most. 先是收获花生，来到山坡上的地里。哇，一片绿色略带黄色的花生苗正随风摇曳着……父亲先是拿起锄头轻轻地在花生苗旁挖了几下，那带着泥土的芬芳，饱满的花生便破土而出。太阳透过树叶间的空隙密密麻麻地散落下来，炎热的温度把我的激情瞬间磨灭。时间缓缓地走着，终于到了晌午，看着收获大半背的花生，也算是觉得欣慰，虽然手上和腿上都被蚊子叮上一个个豆大的包，也长起了一些红红的，痒痒的小痘痘，汗水也早已将我的衣服弄湿，但那一刻我还是觉得这一切都是值得的。

再是收获玉米，来到玉米地里，高高挺拔的玉米杆上结着一个个饱满的玉米，作文像个刚出生的婴儿被一层层被子包裹着。我和妈妈一同掰玉米，虽然玉米的母亲舍不得孩子离去，但经过我们的强拉硬拽也最终让她们妥协了。不一会儿，背篓就装满了，背回家，又反复如此。不久，便把屋子的角落给堆满了。玉米被掰回家后，又得让玉米粒离核。我们就这样搓玉米，接连搓了好几天，终于“出土”了一些白珍珠似的玉米粒，虽然手上也搓红了，搓痒了，但为了能更好地体验生活，也就咬咬牙过去了。

最后，当然就是收稻谷了。走到田间，看见农民伯伯在田间割稻穗，打稻穗，心里便疼疼的，真想尝试尝试。下了田，脚下全是稀泥，走一步很费力，觉得自己会随时陷阱去。与父亲一同割稻穗，走过稻桩时，它不时地从我腿上划过来。半天下来，我的腿已是绯红的了，有些地方还磨破了皮，很疼。打稻穗也费力，我的力气不太够，那谷粒不能完全打下来，真可谓是“粒粒皆辛苦”呀！

一连下来，我的背上，腿上全是伤痕累累，才终于知道为何父母肌肤为何如此粗糙，终于懂得他们的辛酸了。母亲走过来对我说；“孩子，你知道生活的艰苦了吗？父母就是小时候没有读书的机会，你们现在有这个条件，你不好好珍惜，将来后悔可来不及了。”

既然我们现在有这么好的学习机会，为什么不努力学习呢？我们是新时代的接班人，应用新的方式去创造未来，而不是像父辈一样辛勤劳累在田野间，还得看天吃饭。我们绝不能让美好未来与我们擦肩而过！

时间过得可真快，一转眼我们的气球就剩十几个了，我一看表可十一点了，我和姐姐都还没吃饭呢！我们收拾这东西准备回家，在回家的路上我和姐姐数了数我们赚了多少钱！没想到我们赚的钱居然出乎了我的预料！我们一共赚了24元。
